Arcane Tales

*Derek dashes towards the cloaked man and slashes at him.*

Derek: <I won't allow the sake of the kingdom of Sephira be compromised!>

*James pulls out his sword and shoots a wave of fire at the hooded man.*

*The Shield Sylph flies in front of the others and holds her shield out, a giant wall of green wind forming in front of them and stopping all of the incoming attacks. The cloaked man and the girl at his feet are enveloped in a sphere of light. After it fades away, they are nowhere to be found. The Shield Sylph flies behind the other two, panting.*

Allina: <Where is he!?>

Lucien's shadow hands reach out and grab the sylph's around the neck choking them slowly.

"Oh... shit... that was princess Kelphy... we're so fucked" Alto says.

*Kari & Kentaro draws their gun attempting to take aim and fire at the Sylphs.*

*The Sword Sylph cuts all of the hands in two before they can even reach them. The Bow Sylph rockets high into the sky and shoots an arrow of blue wind down. It grows and splits into dozens of normal sized arrows that rain upon the group. Allina's enveloped in a sphere of red light that blocks most of the arrows, but one still gets through and grazes her shoulder*

Allina: <Ouch! Hey... Where is Derek?>

*Derek wakes up in a dark room. There is a small hole on the stone wall from which a beam of sunlight is breaking in, but it is otherwise pitch dark*

OOC: This is balls. Just want to let you know that.

All three of them defend since attacking is doing shit.

*Kari and Kentaro both direct their fire towards the shield sylph.*

*The Shield Sylph holds her shield up to stop the bullets but is still knocked back onto the floor. She flies upward as the Sword Sylph rockets forward and shoots a barrage of wind blades at Lucien and the Bow Sylph shoots a stream of window arrows at Kari & Kentaro*

The blades hit then trio. Alto is blasted back, Creed is forced to his knee, and Lucien blocks most of the damage with his shadow hands.

*Kari covers her face with her arms while Kentaro fires at it keeping an arm over his head.*

*One of the bullets grazes one of the Bow Sylph's wings and she shrieks, flying away. A human shape of swirling blue wind forms in front of Kari & Kentaro and dashes towards them, holding its hands out and shooting arrows at them. Allina points her staff at Creed and he's enveloped in blue strings of light that heal most of his wounds. The Shield and Sword Sylphs too fly away around one of the mesas. Two more wind golems form, one red and one green, in front of Allina and the guys*

*Kari runs off to avoid the monsters attack, Kentaro runs in the opposite direction of Kari.*

"This is getting insane!" all three of them attack the nearest target.

Allina: <So what, they run away and leave behind these bullies?>

*The green wind golem struggles to block Alto, Creed and Lucien's attacks as the red one dashes towards Allina, punching at her stomache and slamming her into a rock. The blue golem quickly catches up with Kari and tries to grab her*

*Kari dives away from the golem while Kentaro chases after it shooting.*

"Apparently so" Creed says as he slices at the leg of the green golem.

Alto slices the other leg.

Lucien creates illusionary images of the whole group to attack the various golems and confuse them.

*The bullets fly right through the blue golem, but they do seem to damage it, as it stumbles forward. The green golem falls on its back and rolls backward, getting back up. The red golem leaps forward and flies through the air towards Alto, punching at him.*

Allina: <Where are they? ...Imma see if I can find those little brats!>

*She runs off deeper into the canyon, in the direction the Sylphs went*

Creed follows Allina as Alto dodges the punch and retaliates with a horizontal slash. Lucien Appears behind the green golem sending his shadow hands out to knock it off it's feet again.

*Kari rolls over and fires at the golem, Kentaro slams his shoulder into it.*

OOC: Lucien Appears?

*The red golem flies upward to dodge the slash and then rockets back down, crashing into Alto. The green golem runs forward to get away from the shadow hands and punches at illusion Allina. Kentaro falls through the golem, which rolls forward, attempting to dodge the bullets.*

*The Bow Sylph rockets past Allina and Creed a ways into the canyon, giggling*

Allina: <...Kill it with fire!>

OOC: Getting kind of frustrated now with this battle.

Lucien casts another illusion around himself making it look like he's not there before sending his shadow hands out again.

Alto is stunned briefly.

"Damnit, stupid thing get back here!"

*Kentaro rolls out of the way of the golem and fires. Kari stands up and fires at the golem.*

OOC: ^

*The green golem is trapped by the shadow hands, struggling to break free. The blue one continues running around to try and dodge the bullets, which is obviously kind of pointless. The red one stumbles back and the wind it is made of slows down greatly. An orb of glowing red light appears within its chest as they hear a girly voice make a sound that is something like a muffled "Ouchie"*

*They hear more giggling and a second Sylph comes darting through the air, this time the Sword one*

Allina: <Hell no!>

*A blue spherical barrier surrounds them the second the Sylph approaches, causing her to crash into it and fall to the ground, making a sound that's something like a muffled "Ouchie"*

*Kentaro stops firing, Kari doing the same.*

"What's wrong?"

Kentaro:<This thing bugs me.>
