*He kind of stumbles back, but that's about the worst of it.*

Selecus<You still don't get it, do you, kid? We aren't just a bunch of random, nameless supervillains from out of nowhere. Each one of us is a brilliant tactician with an enormous sphere of influence, in our own right. You have a magical item or two? We have, maybe, one or two hundred. That said, Nobunaga? Strictly little league compared to those of us who are left.>

Noct shoots again, and creates a shadow clone to stab him in the back with a katar.

*He No Sells these as well.*

Gilgamesh<Why are you attacking him?>

Selecus<Indeed. It won't work.>

Gilgamesh<Well, that is not exactly what I meant, but that is also curious. Would you mind sharing?>

Selecus<Oh, not at all.>

Gilgamesh<Huh. Really?>

Selecus<No.>

"I'm attacking because he seemed like he meant me harm," Noct said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "He literally said he'd like for us to be dead."

Arthur<This is true. However, he has yet to attack us. He also stated that he is an enemy of Mordred's.>

Selecus<That's right, so just cool your hormones, kiddo.>

"So what, we wait for him to attack first?" Noct furrowed her brow, but didn't make any move to continue attacking.

*Taiyo answers on the grounds that Azuma does not have a cell phone.*

Taiyo:<Hello?>

<Yes, what did you want?>

Arthur<T'would be the honorable thing to do.>

Selecus<Also prudent. Once the Black Knight gets down here, & finds out that what he wants isn't here, you'll lose track of him again.>

Arthur<And what of the knights you bid to bar his path?>

Selecus<Casualties of war, can't be helped, you understand.>

Taiyo:<Out of Egypt.>

N"We're already out of Egypt!"

<Wha...how? Where are you now? Do you even know where you're going?>

"Honorable? Oh, right, King Arthur..."

Arthur<Hmm? Is something the matter?>

*Echoes of small booming noises sound down the tunnel for several minutes before suddenly ceasing.*

Selecus<That will be the Black Knight breaking through the last line of defense. I will have to be sure to order more subordinates after this mess is cleaned up.>

Taiyo:<No.>

"We got out of the country in this piece of shit? Amazing."

N"Hey, we're travelling down this road to a palace in Somalia, we know exactly where we're going."

<What about how to get there?>

N"Ahh--"

R"We tried to call you, but we couldn't get anything."

<Ah, yes. I fear I was busy. I also must regret to inform you that I don't have very much control over that region. My advice? Take the Nile to get into Ethiopia. I can mark this road of yours via satellite and send it to you, so that you can get back on it once you're there.>

Noct just kind of stands there.

*Mordred exits the tunnel soon afterwards. Selecus has slipped to the side of the cavern, just out of view.*

Mordred<Oh, look, it's Father and his...knights. Mayhap it's time you forego this struggle? You seem a might bit...obsessive.>

Noct lifts her weapon, then sighs, "Right, honorable thing to do is wait..."

Arthur<Consider this one an exception.>

*Arthur swings his sword, a torrent of fire blasting towards the tunnel & Mordred. After all of the flames disappear up the tunnel, Mordred is completely unharmed.*

Mordred<Temper, temper.>

*He grabs a spear thrusted to his back by Gilgamesh, who teleported behind him. Once he has ahold of it, he slices it in half. The broken shaft transforms into a crossbow, which Gilgamesh fires at Mordred. Tossing the spear aside, he grabs the bolt & stabs Gilgamesh in the shoulder with it.*

Noct creates about five shadow swords, and hovers them around Mordred before each shooting at him. Noct also shoots with her rifle, aiming for his knee.

Allina: <This is when one of you says we're all going to die, and 5 minutes later we're being eaten by lions. Are there lions around there?>

*She takes out her phone and gets busy.*

Allina: <Yep.>

*Mordred slashes three of the swords away, & barely avoids the fourth. The bullet puts a dent in his knee armor & he grimaces. Gilgamesh fires another salvo of arrows at him, which scrape across his armor. Arthur attacks him with an overhead slash, which he blocks.*

Arthur<You seem to be having difficulty against so many attacks.>

Mordred<Not likely.>

*Mordred sinks into the ground, re-emerging on the other end of the room. The water behind him begins boiling, filling the cavern with steam.*

N"Well, we might have to deal with the lions, because we need to find the river, & also some kind of boat or raft or something."

Noct tries her attack again, going with five swords this time.

Allina: <"The Nile crocodile or Common crocodile is an African crocodile which is common in Somalia, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Egypt, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Gabon, South Africa, Malawi, Sudan, Botswana, and Cameroon." Think I read somewhere it's also the largest crocodile species in the world. And let's not even mention the hippo, which is the most dangerous wild animal in the world. Or something. I'm done scaring us now. We can get going.>

N"Are you sure? You don't need more time alone with Encyclopedia Brittanica?"
