*Monudon attacks again*

Euryale: Wait...what?

*The next room is a descending staircase.*

*The crab raises its claws & begins charging its spell.*

"It is a saying," Noct said, "If you rely on skill you might mess up. If you're lucky, things just work out. I'd rather be really lucky. Basically I'm saying I'm fine trusting Thiera on the basis of luck." Noct walked down the stairs.

*Monudon attacks again, trying to kill the crab before the spell is fully charged*

Euryale: But...if you rely on skill, you have some idea of what you can do. Luck can go bad whenever, it isn't reliable.

*Thiera shrugs.*

Thiera: It's probably best not to think about it too hard.

*The next room after the staircase up to B3 is a large, circular room with a deep pit in the center. Pillars topped with torches of blue fire light the 4 "corners" of the room, revealing a Bear Cat Egg, 2 skeletons, & a treasure chest. There's a north, west, & east exit.*

*He is just barely successful. As the crab fades, it leaves behind a treasure chest.*

*Monudon opens the chest*

Noct nodded, "Thiera's got the right idea."

Sab gets the Egg, Mortal goes for the rest.

*The chest contains The Moon, the skeletons contain a Recovery Drink & a Restorative.*

Euryale: Should we still go north?

*The chest contains a Permafrost scroll.*

Noct looks around, waiting for someone to reach a consensus on the matter.

*Monudon exits the room*

Luna: Let's go.

*She walks around the pit, heading north.*

*The top left room contains a dozen skeletons & a treasure chest.*

*Monudon checks the skeletons and the chest*

Noct follows along after Luna.

*When Luna & Noctis enter the door, Thiera disappears in a shallow of blue sparkles as a boulder slams over it.*

Euryale: Damn Magic Portals.

*The next room is a small, dead-end corridor. The Magic Portal at the end opens, & a golem begins stomping towards them.*

*Recovery Drink, 2 Antidotes, 1 Restorative, & a scroll of The Death.*

*Monudon exits the room*

Noct quadruple slashes at it, ending with a water augmented kick.

Sab begins to run into a wall, and keeps running even though she isn't going anywhere.

Hector took the scroll and then looked around.

*It continues to be a field. Hector gets a Flash Mail from Zalera, requesting to form a party at Mac Anu.*

*Thiera uses Rue Rom on it. Luna slashes it in a cross, then slasshes sideways. With all of these attacks, the golem turns monochrome before it can get off a single attack. Its body parts teeter, & fall towards Luna.*

*Monudon is back in the room he just came from.*

"Look out," Noctis called.

Mortal shook her head, "She is getting something IRL. I guess she put the controller down funny."

Sab stopped running, and moved back to the group, "So, what I miss?"

Hector Gated Out to Dun Loriag, and then traveled to Mac Anu.

*Luna holds up her spear & spins it to deflect the things falling away from her away. Soon after they hit the ground, they fade away, opening the door back through. The rest of the group comes through.*

Euryale: Not much, really. But you might want to be more careful with your controller. You could have run straight into a Magic Portal.

*Zalera is standing by the Chaos Gate.*

Zalera: Hey.

"I noticed when I got back what I did," Sab said, "Bit embarrassing."

Noct shook her head and began walking towards the exit, "This wasn't the right way."

"Hello again," Hector said.

Euryale: Alright, then.

*They turn around & head to the previous room.*

Euryale: So, East or West?
