Sins of the Father

*Ark shakes his head, glaring at Zazak.*

<Convenient that he was burned and tossed off of the mountain, wasn't it? The state he was in when he was found makes it hard to corroborate your story.>

*He growls at Hitomi.*

<Why did you do it?>

Ingrid noticed the reaction Hitomi had to Zazak, but didn't really make note of it, Hitomi is always either glaring, or averting her eyes from something.

"To protect Luna."

<You murdered a Maester! The leader of the Ronso tribe!>

"We think if we can talk to the Fayth, we'll be able to get answers. Can't you give us that much?"

"But it was to protect Luna."

[...And to protect Spira.]

*Zazak roars at Hitomi.*

<And you think Luna is more important than the Ronso Tribe, than the rest of Spira?!>

*Hitomi looks up, glaring at Zazak with fire in her eyes.*

"Yes!"

*At this point Ark is staring at Hitomi doing his best not to glare.*

Ingrid simply let out a small sigh. "Maybe the fayth saw what happened, if we could just ask them they might be able to shed more light on the matter." She didn't really thing that the fayth had seen what happened, but if the ronso agreed they would be able to find out the info they needed to know.

*What Zazak did was to grab Hitomi & roar in her face.*

<Request denied!>

*Casting Hastega, Luna dashes to Hitomi's side & puts the spear to Zazak's throat. A Ronso hits her in the head with a giant seed, causing her to stumble around in a confused fashion.*

*Realizing Luna's been hit, Ark runs over to them, grabbing Hitomi by the arm and pulling her away from Zazak while casting two Aeroga spells on the Ronso leader.*

"I knew this would all go to hell at some point." Ingrid moaned, casting Meteor on the group of Ronso.

*Hitomi casts Protect on Luna then Holy on Zazak.*

Hopefully this time we can leave their leader alive... Ingrid thought, not wanting to become Ronso enemy number one.

*Valefor swoops in front of the rest of the Ronso as they surge forward, & is soon buried by hacking & slashing warriors. The confused Luna swings at Hitomi's throat & a stray meteorite heads for her & Ark.*

*Hitomi ducks and casts Esuna on Luna then Shell on herself.*

Ingrid casts another Meteor on the group of Ronso attacking Valefor. "Perhaps we should get out of here before we are overwhelmed by the Ronso." And subsequently have to kill them all...

*Ark glares at Ingrid and casts Haste on himself and Hitomi, then tries to run out of the meteorite's path. In the event he succeeds, he proceeds to cast Regen on himself and Hitomi if she isn't affected by a Reflect spell.*

Having been glared at by nearly everyone in her party multiple times by now, Ingrid has started to not really care.

*Ark is hit by a Meteor while his dumb ass is casting Haste on people who are already Hastened. Hitomi, still in the blast radius, receives lesser damage. Luna, no longer confused, stabs Zazak, a torrent of gravity condensing onto him. As he collapses, Valefor flies free & hits the other Ronso with an Energy Ray.*

*Ark still casts Regen on himself, Hitomi and Luna, unless any of them has Reflect in effect.*

*Hitomi casts Shell on Ark and last Ingrid even though she's hammering EVERYONE with meteors.*

Ingrid used Meteor on the group of ronso again, figuring that her party would wise up and get out of the blast radius eventually. She also wanted to give them some incentive to consider actually fleeing, leaving at least some Ronso left, while they made a break for the fayth.
