Old Ones Return

Salamon gets right back up hits the kid with a Puppy Howling. Renamon turns around to aid Salamon.

*The Tamer kicks Salamon again when she opens her mouth to emit the sound, laughing as he does. He stops laughing when he looks up to see an angry fox-person chasing him, then turns to run away.*

E"Are you crazy?!"

*Euryale places her foot on Octomon's head & grabs the base of the tentacle she's holding with her other hand. Pulling as hard as she can, she rips it clean off, & it reverts to data. She & Kylie are then able to scramble away before some asshole hits them with stray attacks. Octomon is prevented from pursuing them because it's being pelted with so many attacks. Most of its mask breaks off, along with one of its horns, & its wounded tentacle. It reaches out desperately for Lekismon's neck with its open, scissor-like claws.*

Not hard to see that Renamon will catch up with him without issue and when she does, she grabs him by collar and gets him in a similar position Octomon had Kylie substituting tentacle claws for fox claws.

Renamon: "Call it off!"

*Lekismon jumps over Octomon, then continues using Tear Arrow along with physical attacks. By this point, she's lusting for Octomon's blood, and isn't really paying attention to anything but murdering him. Some distance away, Kylie scrambles to her feet*

Tamer<Octomon, help!>

*Octomon proves to be a good marksman & shoots Renamon right in the face, even as he's dissolving into data. Now freed, the kid runs out of the alley. Euryale sprints after him, but stops when he starts shouting in the street about crazy people with exotic animals attacking him. Seeing his D-Power lying abandoned, she stomps on it & pushes down until it breaks. The cards he used are also lying nearby.*

*Kylie runs over to Lekismon*

Kylie:<Are you alr->

Lekismon:<I can't believe I nearly let you get killed! This is all my fault.>

*Lekismon picks up Kylie, and hugs her tightly. She then turns to Euryale*

Lekismon:<I..I don't even have words to express my gratitude. We are in your debt.>

Kylie:<Yeah, I would have been killed if you didn't show up. All of you.>

*Kylie smiles at everyone, but it's still clear that she's kinda freaked out*

Taiyo hurries over to Renamon. Hitomi and Salamon regroup.

Salamon: "I see him again, I'll rip his leg off."

Taiyo: "Are you okay?"

Renamon: "...I'm fine."

Taiyo: "Not this again. Tell the truth."

E"There's no need to thank me. It would have been dishonorable to have done nothing."

*Euryale sighs. Agumon lands nearby, his wings folding & dissipating. He scoops some of the ink off with his claws.*

Agu<No, she looks fine to me. I'm guessing it's not fun to get hit in the face with ink, though.>

Taiyo: "Phew. I guess we can get going to the park then?"

Salamon picks the cards up because fuck that guy.

*Kylie smiles*

Kylie:<Still. Thank you.>

*Kylie wiggles out of Lekismon's arms and jumps down, but stays by Lekismon's side*

Kylie:<Are you going to go see Calumon?>

Hitomi looks down, hiding her face.

Taiyo: "Yep!"

"I was actually on my way over there, to do some exercise."

*Agumon points at Salamon's bruised nose & black eye.*

Agu<Shouldn't someone be on this?>

Salamon snarls at Agumon. Hitomi begins tending to her, taking the cards from her.

Kylie:<Do you need help? I feel bad since this was pretty much my fault.>

*Kylie steps towards Salamon*

Lekismon:<Really? We were just on our way home, but we were thinking of heading down there sometime today.>

*Salamon does not take very long to heal at all.*

Kylie:<So..do you guys wanna head down together? If we're all headed there anyway.....>

Taiyo: "Might as well."

*And so they do, to find Thiera still sitting in that spot below the tree, with DemiDevimon still sleeping in the branch above. Calamon has curled up in Thiera's lap, & is also asleep.*

Taiyo: "Did they ever leave?"

*Kylie runs over to Thirea*

<You didn't stay out here all night did you?>

*Lekismon, assuming she hasn't de-digivolved yet, follows at a distance*

*Calamon wakes up, freaks out, & flies into the tree, bumping into DemiDevimon & knocking her to the ground. She lies there, her wings crumpled underneath her, looking mighty pissed off. Thiera turns around.*

T"What? No. We went for a walk today, & DemiDevimon decided that she wanted to take a nap."

Kylie:<Good, I was worried there for a second. So how are you today?>

*Lekismon looks down at DemiDevimon and Calumon*

Lekismon:<Are you both alright?>

Taiyo: "Owie..."

Salamon: "Now what?"

DD<Peachy.>

Calamon<Scary loud noises!>

*Thiera picks DemiDevimon up.*

DD<So to what do we owe this pleasant surprise?>

E"Well...I was gonna beat on that tree for a while."

Lekismon:<We were just bored.>

*Kylie nods in agreement*
