Old Ones Return

*Lekismon uses Tear Arrow on Gargoylemon again*

Gatomon claws at the roots.

Gatomon: "I won't lose to a stupid tree."

Renamon skips over Gargoylemon leaving it to Lekismon to group with the others.

*The armor is pretty good, the arrow only putting a football-sized hole in it. The Gargoylemon swings its sickle-hands, hurling black, crescent-shaped blades at Lekismon. Gargoylemon then jumps over Greymon's 2nd tail strike, which knocks the tree over. Once Gatomon manages to free herself, the tree swings its hammer at her.*

*Euryale scrambles away as quickly as she can before that guy gets back up.*

*Lekismon moves to the side and fires Aero Wing at the blades*

Gatomon jumps back, exhaling another Cocytus Breath at Woodmon. Renamon enters the fray, attacking Gabumon with a Diamond Storm.

*The Gabumon, being unconscious, is impaled with Diamonds & destroyed, exploding into a cloud of data. The Tamer looks back, then cups a hand around his mouth to shout to his cohorts.*

<The fox killed Gabumon! Make it pay!>

*Gargoylemon's Tamer realizes that Gargoylemon can't compete while grounded, so he swipes a Hyper Wing. The other Tamer notes that Woodmon is now missing an arm, & swipes another card that makes it grow into a much larger Woodmon, now rivaling Greymon's size. To that end, it smashes part of Greymon's head with its hammer, knocking its horn off, & then stabs into his flank with its roots to begin healing itself. Meanwhile, Euryale stumbles into the clearing, clutching her side & dribbling blood all over the place.*

Gatomon jumps on Woodmon's leg, digging her claws into it to begin climbing up it. Renamon lets out an Aero Wing at the roots.

Taiyo goes running over to Euryale to steady her, clutching a hand to her wounded side.

Taiyo: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Oh god, oh god, oh god."

*Lekismon darts around then uses Tear Arrow in quick succession*

*The Gargoylemon keeps dodging Lekismon's attacks, while moving in closer to Lekismon. Euryale squints at Taiyo, looking confused.*

"Taiyo? When did you get here?"

*Now having a bit more leeway room, Greymon twists around & bellows fire right in Cherrymon's stupid face. It smacks Greymon with its hammer again, pretty much breaking its skull. Greymon is forced to revert back to an unconscious Agumon.*

*Kylie uses her Speed plug in to increase Lekismon's speed, then runs over to Taiyo and Euryale*

<Oh no, oh no...We've got to get help! Is there someplace near by?>

*Lekismon darts around Gargoylemon and uses Aero Wing*

Taiyo: "Doesn't matter, we have to get you out of here."

Hitomi swipes a Hi-Speed Plug-In through her D-Power, Gatomon climbing at a faster rate. Renamon begins climbing Woodmon as well.

*She holds her head with the hand she's not using to hold her side.*

"I can't...Agu...."

*With one arm, Woodmon swings its hammer at Renamon, & with the other, it plucks Gatomon off of its trunk. Gargoylemon tucks its wings back & attacks with its Twin Sickles, aiming for Lekismon's wings. As a result, it is thrown aside, most of its armor broken, before it manages to catch itself.*

Kylie<Then you've got to get down.>

*Kylie takes off her coat, and presses it against Euryale's side to try and stop the bleeding*

Lekismon<We've all got to attack together!>

*Lekismon flies up and to the side, then dives at Gargoylemon, using Tear Arrow then Aero Wing in raid succession*

Renamon jumps off, attacking with Aero Wing. Gatomon uses Cocytus Breath, aiming at Woodmon's face.

*Since I was under the mistaken impression that Renamon was in the air, nothing happens to her. Woodmon reverts to Mushroomon to save himself from having to revert back into data. He & his partner attempt to take off into the forest. Because whatever Lekismon is doing makes no sense at all, Gargoylemon simply dodges to the side & takes a slice at her.*

The two pursue Mushroomon, Gatomon on all fours, exhaling a Cocytus Breath.

*Lekismon counters with Aero Wings*

*Lekismon is too busy getting one of those wings sliced off. Since Gatomon had to fall a couple of stories & THEN chase after Mushroomon, she does nothing of the sort. The Tamers & their Digimon decide to cut their losses, taking off in different directions. As they go, they drop all of the cards they used.*

*Kylie runs over to Lekismon*

Lekismon<Don't worry, I'm alright.>

Kylie<I'm..so glad.>

*Lekismon makes no move to chase the Tamers, and Kylie collects Gargoylemon's Tamer's cards before the pair walk back over to Euryale*

Renamon procures Woodmon's Tamers' cards. Both Digimon make their way to Agumon, Renamon grabbing him by the arms and begins dragging him.

Hitomi goes to join Taiyo and the others, Gatomon following shortly.

"Don't...drag'im...on the...ground...."

*Euryale has become shaky & is looking like she's going to pass out.*

Renamon: "Lekismon! Help carry him."

Taiyo: "Don't pass out!"

*Lekismon returns over to help*

Kylie:<Um...I don't suppose we can call for an ambulance, they'd ask what happened..>

*Kylie looks really freaked by this point*

*Euryale passes out. Shows Taiyo not to tell her what to do.*

*Kylie kneels down beside Euryale, fumbling with the zipper on her backpack*

Kylie:<I think we need to get Euryale to the hospital...>

*Her voice and body shakes, giving her trouble with the zipper*
