*Taiyo stands by in what could possibly be the longest silence for her ever.*

*A wall slides away, revealing 2 pillars. A spark runs between them & a Garganta opens.*

*Basidius attempts to block, but his sword starts to dissolve, followed by his arms. His mask cracks apart just before his head is devoured. When the explosion fades, a small, feathery Hollow with a mask similar to Basidius's is lying on the ground, half-crushed & dissolving.*

<Why? Why did you have to come back now? I was so close...to surpassing you.>

"Then I suppose it's good that I came back when I did."

With that done Mortal cuts off part of her arm so that it could regrow from a fresh wound, not Basidius' poison. "So, what now?"

Atsuko decided to meet up with her captain and they crossed paths half way between the first and 9th Division Barracks'.
Kira stopped in his tracks when he saw the familiar face approaching him.
"Hello... Chiryo-shi?" Kira asked as she landed before him and swept into a low bow, "What is it that you want?"
"I sensed that their may have been a problem" Atsuko explained, straightening up, "After I felt the clashing reiatsu in the Rukon, and then you were suddenly speeding back to our barracks... Is there anything I can do?"
"Yes, there is... I will continue on to the barracks but I want you to head to the department of research and development. Once there, ask for Kisuke Urahara and tell him that your captain's Zanpakuto was possibly sealed in a Negacion of some kind and he wants it back."

*Taiyo goes through.*

*Once Basidius finishes dissolving, her arm regenerates. Lilith & Taiyo step through a Garganta.*

S"We could ask them why they're here."

L"Not that it's any of your business, but we heard about your problems with the Arrancar, & were ordered to scout out what's going on in Hueco Mundo. It looks like there was a big fight here. Are you having some kind of succession dis--"

S"Hold on. I have to stop you. What is that ridiculous appendage on the catgirl's Zanpakuto?"

*Noctis hears footsteps in the hallway, & the creaking of the bedroom door.*

"No discussion" Yue reseals and lands holding Aera's body which is somehow still in one piece. "Senthose killed the shroom who called himself king. You kill it, you buy it. Senthose's king of Hueco Mundo again" Yue says though his voice is a bit strained. He's noticeably pretty banged up from the fight.

He turned to Senthose, "Nice threads."

Noctis looks over.

Mortal looks flexes her arm a bit and looks over towards Senthose and Lilith's conversation. Sab appears beside her.

"Oh" Kira raised and eyebrow, assuming the Negacion had dissolved in front of him and not back in the Rukon, "Well then you don't have to do that."

Atsuko looked confused and said nothing.

"So anyway... I want you to head on back to the barracks."

"Okay.. I mean, yes sir." Atsuko nodded and shunpo'd away.

"She made them."

*He gestures to the petit redheaded Arrancar with the opera gloves & mask like a cartoon bug on top of her head, who is hiding behind Mortal.*

*Euryale walks down the hallway, attempting in vain to smooth her hair down.*

*A stealth corps member appears behind Kira.*

<Captain of Squad 2, Yoruichi Shihoin, & Head Captain Retsu Unohana have ordered an emergency Captain's Meeting, to take place immediately.>

Kira nodded and shunpo'd towards the first division barracks.

Noctis frowned, "I'm sorry, did I wake you up?"

Mortal just noticed Aroma hiding behind her and raised an eyebrow, "Are you alright back there?" She asked, wondering why she was hiding.

Sab merely furrowed her eyebrows and looked at Aroma.

Yue gives her the thumbs up, "Sorry if I almost hit you earlier. Was trying not to since you didn't look to be with Basidus willingly."

<I'm fine, so long as no one tries to eat me. Or stab me with swords. Or make me explode. But, I'll be fine, because you won't let me get hurt! ...Right?>

*She tightens her grip around Mortal's waist.*

"No, I was just getting up. It's been a couple hours since you came out here...are you okay?"

