Euryale: I guess we COULD leave it behind. We'd have to hack through the barricade into the next room, & tell it to stay here. Of course, it will still be here when we get back.

*The monster begins slowly flickering from pink to normal coloration.*

Euryale: And we'd have to do all of that quickly.

*The next room is vaguely u-shaped, with most of the ground falling away into a deep pit. Hanging from the pit are humanoid skeletons in gibbets. They appear to be screaming at a Magic Portal that produces a giant crab.*

Mortal looks at her HUD, and checks out her level, "I kinda want the exp..."

Hector jumped away from the healthy flower before rushing it and slashing down towards it's head.

*The flower dies, but the other one is chasing him.*

Aroma: All things in The World are blessed.

"That doesn't stop me from being able to hunt," Mortal said, "Bibles quotes aren't really going to save it since God was all about man killin' things."

Noct let out a sigh, and began to make her way over to the exit, "I'm leaving."

"But, come on, you know this is dumb," Mortal said.

"Don't care; still going."

Mortal grumbled a bit, and opened up the chest before heading after Noct.

Hector slashed the remaining flower horizontally.

*This one leaves behind a treasure chest as it dissolves.*

*Unfortunately, they've taken so much time that the shark is now back to normal. The first thing it does is bite Aroma repeatedly.*

Aroma: Heehee. That tickles.

*The treasure chest contained a Jungle Rage.*

Noct quadruple slashes the Shark. Mortal looks peeved that she lost out on the exp.

*Monudon charges the crab, stabbing at its chest*

*It's a crab, it doesn't have a chest, it hits him with its claw.*

*Well, the shark isn't dead yet. It desperately tries to swim away from Noctis.*

*Monudon attempts to block*

Mortal chases it down and slashed it twice.

*The block is successful. The crab tries to grab his spear with its other claw.*

*The shark sinks to the ground & fades away. Aroma frowns.*

Aroma: Why did you kill it?

*Monudon tries to yank his spear away from the crab*

"It was bad!" Mortal said, "I, I mean, I could look it up in the rule book!"

"You bought the game used, you don't have a rule book."

"Dammit..."

Noct shook her head, and let out a sigh, "Either way, there is no changing what is done. Lets just keep on going..."

*The crab then snips at the side the spear isn't on, with its other claw.*

*Thiera pats Aroma on the back.*

Thiera: Aroma, we have to defeat the monsters down here. They're trying to keep us out of the Gott Statue, which is where Wiseman is.

Aroma: Couldn't you just go around?

Euryale: Like I said earlier, it is possible to hack through the barriers that the Dungeon sets up during a monster attack, but it takes time, & the monsters can still follow you.

*Monudon spins around to block the claw*

Noct is leaving the room, and Mortal doesn't want to talk about it anymore.

*Successful block is successful.*

*Everyone else simply follows along in silence. The next room is a small cavern with an exit on the other end. It also contains 2 skeletons & a treasure chest.*

*Monudon stabs at the crab's body*

Mortal gets everything as Noct walks passed it all to the exit.

*It groans, & waves its claws, charging a spell.*

*The Lovers, Restorative. The next room is a t-shaped room with a chest & a Magic Portal. There is a left exit, & a north exit, with the group coming in through the right. The Magic Portal opens, releasing a Risky Treasure.*

Aroma: So...it's okay to kill things to get what you want?

Thiera: What? No, but this is different. This is something we have to do. Because...someone, help me out, here!

"It is okay to defend yourself against things that mean you harm," Noct said. She then looked at Thiera, "So, which way?" She also gave Euryale a glance, just in case she had an idea as well.

Mortal used a Fortune Wire on the chest.

Hector opened the chest.

*The chest contains a Jungle Rage scroll.*

*The chest throws off gold sparks, fading from blue to the normal beige.*

Euryale: Thiera said north. She's been right so far. Well...more-or-less.

Thiera: I'm just...lucky, I guess.
