Old Ones Return

Kylie:<Can you please answer the question? And please don't go home.>

Taiyo: "...Right."

T"Too late."

*Once a taxi finally stops, Thiera gets in.*

E"Then I guess I have no choice. I'll have to ask Hypnos to fix my D-Power."

A<How? By asking for them by name at city hall?>

Taiyo: "Thiera might be able to help."

Kylie:<WAIT! STOP!>

*Kylie sighs*

<Fine, go storm off if you must, but can I have my card back?>

*Thiera digs around in her coat pocket & hands it back.*

E"Maybe...let's head back to the park."

Kylie:<Thanks! Please....please don't hate us.>

Taiyo: "Okay."

*Thiera shuts the door & takes off without a word.*

*They find themselves first back to the park.*

Taiyo sits down on a bench.

Taiyo: "Today sucked."

*Kylie sighs and goes over and grabs Lunamon*

Kylie:<Let's go.>

*Kylie heads off to the bus stop, while Lunamon turns and waves goodbye to DemiDevimon*

*Agumon pats Taiyo on the shoulder.*

A<Hey, relax, it wasn't your D-Power that lost a fight with a 5 story fall.>

*The bus starts to near the park.*

Taiyo: "Doesn't make it any better."

*Kylie leans back in her seat, waiting for the bus to arrive. Lunamon pretends to be a stuffed animal*

*I'm going to assume they got off at the park.*

A<Yes it does, it means it's someone else's problem.>

*Kylie gets off the bus and heads off towards the others*

Taiyo: "Your partner's! You're a jerk."

Taiyo stands up and begins to leave.

A<Yes, it is. So do I help her by being all self-pitying, or storming off?>

*Euryale is leaning against the other side of the tree, not really paying attention to what's going on behind her. She stuffs the broken chunks of D-Power into her pocket.*

Taiyo just plain ol' goes home.

Salamon: "Good talk, everybody."

Hitomi: "Shh."

*When she sees the others, Kylie runs over there*

Kylie:<What happened?>

*Agumon sighs.*

A<Don't worry about it. We should probably go as well.>

*Agumon reverts to Koromon because dinosaurs are extinct & shouldn't be walking around. He then jumps up, wrapping his ears around Euryale's arm.*

A<Come on, we'll find Thiera tomorrow."

E"...Okay."

*Euryale positions Koromon like a backpack, & then sets off.*

*Kylie sighs*

Kylie:<Looks like everyone's gone. Wanna get home?>

Lunamon:<Sure!>

*Kylie and Lunamon also head home*

At home, Taiyo tosses her D-Power and cards in an end table drawer and flops down on the bed.

Renamon: "Do you think it was wise to leave them like that?"

Taiyo: "I don't know. Probably not. But what can I do? It's like Agumon said, it's not my problem. So I shouldn't feel bad, right?"

Renamon: "I'm afraid I don't know."

Hitomi and Salamon being the only one's left just stand there.

Salamon: "I guess we should go home too."

Hitomi: "I guess."

Salamon: "Should we go see Taiyo?"

Hitomi: "That's probably not the best choice. Perhaps tomorrow."

The two set off.

*The next day finds Euryale & Koromon alone at the park, sitting on the bench, both kind of slumped over. Calamon waddles up to her, putting his hand to his chin.*

<Just you today? Oh well. Do you wanna play a game?>

"Not really."

Salamon: "Not like that. No way she'll hear that. You have to knock harder, like thks."

Not having hands, Salamon headbutts the door. It's quite painful, but it gets the desired result. Taiyo answers the door, looking like she just got out of bed.

Salamon: "Ow..."

Taiyo: "Morning."

Hitomi: "Did you...um...want to go to the park today?"

Taiyo: "Not really. I was kinda hoping to just stay home today."

Hitomi: "Oh. Okay then."

Taiyo: "Sorry."

Hitomi: "It's fine."

Taiyo closes the door and Hitomi & Salamon begin to head out.
