*Aroma Spider-Mans the sheet, pulling it over them. She looks back at Sab.*

A"Thought you might be cold."

OOC: I love using Spider-Man as a verb.

Sab smiled, "I wasn't, but I love that you cared." With that she kisses Aroma, wrapping her arms around her waist and pulling herself closer to the equally bite sized girl.

Noct smiled, wondering how long she could draw this out. "No, I can help my issue, I would just prefer that you were involved. But if you're too tired, then no amount of discomfort should deter you from sleep."

A"How could I not?"

*She frowns.*

E"I don't want to wake up with lower back & neck pain either. I thought you'd understand, given--you know--how much you sleep."

Sab couldn't help but blush at this. Were Mortal not asleep by this point, Sab would have turned Aroma around and pull her into a more passionate kiss, but as it was she sheepishly said, "Thanks..." and buried her face in Aroma's shoulder.

Noct furrowed her brow, and looked at Euryale, sitting up, "I don't sleep that much."

E"And I don't get tired that often! But it's been a long day, & sometimes I need a rest. Do you want me to chafe? I don't."

A"Sab...do you think we'll still be like this when everything's over?"

Noct let out a sigh, "I was going to let you down in the first place, but now I don't want to." With that she gently lowers Euryale down, and kisses her, "You're lucky I love you, meany."

Sab squeezed Aroma tighter, "Of course we will. I don't doubt it for a second."

*She hugs Noctis.*

E"Ah, I didn't mean to upset you. And don't get me wrong, I had a bunch of great ideas while I was up there. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is spongey & bruised."

Noct smiled, "Well, I'll take a rain check then, but do expect me to cash that check later."

Astarte retired to her own room and lay down on the bed, sinking half of her face into the pillow and letting out a long breath.
Will I be able to return to this bed after tomorrow? Will I be able to return to Hueco Mundo, my home?
She tugged her sheathed Zanpakuto from her waist and put it on the mattress next to her before pulling a sheet over herself.
How many of the souls gathered in this house will ever come back?

Enkidu issued a low, rumbling laugh, "I think you'll live."

~The next day~

*Lilith emerges to the kitchen freshly dressed, with her hair braided. However, her bangs are less prominent than usual, & her hair is parted more prominently. Aroma turns around from the food she's cooking.*

A"Good morning, Lilith...umm...change your hairstyle?"

*Lilith forms a reflective barrier in midair, readjusting her hair.*

L"What? Damn it, Senthose must have done that."

"That isn't creepy at all..." Mortal said, walking into the room.

"I think it looks nice, if nothing else," Sab said, already sitting down at the table.

Astarte walked in and sat down without a word, seeming fidgety and upset.

Assuming Aera and Iris slept for a while, Enkidu woke them both with a booming order to rise and the clapping of his hands.
"Today is the day!" He yelled. "It's almost time for you to show me what that miasma did for you!"

L"I asked Senthose to braid my hair. I didn't expect him to do that. Just about got it fixed...."

Mortal smiled, and took a seat next to Sab. "So, were you two getting to know each other better last night?" She asked, seeming genuinely interested.

L"What makes you think we slept in the same room?"

Mortal smiled wider, "I didn't suggest anything like that. Did you?"

*Lilith's face turns red & her barrier shatters.*

L"Alright, so maybe I did. What of it?"

Astarte narrowed her eyes and stared at Lilith for a few moments, deciphering the situation, before cracking a sly grin.

Mortal was practically grinning, "Alright, I just have one question: Does he use the tentacles?"

S"Only upon request. I don't much care for the practice. They have very few nerves anyway."

*Senthose strides into the kitchen & snatches bacon.*

S"Good girl. Here's a treat."

*He hands Aroma a piece of bacon, which she just kind of stares at. By now, you can practically see smoke coming off of Lilith. She looks imploringly at Senthose.*

S"Hey, I gathered your clothes & gave you a perfectly good cover story. Not my fault you blew it. Just eat bacon, it makes everything better."

Astarte's grin had disappeared to be replaced by a mask of horror- unable to stop a series of visions flooding her mind.
She turned away and began devouring disgusting human food, her eyebrows twitching.

Mortal choked back a torrent of laughter, then laughed anyway. After wiping a small tear from her eye she said, "Well, I'm happy for you two. Not exactly a match made in heaven though."

L"Yeah, considering these didn't come from last night."

*She withdraws her shirt, showing faint bite marks.*

S"Hey, I thought we agreed, we all eat things we probably shouldn't."
