Added a few spoilers to the OP. One with a bit more information about the city, the other being about organized crime in the city.

I am still unclear about the technology.

And why is there no Irish mob?

Technology in comics is incredibly inconsistent.

Figure I'll just yay or nay gadgetry. Telepoter dohikies are fine, a mobile Death Star is not.

I'll tell you exactly why that doesn't work.

You remember how you said you'd nay a disintegration ray, but okay a teleporter?

What happens when I get a bunch of tiny teleporter beams & graft them together onto a gun?

I now have a gun that teleports different parts of your body to different areas in space.

In other words, a disintegration ray.

Incredibly stupid and impractical.

How is it impractical? It's not like you have a greater theory of teleportation technology that invalidates it.

Jesus Christ, it was like everyone was like, "Superheroes! Time to break out my 'How to be OP' handbook!"

Superheroes are suddenly an excuse to have stupid broke characters.

I have a legitimate excuse:

I planned to do that before it was cool.

Also, I don't plan to break the RP by just being so stupidly overpowered that nothing can touch me, I plan to break it by creating a specific, limited ability, & then exploiting the Hell out of it.

Meh, whev. I'll try to set my characters apart a bit when it gets to that point.

And creating an out to it is not at all difficult.

Since this started I've always been on a Green Arrow/Blade character. I'm sitting here reading this OPed crap thinking I might not join if that ends up being the case.

I'm not going to pretend that comic book characters by nature aren't OP, but some self restraint might be nice. Then again, you're not one to complain. I made a race in ME that was meant to be a bunch of sheep who literally get a work out by being on a planet that isn't theirs and the second one to join was all, "Lol, gonna kick down a blast door now."

That aside, I'd join either way. I like the idea of a superhero RP.

Hey, you never said you had a problem with it and like you said it was your race. I can nerf the crap out of him if you'd like me to. I think it would be kind of funny now that I think about it.

I simply made the race, it wasn't my right to tell you how to run the RP, nor who to accept. That said, I could care less. I don't see my characters having to ever actually kill Gazelle, so it'll never be my problem.

Just saying, a little late to voice the concern. Though I could just assume he had some kind of genetic enhancement that eventually wears off. But, yeah, I should have looked over it more. Basically, I got sheep people out of it and that's what I rolled with. Sorry about that, mate.

Nothing to be sorry about, and it isn't a true concern. As I said, never going to be my problem.

They really are an interesting race. Once we get off that fucking rock, I hope you take full advantage of the more sandbox style path the RP will take and show me what the Ovisians are all about.

Exactly! Yep, that's why I accepted it...not because I didn't fully read the Ovisian profile...yep...

That wouldn't make him stronger, it would just give him all of the symptoms of extreme obesity.
