Winter 2012 Anime Season

So far I've watched High School D x D. It's... actually really good? The uncensoredness and fanservice doesn't seem out of place for some reason.

Still waiting on Guilty Crown Reassortment to be be subbed.

I haven't even finished the stuff I was watching from last spring.

You guys suck at watching things.

I cut through NGE in like, three days, and that was because I took a break half way through.

I don't like rushing through shit, because then I have nothing left to watch.

Watch other shit.

Or continue watching ongoing shit.

1. I have to wait for ongoing shit to come out.
2.Most new shit sounds retarded & I don't want to waste my time on it.

Then watch good old shit. Oh wait, that is right, you have the most asinine tastes in anime that finding something you like is nigh impossible.

Shit, I haven't even watched the last two episodes of Togainu no Chi and that series finished about a year ago.

But I don't particularly want to re-watch Samurai Champloo when I just did that a couple months ago.

I hate it when anime's don't have titles in English.

I've never told Loki to watch an anime. I have told him about some yuri things, which he seemed to enjoy enough to change his avatar to, but that is it.

That statement does not describe me at all. I think you're confusing "Thing X in Anime Y isn't that great" with not liking it.

That does sound like you. Dear god, now I know why he doesn't like you, you're the same person. You've never said "Thing X in Anime Y isn't that great" save for some shit you talk about DBZ. Almost always it is "That sounds stupid, and you're stupid for liking it."

To be fair, anything Hayao Miyazaki or Studio Ghibli has done is great.

I doubt you've ever had a valid reason, unless you count being a dick as a valid reason, which you probably do.

And I remember that, which I still don't get. I showed you an AMV and you even said they were a lot better than you remembered them being, then a few months later we have the same conversation, and you come back with the same criticism about Champloo, so instead of showing you the AMV again I simply called you dumb.

Actually, it was Gang Starr, which worked well with Champloo, since, you know, it has a b-boying samurai on it already.

Maybe they were. The simple fact is that there's still only a few "good" ones. Without dispute, Kariya & the assassin chick were good. Maybe some others.

Contrast that with Bleach. It is 6 times Champloo's size & made out of fight scenes. Even if most of them are bad, statistically speaking, it has more good fights than Champloo.

I watch Bleach subbed. Begrudgingly.

Okay, take Elfen Lied. Everyone who tries to pitch it to me always emphasizes all of the gore. When I say it sounds like mindless gore porn, they switch gears & try to say it has some kind of deep story, but can't explain it. I say I have sufficient grounds to say their pitch sounds stupid. And it doesn't help when I watch videos they've posted (and by "videos," I of course mean "death scenes"), & they turn out to be, surprise surprise, mindless gore porn, complete with godawful dialogue.

The fact you don't watch a lot of subbed anime is probably the reason why you come off as having asinine tastes.

Its kind of hard to recommend shit to you.

Then don't ask awful people to tell you about it. Read about it on goddamn Tv Tropes.

And while you're at it, watch Gankutsuo: The Count of Monte Cristo. It's essentially the Count of Monte Cristo is a sci-fi setting.
