Mimiru: Oh...okay.

*Mimiru stands there, confused.*

*Monudon shrugs and just follows along with everyone*

And so everyone left Mimiru confused.

*Arriving at the kite area, they find only a small Twin Blade girl with a sleeveless, short-legged pink dress & comically squinted eyes sitting on a rock, & a helmeted Wavemaster in scarlet robes flying a kite at the other end. On the ground in the middle of the area is a broken kite.*

Noct heads over to the broken kite.

*Assuming Noctis tries to pick it up or something, it dissolves into gold orbs of light. Shortly thereafter, her screen is hijacked by a video file of an old man floating upside-down in a void speaking. He seems to be sitting, & there are some form of giant red claws pushing against his chest.*

<I love you. I wanted to...leave behind my feelings for you...in a tangible form, forever. She is your...she is my...the proof that you were alive...the proof that I really loved you...I wanted them to be...tangible.>

*He suddenly looks directly at the screen with blank, emotionless eyes.*

<But you cannot become my Aura. You are a failure.>

*After whatever that was passes, Noctis is returned to the game. She gets a notice that she "Obtained Key Item: R." Her chat log indicates that Euryale & Thiera have tried to get her attention a few times, asking her if something was the matter.*

*Monudon looks confused*

<Are you alright?>

"I'm fine, I just got... a very creepy cutscene, I guess. And an item," Noct said, checking her inventory to figure out what it was she got.

*Selecting the item causes the video to play again. So, naturally, she comes back to the same reaction. Only this time, the Twin Blade has stood up & come over.*

A-20: I didn't know you could pick up that kite. I thought it was just for decoration. But where did it go? Is it part of some kind of quest?

"The item just takes me back to the cutscene-- I'm sorry, who are you?" Noct looked at... uh, A-20?

[Cut Scene? Maybe it's part of a quest then.]

*Monudon waits quietly*

A-20: A-20. Heeey, do you know what you're gonna get for it? Do you think there might be a Golden Grunty involved?

"I doubt it," Noct said. "Seems pretty low level actually, I doubt the reward will be that great."

Noct whispers what the cutscene was to Euryale, Mortal, Thiera, Sab, and Zalera.

*Monudon stands quietly, waiting for the group to decide to do something*

A-20: Oh. Okay then.

*A-20 turns to head back to where she was sitting. Euryale, Thiera, & Zalera all just look at each other & shrug.*

Zalera: There might be more items that we can find to make sense of this.

*Not having been alerted to what the cut scene said, Monudon still looks rather confused*

<(You sure it's nothing important?)>

Hector stood quietly next to Monudon.

Mortal let out a sigh, and clued in Monudon.

*Meanwhile, the others just start walking around the kite area. At one point, Thiera & Euryale grab, & release, kites.*

Do their hands touch as the reach for the same kite?

No, they are at opposite ends of the area, now make a real post.

*Monudon then clues in Hector so he's not the only one left out of the loop*

Lame. Mortab does the same as Euryale and Thiera. Noct asks, "Why do you think the item is called 'R'? That seems like a weird name."

Zalera: I don't know, but there aren't any more down here.

Euryale: What are we going to do? Search the whole City?

Zalera: They might not even be confined to this city. If there are any more, that is.

*Euryale sighs.*
