*That ghost is proving very difficult to put down. It's at half health when Euryale realizes they're supposed to be attacking the same enemy, & joins in. The two in the back then drop skulls on the Heavy Blade duo.*

"That... I...," Noct face palmed, "Fine, lets leave then. Not sure what we're going to do around the dungeon, but I don't want to upset anyone."

No one said that their health was low, so Sab uses a Juk Rom, and Mortal repeats her attack as well.

Monudon:<Yes, two Spirit Ocarinas please.>

*They have now killed one ghost. As it vanishes, the rest dive in for a bite.*

Thiera: It's also one of the few noteworthy land marks on a field.

Noct gestured towards the exit, before walking over towards it, "Well, lets go then."

Mortal dive rolls again. Sab uses another Juk Rom, aiming at the ghost Euryale was attacking previously.

*One of the ghosts manages to drift away from the others, outside of the Juk Rom's range. Mortal is not so lucky this time, & gets bit on the shoulder. Euryale is bit more directly, being reduced to half health. Euryale stabs it in retaliation. The ghost that drifted away moves towards Mortal.*

*Now outside, Thiera & Luna look around, to see if they can spy any more Magic Portals. Thiera squints off into the distance.*

Thiera: I think that the others are fighting on that hill.

*The scroll shop is on the same land mass as the item shop, tucked around on the other end. Between them is a small space with some stacked crates, rugs, & bottles. A couple of people could sit comfortably here, with some privacy.*

Sab uses a La Repth, and Mortal slashes at the ghost Euryale is attacking.

*Monudon continues to walk, waving to anyone he sees*

Thiera: Well, yes, but I just thought they might need help. The three of us were already lower in level than you two when we started.

*Hector reappeared in Dun Loireag. Also near the Chaos Gate is a young male Wavemaster with blue robes & a matching, squarish hat. His staff is a metal rod ending in a seashell curved around a fist-sized blue pearl with trailing red ribbons.*

Orca: Excuse me, young sir, but if you don't mind my asking, is your name Tsukasa, by any chance?

*The Wavemaster turns in the direction of the voice. Walking up the bridge is a thick-bodied male Blademaster wearing little more than a kilt. Most of his upper body is painted blue & his brown hair is slicked back.*

Elk: Umm...no. I'm sorry, but...I don't even know who that is. I just started this game today.

Orca: I see. No, it was my mistake. Is there anything that you could use help with?

*Monudon goes over and talks to the shopkeeper*

Monudon:<Hello.>

*Azena logs in, after a while away from the game, near the Chaos Gate.*

Azena: "Well, this is nice... wonder where the heck I left off."

*Azena looks around the area to try and refresh his memory and see if anything has changed.*

*From what he can see, Mac Anu looks the same as ever. Granted, that vantage point accounts for a walkway, the Recorder, & half of a bridge. There is no one else in this space.*

Hector watched the scene with a mild interest, also thinking of what he might like to be doing.

Shopkeeper: That will be 1000 GP. Are you sure?

*Orca shifts his weight onto his back leg, folding his arms & looking serious.*

Orca: What a coincidence. I actually share that same interest.

"Good point," Noct said as she began to run over to help the trio.

Mortal doesn't dodge since she can't see behind her, and continues to attack the weak ghost. Sab uses a Juk Rom on the ghost that just bit Mortal.

"Curiouser and curiouser, I share the same interest," Hector lied, approaching the pair.

*The Books appear in Monudon's inventory as 1000 GP disappear.*

Shopkeeper: Is there anything else I can do for you?

*Luna keeps pace a few steps behind Noctis. Once again, Thiera is lagging behind. Nearby, Mortal is bitten by a ghost that takes a chunk of her SP, as well as her HP. As a torrent of leaves bursts out from under it, it turns to move towards Sab. Euryale is too busy hacking at a ghost, until it finally dies & leaves behind a Treasure Chest, to notice.*

*Elk & Orca turn to him.*

Orca: I suppose we could form a party to search for the cat-player-character.

*Elk turns back to Orca.*

Elk: Do you know where he is?

Orca: I'm afraid not. But he is often seen around a Wavemaster named Tsukasa. And there are a few places where Tsukasa is often seen. This town, for example. He might also be at Delta Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground.

Noct attacks the Ghost Sab attacked with a Rue Rom, Mortal turns and retaliates with another slash, Sab uses another Juk Rom.

"Perhaps we should go there?" Hector suggested.

Orca: It couldn't hurt. Monsters don't spawn there.

Elk: Umm...if there are no monsters, then...do we really need a party?

Orca: Hmm...I suppose not, if you don't want to give out your Member Address. Either way, we do have to head over to the Delta Server.

*Euryale turns, slashing the ghost. Luna also stabs. All together, they bring it down. Meanwhile, the remaining ghost drops a skull onto the fray, which shatters into bones & shadows, damaging all of the melee fighters, except for Noctis.*
