*They Gate Out back to Dun Loireag.*

Thiera: There's nothing on the Message Boards. I already checked.

*She joins them.*

<Dang. Well ask the recorder then?>

Noct, Mortal and Sab follow along after them.

Recorder: I've heard of a castle in an earth field that is around the level you're looking for. The first keyword is "Chosen," but I don't remember the rest.

Euryale: Do you know who can tell us the other 2?

Recorder: I think one of the shops probably would.

<To the shops!>

*Monudon heads over to the nearest shopkeeper*

<Do you know any fields with keywords starting with "Chosen"?>

Noct heads off to another shop, and asks if they know of an area around the level they're looking for that begins with 'Chosen'.

*The man at the Item Shop tells Monu that he can tell him a portion of the Keyword if he delivers a potion to the Magic Shop, while the man at the Magic Shop tells Noctis that he can give her another if she delivers a special scroll to the Item Shop. After some tedium, they end up with the Keyword (-) Chosen Hopeless Nothingness, a Level 27 Earth Field.*

<Well, we got the keywords. What's our party arrangement going to be?>

Noct and Mortab group up and head out.

Hector waited by Monu's side for decisions to be made.

*Euryale looks at Thiera & Zalera.*

Euryale: Wanna team up?

*And so they make a party.*

*They arrive in a field true to its name: Full of barren, scarred soil. It's pitch black, the only light being faint orange & blue fireflies that occasionally zip by. And, of course, the soft, shimmering glow from the 4 swirling Magic Portals just a few yards in any diagonal direction.*

"Lets get going," Noct said.

"Shouldn't we wait for the others?" Sab asked.

When Euryale and friends appear Noct says, "They're here. Lets go."

*Monudon looks at Hector*

<Wanna team up?>

Euryale: Go where, exactly?

"To kill monsters, and get exp," Noct said.

"Sure," Hector nodded. "But first I'm going to ask the Recorder a question."

Euryale: Ah. Which Magic Portal do you want to target, then?

"Doesn't matter," Noct said, "Lets try getting through them all so we can level up. Don't really care which one we go to first."

*Monudon exchanges member addresses with Hector, then forms a party*

*Monudon gates out to the field*

*Monudon shows up in the middle of the field while the others are running off towards a Magic Portal. It shimmers, throwing off sparks, & finally contorts & vanishes. The tempo of the music increases as 2 Mu Guardians & a Menhir, a strange grinning statue holding an orb, emerge onto the field.*

*Monudon yells at the figures*

Hector followed after Monudon and unsheathed his cutlass.

Noct double slashes one of the Guardians, and Mortal slashes the same one. Sab uses a Juk Rom on the Menhir.
