Old Ones Return

*Kylie wakes up to her father playing the news, as her mother had already left for work*

<Huh?! What's going on?>

*Lunamon, who's sitting on a pile of stuffed animals, grabs her arm*

Lunamon:<There was a gas explosion and flood in Ikebukuro.>

*Kylie looks startled and shakes her head, then heads into a the kitchen to grab a bit of breakfast*

Hitomi's parents not being home and therefore not playing the news did not hear it. Taiyo wakes up and falls out of bed.

Taiyo: "Same as every morning..."

OOC: God damn post must have been eaten when my internet went Full Retard.

*An hour or so later, nothing of note has occurred.*

Taiyo knocks on Hitomi's door, the latter answering still in her pajamas having just woke up.

Taiyo: "Good morning!"

Hitomi: "Hello."

Salamon comes out and immedietley runs back into Hitomi's bedroom shouting "Mine!"

Taiyo: "I didn't even come to cuddle Yuki, but if she insists..."

Hitomi moves out of the way to let Taiyo in who runs after Salamon.

*Kylie wanders out the nearest coffee shop, holding Lunamon*

Lunamon:<(We should do that more often.)>

Kylie:<(Only if you're paying.)>

Lunamon:<(If was what, 600 yen? Cheap.)>

Kylie:<(Whatever.)>

*The pair wander back towards Kylie's house*

*While they're passing through the alley beside the coffee shop, a teenager with black hair, long in the front, & a similarly black trenchcoat follows them. From the other side of the dumpster, a [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] appears, cornering them.*

*Nothing unusual is happening near Hitomi's place.*

*Kylie stops, holding Lunamon in one hand*

*Lunamon remains stone still, pretending to be a stuffed animal*

Hitomi lets Renamon in through her window while Salamon and Taiyo chase each other around the room.

Salamon: "Renamon, control your partner!"

Renamon just lets out an exasperated sigh.

*Speaking of the window, through it, Thiera & Demi Devimon can be seen in the same positions at the park they were in last night, with Calamon doing cartwheels nearby.*

Tamer<Nah. Don't think I will.>

*The clam opens up slightly & blasts Kylie with high-pressure water.*

Taiyo: "It's your new friend! We should go to the park."

Salamon: "Yes. Take her and leave her."

*Lunamon jumps out of Kylie's arms and fires Tear Shot in response*

Lunamon:<Come on Kylie, let's just get this over with.>

*Kylie says nothing, but takes out her cards*

*The 2 attacks intersect & cancel each other out.*

Tamer<Alright, then. Let's see what ya got.>

*He flips his hair.*

Kylie:<I'd honestly rather not do this, but I suppose you're going to attack us anyway.>

*Lunamon doesn't attack again, but keeps her eyes fixed on Syakomon*

After Hitomi gets dressed, they go to the park.

*On their way, they happen upon the scene in the alley.*

Tamer<So you're not gonna make the first move? Fine.>

*He pulls out a black D-Power & slashes a card through it. A female voice says, "Digivolution" as the Syakomon is surrounded by a dark blue aura. The aura breaks apart at the bottom, a mass of tentacles pulling the rest of it apart to reveal Octomon. Octomon immediately lashes out towards Lunamon with one of its claws, in a spearhead configuration.*

*Kylie also slashes her digivolution card,and Lunamon is surrounded by light purple light, eventually reveling Lekismon, who immediately jumps into the air and fires Tear Arrow at Octomon*

Lekismon:<If you insist!>

*Kylie waves when she sees the others*

Kylie:<He's another one like the tamers we fought yesterday. Why do I attract them?>

Salamon: "This is the worst week ever!"

Taiyo: "She was at the park, yesterday. Shouldn't we help her?"

Renamon already leapt into action coming down a rooftop, unleashing a Diamond Storm on Octomon

*The Tamer swipes a Hyperspeed, allowing Octomon to swing his sword & claws around, deflecting all of the diamonds. It fires an ink bolt to counter the Tear Arrow.*

Taiyo swipes the Aero Wing card. Salamon moves in and attacks Octomon with a Puppy Howling while Renamon uses Aero Wing.

*Kylie slashes her Speed Plug In, while Lekismon jumps to the side and uses another Tear Arrow*

*Puppy Howling doesn't do much of anything to Octomon, who grabs the Tear Arrow in one of its claws & tosses it aside, putting a large crack in the nearby wall. The Razor Wing proves much more difficult to block, putting a gash in its sword-armed tentacle & ripping off one of its unarmed ones, both wounds exposing gridlines.*

Tamer<New plan. Octomon!>

*Octomon quickly slithers behind Kylie, surrounding her. One of its clawed tentacles wraps around her, & poises at her neck. The Tamer grins.*

Tamer<Now why don't you try all of your fancy attacks?>

*Kylie attempts to struggle*

Kylie:<Murdering someone in broad daylight?>

*Lekismon lands on the ground, snarling. Even as furious as she is, Lekismon has enough control not to attack and put Kylie in anymore danger. She steps towards Octomon, her voice shriving with rage*

Lekismon:<I was going to let you off, but now you're so dead it's not even funny.>

Salamon charges Octomon's Tamer while Renamon goes after Octomon, blue flames surrounding her hands.

*The Tamer kicks Salamon in the face.*

Octomon<Bad move!>

*As Octomon goes in for the kill, Euryale somehow drops out of the fucking sky, landing hard on one of its tentacles with a sickening splurch. She then grabs the tentacle aimed at Kylie's neck with one hand, & with the other, reaches back & punches Octomon right in the eye. A small piece of its helmet breaks off & it's forced to close its bruised eyeball. Anyone who looks to see where Euryale came from will see Agumon flying overhead.*

*Lekismon jumps on Octomon, using Tear Arrow repeatedly at close range, while also kicking and punches. Kylie attempts to escape again*
