Sins of the Father

*Hitomi casts Dispel on one of the reflected Guado.*

Ingrid Flares the one Hitomi dispelled.

*Ark jumps back, quickly blasting the Guado with Aeroga before running and stabbing at his chest while attempting to steal any goods he might be carrying.*

*He has an ether. The last remaining Guado Guard triplecasts Firaga on them all.*

<I regret nothing. Can you say the same thing, blood-traitor? Oh, that's right...you were never a REAL Guado to begin with. Just a monster in Guado skin.>

*Ark punches him in the face and stabs his chest.*

*Hitomi casts Reflect on Luna then herself.*

Ingrid silently wonders why no one ever uses ground based magic, since she is immune to it now.

*Luna takes a swipe at the Guado Guard, but he blocks it, jabbing into her stomch.*

*Ark stabs him again.*

Realizing that there was a guard still alive, Ingrid casts reflect on herself, then reflects a flare off herself at him, since she didn't remember if the guard had a reflect on him.

*Hitomi reluctantly lets go of Luna's hand and reflects a Flare off of herself at the Guado that insulted Luna.*

*With all of those guards dead, she veered off to the path leading to the Farplane.*

"I didn't really want to see Jyscal, I just wanted to see if he was out to get us, which apparently he is. So, hopefully, he hasn't figured out what we're up to yet."

*Still angry about the Guado Guard's comment Hitomi sets what's left of it on fire.*

"Okay." Ingrid said, following.

*Ark follows Luna quietly, glaring around at any Guado he might see through the houses' windows.*

*When they enter into the plateau of the Farplane, they find Jyscal already waiting for them at the center.*

Jyscal<Why have you come here? Was slaughtering one Maester not enough?>

That's not all we've done... Ingrid thought, her mind drifting to Yunalesca.

*Hitomi stands by Luna looking not at all un-mad.*

Jyscal<Not going to answer?>

"Maester, we came to ask the spirits of the Farplane about the labs for--"

Jyscal<I've heard enough of that ridiculous conspiracy theory! There are no Sinspawn in the Yevon temples, aside from the Al Bhed grown abomination that stands before me!>

*A Waterga forms over Jyscal's head and bursts.*

*Ark glares at Jyscal, gritting his teeth, and draws his daggers.*

Seeing as Hitomi got the party started, Ingrid casts protect on herself, the reflect, then scans Jyscal before Flaring him.

*Before Ingrid gets farther than Protect, Jyscal snaps his fingers, & the party enjoys the feeling of an invisible gag being shoved down their throats.*

Jyscal<I believe I said that I've heard enough.>

*Jyscal holds up an arm & Pyreflies emerge from around the Farplane, circling around him in a tornado. As they do so, they harden around him, until Jyscal; is wearing spiky and chitinous armor with a prehensile tail, is holding a spear taller than he is with a long & slender point, & surrounds the battle arena with 4 purple glyphs.*

Jyscal<Summo--no...Sinspawn Luna, your meaningless existance ends here. As for the rest of you, I see now that the only way to save you is to kill you.>

*Hitomi casts Holy on Jyscal.*

*Ark casts Aeroga on the nearest glyph and observes its reaction, keeping an eye on Jyscal.*
