"That is..." Mortal was disappointed and just shook her head.

Noct actually laughed out loud. "That was legitimately funny, not in a bad pun kind of way either," Noct said wiping a tear from her eye, though it could have just been the shower water for all she knew.

E"I'd like to think I have a pretty good wit, even if I'm not much for sarcasm."

S"You can fight about that later. Are you sure there are no Binding Kidos that could contain Garganta?"

L"Nope. It has to be able to seal off the space somehow. And even if it did, it wouldn't be able to stop him from making more."

Noct smiled, "You're not much for subtlety in general, but that is alright. And yes, you have a great wit."

"Why don't you try to stop him from making Gargantas in the first place?" Sab asked.

L"How do you propose I stop someone from ripping open a space ho--dimensional anchor rods! Oh, but those are really easy to break."

E"Who needs subtlety when you can literally move mountains?"

"Would you move mountains for me?" Noct asked.

"If you can hold him in place for a little while I could get you close enough to strike in the half second it takes for him to break your kido, assuming it will take a half second."

L"No, no, that wouldn't be practical. I'll have to work on a way to strengthen the dimensional anchor rods. Nothing is going to be able to completely stop him, but I might be able to severely cripple his ability."

E"I would prefer not to, but if a mountain somehow kept us apart, it wouldn't do so for very long."

"Thank you, Euryale," Noct said, giving her a hug, "It is good to feel wanted."

"Alrighty then," Sab said.

S"All right, so we have shaky plans for Gevurah, Malkuth, and Netzach. Any other concerns?"

L"What if they try to use a seki-seki barrier to disable levitation?"

S"I doubt they will, but just in case, I've got some of Aamon's old junk for that too."

E"I concur."

"Why would they?" Mortal asked, "It'd put them at the same disadvantage in most cases, and would be entirely ineffectual in my case because I'm usually on the ground anyway."

"You are, by the way," Noctis said, "I want nothing more in the world than spend the rest of my life with you."

S"I know what she is referring to. One of them had a Hollowfication that gave her wings. It gave them air superiority when we were fighting in the Soul Society. You probably remember her as the one who wouldn't stop making arm puns after cutting off my arms."

Mortal snickered, "She sounds like a hoot."

E"Well, we should probably get some sleep. We've got a long flight back tomorrow."

Sab looked at Mortal and Senthose, "But I didn't even laugh... I like my arms."

"We can sleep on the plane," Noctis said, "If we're going into hell tomorrow, I want to spend the night in heaven."

E"Awww...all right, what do you want to do?"

S"Well then that is a problem, because I didn't plan a provision for people who can't regrow their arms."

Sab frowned, realizing she was being toyed with.

Noctis whispered a laundry list of sexually devious things into Euryale's ear.

E"I have enough energy left to do maybe a third of those."

S"Any other pressing concerns?"

"How about we try for half and see how far we get," Noct said, leaning in to kiss Euryale.

Mortal shook her head.

Astarte shook her head and looked at her hand, wondering what it would be like to be able to grow back arms at will. Whatever it felt like, it would be incredibly useful.
She turned her eyes to Senthose again and wondered just how she would go about obtaining a regeneration power like his.

*Iris feels a sharp pain blast throughout his body. He almost falls off the rock he's on.*

Iris: <DAMN, this hurts!>

S"Very well. Meeting adjourned."

*Halfway through, Euryale is half nodding off, having to jerk herself awake every few minutes.*

Noct suspends Euryale in the air with shadows, "Hey, no sleeping yet, this is barely a third."

Mortal goes back to her room to continue lying down, Sab follows along.

E"I told you, I tire easily. I'm like...like a wrecking ball. You get two or three explosive bursts, then you have to stop it & set it up again."

*Aroma scampers back to lie with Mortal, a slight spring in her step.*

Noct let out a small sigh, "Fine, just remember that you owe me when we get out of hell." With that Noct laid down, and curled up underneath the covers, leaving Euryale still in the air.

Mortal once again pulls Aroma in close to her once her head hits the pillow.

E"Uh, Noct? You mind getting me down from here? ...Please?"

A"Yay, I've been looking forward to cuddling with you two."

"I want you to think about what you've done," Noct said, "While I lay down here, and brood over not getting off."

Mortal smiled at the cheek rub. Sab cuddled in behind Aroma, spooning with her.
