*Senthose just smirks at Jeanne.*

E"Well, I'll be glad to talk to your Chief. How far are we, anyway?"

*Being bored walking silently, Namond heads over to Marcus and Rygar*

Namond:<Don't you think it's kinda odd that the passage to the Skeleton isn't blocked or anything?>

"Politics? This place is already feeling like home. All that's missing is the back stabbing" Levin says in an utterly deadpan tone.

Ka-Lite pointed to the end of the hall, where a small light could be seen, "Not too much longer."

~Kobold Settlement~

The party finds itself in a large, circular room with a domed roof, the top of which was opened to the night sky with an oculus. The room was easily a half acre comprised almost entirely of small, shack-like structures, and a few tents. Ka-Lite pointed to the center of the shanty town, where the moonlight from the oculus was illuminating a small throne, where a black Kobold sat, wearing quite a dignified looking headdress. "That is Chief, will see if Ka-Lite can get Chief to talk to you. Um... wait here in mean time, perhaps barter," At 'barter' he gestured to a few Kobolds lining what could be considered the main road, presiding over piles of... stuff. Then he was off, walking towards the chief.

Namond:<Wow. Where'd you get all this stuff?>

*Namond goes over to check out the closest pile*

Levin does as well.

*Senthose ignores these things, but Euryale figures she might as well go see if there's any monk stuff.*

*Marcus stays, watching the Kobold talk to the Chief.*

*Rygar's dwarven instincts kick in and he heads to some of the piles looking for a good deal.*

A small red kobold looks up at Namond and shakes his head, "I... found it..." The pile itself in an eclectic assortment of shinny baubles, a weapon or two, food, and liquids in glass bottles.

"Is there anything useful in it? Like healing potions and salves?"

The kobold shrugged, "Maybe. Have potion, you want trade?"

*Rygar looks over the pile.*

Rygar: "Careful, I'm willing to bet they're more cunning than they put off."

Namond:<Then you're really good at finding stuff.>

*Namond just continues to look*

"I best at finding things," The kobold said, holding up a small, shiny, metal scrap, likely the tip of a sword. "You trade, or no?"

*Euryale walks back to where Senthose is, looking disappointed.*

E"There's no monk stuff."

S"I cannot hide the depth of my own disbelief."

"What else is in there?"

Namond:<Nah, I'm good on sharp metal objects, unless you have any crossbow blots.>

The Kobold just shrugged, then gestured to the pile, "I no look. You look for what you want. See if there."

Namond does see a small quiver of about 10 bolts. The quiver is beyond hope, but the bolts themselves seem in good enough shape.

Namond:<What exactly would you want in trade for the bolts?>

Levin shrugs and starts looking for something in the pile that catches his eye.

The kobold leans forward, "What do you have?"

Levin spots a glimmering red object in the pile.

Namond:<Well, stuff. Is there anything particular you're interested in?>

"I interested in all stuff, what stuff you got?"

Levin pulls the gleaming object out. "What DO I have here?"

"Stuff," The Kobold gives as an answer to Levin's question, "You trade for other stuff?"