*He's the first one to get there, followed shortly thereafter by Noah.*

"The Head Captain isn't here? Why would she call a meeting before she even gets back?"

"Captain Shihoin isn't here either..." Kira mumbled to himself, feeling suddenly threatened.

Atsuko got back to her barracks and went to find Hisagi and ask him just what was going on.

Yue shifts Aera around in his arms before nearly falling to one knee and laughing, "Except for Senthose, no offense, I don't think any of us are the 'stabbing allies' type. I know I'm not at least" his voice is becoming more strained as he fights to stay standing. His wounds are pretty bad after all.

Noct raised an eyebrow, "Few hours, huh, felt less than that. Anyway, I'm fine, I've just been here watching TV, I guess I dozed off a bit while doing so." She said, "Do you want to make breakfast, or should I?" She asked.

Mortal furrowed her eyebrows, she was beginning to feel that Aroma was getting a bit clingy, but didn't want to be mean to her, probably because she reminded her so much of Sab, "Well, I'd prefer you be able to handle yourself at least somewhat, but if you're part of this... whatever this is, then yea, I'll protect you."

Sab wanted to pull Aroma off of Mortal but she didn't want to appear jealous, and clingy, so she simply watched grudgingly, hoping Mortal would take it upon herself to push her off.

*Kite arrives at the metting.*

Kite: <So, where's everyone?>

N"That's what we were just wondering."

*Aroma's opera gloves become work gloves & her skin flushes greenish as she scampers on over to Yue & begins stitching up his wounds with silk. Strangely, the blood seems to stop at the silk line & seep back into the skin.*

*She reaches out to a door handle, opening it without looking inside.*

"I just have to go to the bathroom first."

*Behind her, a suited upper body leans out of the open doorway. The head, a featureless white mask, slowly turns to "look" at Noctis.*

"Amazing!" Yue says cheerfully as Aroma heals him. "That's a pretty cool ability you have."

Atsuko found another squad member and asked them where the Lieutenant was.

"I guess we'll just have to wait..." Kira sighed, "Unless someone wants to go searching around the barracks."

"Look out!" Noct called, jumping to her feet, shadow sword in hand.

"You could always find ways to be dangerous. Just, get creative. I have enough faith in you to do something." Mortal said, she then looked over at Senthose. "So, I'll be heading back home."

"But what about those people, working for Keter?"

"Right, I forgot there was a reason I was running around, doing things." Mortal said, "What would I do without you Sab?" She added, with a small smile.

"Her." "You survived long without me."

"That was the past." Mortal replied, "Speaking of, I can't help but feel like I know who this Keter person is... maybe I met her once."

OOC: Keter wouldn't have used her name at the time, for the record.

*Aroma blushes.*

L"What are you all muttering suspiciously about?"

*The Garganta the Soul Reapers came through suddenly slams shut.*

S"Looks like there isn't time to explain...that can't be good."

L"Why? What do you know about this?"

S"Just that whatever sealed off your ride out of here matches the Reitsu of the machine Aamon used to use to control Garganta pathways."

*The Arrancar ducks back in the bathroom. Euryale looks behind her, then in the bathroom.*

"Honestly, why are you so jumpy late...ly...."

*When Euryale turns back to look at Noctis, she sees, reflected in Euryale's iris, a suited, 4-armed shape looming up behind her, probably just outside of her shadow.*

*Binah withdraws her Zanpakuto, but instead of attacking Atae, she drops it so that it sticks into the ground.*

*The sword becomes a bamboo shoot. From that, vines spread across the floor, out the doors & windows. A few tree branches burst through the room at various angles. All of the plants are pure white.*

N"Hold that thought. What the Hell is that?"

*He points outside, where large, pure white trees grow, twisting around the towers of the Seireitei & fanning out into immense canopies. On ground level, hedgerows & vines are forming, some of the vines creeping up to the bridge & into the barracks. Noah stabs a vine, but all that happens is that the point where he stabbed sprouts a blue flower.*

"That's not good"
