Thiera: I don't know. I feel like he wouldn't have asked us to come down to the bottom of the dungeon if he wanted to make it easy on us.

Euryale: It doesn't matter what he wants. Rules are rules.

Thiera: Only so long as you follow them.

Euryale: You think he might be a hacker?!

*Thiera shrugs.*

Thiera: Or maybe HE plans to follow US? I can't really say. I'm just thinking out loud.

"All true I guess," Noct admitted, "I'd prefer we not have to deal with a hacker though."

"Why?" Mortal asked.

"From what I hear they mess up the game, and we're dealing with something that is already outside of the game's boundaries. I'd hate it if someone worsened the situation."

*Monudon exits the room*

Aroma: What is everyone talking about?

*Chest, skeleton, one exit.*

*Monudon checks both*

"Someone said they had information that might help us understand more about the area you were talking about," Noct said, "We were wondering what kind of guy he was, and how he might act."

Aroma: He sounds pretty helpful. And nice.

Euryale: He also said he wouldn't do it for free.

Aroma: I guess that's fair.

*He obtains a Recovery Drink & a scroll of The Fool.*

"We'll see just how fair his terms are when we get there," Noct said.

*Monudon walks out the exit*

*This room has a skeleton, a north exit, & a south exit.*

*The next cavern is a small one with a chest in the center. There is an exit on each side, including the side they just came through.*

Mortal checks the chest.

"Be careful, it could be a Mimic," Noct warned.

*Monudon opens the skeleton, then heads for north exit*

Euryale: Don't those usually only come out of Magic Portals?

*As a matter of fact, the chest contains a Recovery Drink.*

B2:

*The next room has about a dozen skeletons in it, with a treasure chest in the center.*

Noct nodded, "Usually, but not all the time."

"Well, I'm fine," Mortal said.

"Good, lets get going," Noct taking the straight exit.

*Monudon checks the chest and skeletons*

*The next cavern is a cross-shaped room with an exit at each tend, including the southern exit they just came from. There is a Magic Portal at the center, but it just deposits a Treasure Chest.*

*For his trouble, Monudon is awarded with 2 Recovery Drinks, an Antidote, 3 Restoratives, & a scroll of The Fool.*

Mortal goes for it again. Noct doesn't think she has to warn her twice about the dangers of Mimics, so she lets her open it without much trouble.

Hector slashed at the closest flower.

*The Death.*

Thiera: I think the exit is north.

Luna: Why?

Thiera: Well...the dungeon has had bilateral symmetry so far.

*The flower, in critical, starts to run away. The other flower bites him while the third rushes towards him.*

"If you think you've got it figured out then you should be our guide," Noct said, walking towards the north exit.

Hector stabbed the flower which bit him and quickly retracted his blade to ready for another slash.

*The flowers continue biting at him, with the third charging a spell.*

*The next room just so happens to be the descending staircase.*

"Good call, Thiera," Noct said, walking down the stairs.

Hector dropped another downward slash down on an attacking flower's head.

*The flower turns gray. As it begins to dissolve, the other jerks & bites into his torso. The one in the back then fires pulses of electric gas at him.*

*Thiera smiles, glad that Noctis wasn't putting her down. The next room after the ascending staircase has 2 skeletons & 2 exits, left & right.*

Thiera: Hmm...if my bilateral symmetry theory holds true, then it shouldn't matter which exit we take.
