Kelphy: <Oh, I was kind of looking to pick some Grunty Food first.>

"Oh. Yeah. I forgot you were into girly things like that... I mean... yes of course we can do that first."

*Euryale "sheathes" her sword across her back.*

Euryale: But it's not good for every circumstance.

*Monudon watches as Noctis trips a nearby Magic Portal & a giant crab pops out.*

Monudon:[ Hm, if I go over I'll probably just get ignored again. Might as well wait for asecond to see what happens.]

Hector stepped back and lunged forward, thrusting his blade forward in an impaling action.

*Blake heads to the item shop and buys 5 Recovery Drinks and 2 Mage's Souls and then heads back to the gate to enter some keywords.*

OOC: You have to actually enter them. And I really need to start narrating what's going on in the towns.

*This doesn't stop the wyrm from breathing a stream of fire over him & Luna.*

Zalera: Don't you people ever learn?

*Zalera slashes it twice across the back, stabs it with his first blade, flicks his wrist to turn his second into a claw, which he uses to jab it 3 more times with, & then wrenches both blades out to finish off the skill.*

*Monudon looks around to see if he can see any Grunty food*

"Oh dear, oh dear," Hector said as he hopped back away from the Wyrm once again. This time, rather than dash in for a single attack he charged forward and began a series of near-frenzied slashes at it.

*Blake enters the words Cursed Despaired Paradise and confirms it.*

*The Wyrm finally falls as Zalera quickly casts La Repth. When it vanishes, it leaves behind a blue Risky Treasure Chest.*

*Blake emerges in a field of reddish-purple dirt with black scars. The carcasses of foot-long caterpillars can be seen on obsidian boulders.*

*There is no Grunty Food in the immediate area.*

"Who wants to open that, then?" Hector asked with disinterest.

Monudon:[ Darn it.]

*Monudon jogs off, looking for a another magic portal*

*After some running, Monudon spies a dead mammoth lying half-frozen in a block of ice. Nearby, a fish can be seen leaping from water, only the fish & the water it is leaping from appear to have been frozen in mid-jump, creating an arch of ice with a fine layer of snow collecting on it.*

*Luna uses the glare function on Hector.*

Zalera: Ignore it. It would be too time-wasting to reverse the effects. It simply isn't worth the free Fortune Wire.

*Luna quickly alternates to looking thoughtful, & then smiling at Zalera.*

"Fair enough," Hector said. "Where shall we go next?"

Noct begins to slash at it.

Sab shrugged, "I guess you're right. I just don't know what works against what. It would be good if this game had like, a guide where I could look up monsters and find out what strategies worked best."

*Monudon goes over to investigate*

*Zalera casts La Repth. While he's doing that, Luna lays her palm flat above her head & twists her wrist, causing the spear to spin. It eventually comes to rest pointing at the left path.*

*The blades scrape along the crab's shell, taking off bits of HP. It groans & twitches.*

Euryale: That is what the internet is for. But, in general, when the enemy isn't weak to anything you have, you want something that hits multiple times. At least, that's what I would think.

<White Cherry!>

*A springing noise can be heard from somewhere in the vicinity of the mammoth.*

Monudon:[Yes!]

*Monudon runs over to where the noise came from*

*The trio reaches a volcano slowly oozing lava down its sides. Yellow wisps flank the entrance to a cave, but a few feet in front of the dungeon entrance is a pedestal with a glyph carved on & a flame floating above it. Euryale reaches out towards it.*

Thiera: Don't touch it! It's a trap!

*Clearly annoyed, the crab swings a claw at her.*

*Hanging off of the other side of the frozen mammoth are a pair of white cherries (one piece of food total) with frantically grinning faces. They bounce around upon seeing Monudon.*

<White Cherry!>

"Calm down, Ackbar," Mortal said, snickering at her witty pop culture reference.

Noct dodges, assuming such a thing is possible, then attacks again.

*Monudon picks up the white cherries, then looks around for anything else interesting*

*Euryale laughs.*

Euryale: This is a Symbol. They grant a random status boost to everyone in the immediate area.

*When she touches it, the glyph on the platform vanishes, glowing glyphs appearing over the party before vanishing, leaving in their places a faint sky blue glow around everyone.*

*Dodging, no, the claw is simply too big. It hits her in the stomach as she attacks, then it reaches in with the other in an attempt to pinch her.*

*"Swimming" through the air towards Monudon is a green shark reminiscent of a hammerhead. In addition to the normal eyes, there are eye markings down its back, & an eye in its mouth.*
