Hector began running around to one side of the ogre, trying to get behind it. Once behind he would slash at it.

Noct dive rolls to the side.

Mortal slashes down on it with a flaming greatsword, and Sab casts Juk Rom, hoping that her SP recovered a bit.

*The Ogre sees everyone running towards it & slams his hammer down on Luna. Her health gauge turns red & her character model limps. Thiera hangs back from the rest of the group & edges closer to her to cast Repth.*

"I think the 'avoid the hammer' is a really good piece of advice," Mortal said, slashing at the ogre again. Noct also slashes at the ogre about 12, quick times before ending with a spinning kick.

*Monudon runs up and repeatedly stabs at the ogre*

Luna: It is the fault of my low level.

*She attempts to pin its hammer to the ground with her spear, but the ogre jerks it upward, sending her sprawling. The Repth heals her a few seconds later. Zalera also gives it a twelve-strike attack, ending by turning his blades into claws & punching into it with both hands. As it's getting its ass kicked, the ogre once again begins stomping up the hill.*

Noct uses a Mage's Soul on Sab, who in turn uses that SP to cast Repth on Luna as well. Mortal attacks again, this time with a spinning slash that hits four times.

*The color drains from the ogre's body as it falls. As the body breaks down, it leaves behind a Risky Treasure.*

Mortal goes and tries to open it.

*A yellow gas spews out, causing Mortal to slump over & fall asleep, white "z's" emerging from her head. Luna walks over in front of her & waves her spear in her face, a tingling noise restoring the effect. Once Mortal has been cured, Luna gets up in her face & stares her down.*

Luna: ...

Luna: ......

Luna: .........Don't do that.

*After Luna has moved into position, they can hear, but not see, a Magic Portal opening.*

*Monudon looks in the direction the noise came from*

"But I got a fortune wire," Mortal said, confused.

Noct goes to see where the monsters were coming from.

*Suddenly a Snip Snap, a Mu Guardian, & a Menhir all spill over the hill, going in very different directions. The Snip-Snap heads straight for Monudon & Noctis. When Euryale sees the Mu Guardian heading past them & heading for her & the Wavemasters, she draws her sword & runs up to meet it. The Menhir just keeps stomping around the hill. Luna & Zalera each block a claw attack from the Snip Snap.*

*Monudon runs behind and repeatedly stabs at the Snip-Snap*

Noct attacks in a flurry of 10 slashes, and 2 kicks. Mortal slashes at the Mu Guardian, and Sab casts a Bi Juk Rom on it.

*The Snip Snap raises its claws & releases a white breath attack in Noctis's direction. Meanwhile, the Mu Guardian does its best to ignore the massive damage it's taking, & the 2 Heavy Blades hacking at it, & raises its arms, causing rock spikes to burst upwards underneath Thiera & Sab, removing about 40% of their HP.*

Mortal and Sab repeat their attacks because the Guardian was being rude.

Noct dive rolls out of the way, away from the rest of the party, hoping she wouldn't draw them into the line of fire of the attack.

*Monudon casts Rai Kruz on the Snip-Snap*

Hector ran at the uncontested Menhir, unleashing a series of slashes at it.

*The Mu Guardian dies. The Snip Snap, not faring too well, does choose to follow Noctis. Luna & Zalera keep hacking away at its back. The Menhir rises up higher than usual, & slams down on Hector. Thiera uses Repth on herself & Sab.*

Assuming the breath attack is still a thing that is happening Noct dives out of the way again. Mortal rushes over to the Menhir and attacks with her spinning four hit slash again. Sab also casts a Bi Juk Rom on the Menhir.

*Monudon repeatedly stabs at the Snip-Snap*

*The Snip Snap twitches & falls to the ground, drained of color. Sab finds that the Menhir has stomped outside of her range & Mortal is still trying to catch up with it. It starts to head back over the hill. Meanwhile, Aroma is chasing fireflies, & catching them with her hands.*

Sab moves up and casts the spell when she is within range. Mortal uses her attack when she catches up, and Noct begins to head after the Menhir as well, double slashing at it when she is close.
