Golden Age: Revival

Allina: <You know. Schwarz. The vampire that shot your dad... We're here live from the Wartooth mansion where a bunch of weird teenagers are about to battle two angry women with medieval weapons!>

*She draws her rapier and prepares for battle.*

"You need to calm down."

*Azuma kneels down and places a hand on the ground. Ice begins to form and race towards Allina's feet.*

Mimiru:<You can't just bury her in snow instead of some complicated thing that won't work?>

"Ice is so much cooler."

*A cold feeling begins to climb up her legs and spread throughout the rest of her body.*

Taiyo:<You're not going to kill her, are you?>

"Only if I screw up."

*Allina looks down and light wings grow out of her back. She floats upwards, making sure not to move her body too much.*

Allina: <Careful jerk, I'm only preparing in case they decide to get aggressive.>

[...And fuck. Now he made me fly on TV. I'm so screwed.]

*Roatha exits the mansion soon afterward. The observant might notice that his shoulder is healed.*

R"He left. But...I saw his footprint in the living room."

*He narrows his eyes dangerously at Kyoujin.*

R"You lied to us."

"She continues to be stupid."

Allina: <You're stupid.>

"Well excuse me" Kyoujin sighed at Roatha, "But I choose to trust the Emperor of Japan more than a bunch of random strangers that followed a god damned Manticore in."
"Anyway, what exactly do you want with Nobunga? If you'd explained yourselves maybe we wouldn't have lied." Luna said.

R"What are you people, idiots?! HE sent the Manticore, he's been sending monsters after us, he's one of the people who hired that assassin, & isn't it funny that he just HAPPENED to get spotted by a news team leaving your house? He set this whole thing up to get rid of us, because...hey, why ARE the Illuminati trying to get rid of us?"

N"I don't know. I assumed they were all card-carrying villains."

E"We did get their Ceasar kicked out of Russia."

R"Why would they still be pissed about that?"

N"Because they're a bunch of babies & whiners."

"Ceasar? Don't you mean President? Or Tsar as the case would be with him."

Allina: <Yup. Tsar. I'll never get what you people did in Russia, I swear.>

E"I MEANT the guy in charge of the Illuminati. Who is this ex-president-and-or-tsar guy."

"The Russian. Kroshkey."

E"Did that SOUND like a question? No? Then stop telling me shit I already know."

Allina: <Where was I when that happened, anyway? Oh yeah. Never mind.>

"Jeez, did everyone wake up on the wrong side of the bed?"

Allina: <Clearly.>

"So..." Kyoujin found this all very confusing- her first contact with other supernatural people just turned out to be an arsehole using her for his own personal gain.
"So he betrayed us." Luna concluded.

*They hear police sirens.*

R"And now the bastard's about to get us arrested."

N"Not if they don't press charges."

R"Are you willing to take that chance?"

N"Not really, no. But would we have gotten this far if we didn't rely on a bunch of assclowns we barely know?"

R"That...that should not be the basis of our decision-making."

"A little late for that now, isn't it?"

*Allina sheathes her rapier and lands.*

Allina: <So we're gonna stand here and take the chance?>

R"If they try to double-cross us, I can always attempt to teleport us away at the last minute."

N"Will that work?"

R"I don't know."

"Well, you're the only one who can do it, so we'd best hope it works.""

[No pressure.]

[He'll probably teleport us into jail anyway.]

"Wait, wait, wait" Kyoujin cut in, "So this Emperor's only plan to kill you was a single Manticore and a bunch of Australian police? Sounds stupid to me."

N"No, I imagine his plan was to get us sent to prison, so that we'd be trapped, without any of our weapons, then send an assassin to do us in. Such as Yomi."

*The police barge through the gates.*
