*Lunamon circles around, and fires Tear Shot at Allomon*

"Renamon, Digi-Modify."

*Taiyo runs a card through he Digivice, and Renamon rights herself while midair.*

Renamon:<Aero Wing!>

*Wings sprout from Renamon's back, firing v-shaped heat blasts from each. Salamon attacks with a Puppy Howling.*

"I'll keep the Tapirmon pinned down!" Yu says to the others.

Lop launches another Tiny Twister to keep them bunched up before firing another Blazing Ice.

*The illusions vanish as the few remaining Tapirmon scatter. Allomon also explodes into red & blue data. Euryale notices a ring of Quetzalmon flying above & checks her D-Power.*

"There are signals all over the place. There's just too many of them."

*She looks down at the bench as something tugs on her shorts, & sees what appears to be some kind of living marshmallow.*

Calumon<Too many what? Are you okay? You're frowning, are you sad?>

*Lunamon fires Aero Wing at the Quetzalmon*

<Aero Wing!>

*Kylie runs over to Euryale*

Kylie:<Is that another digimon?>

*Kylie scans it with her D-Power*

Lopmon absorbs the data.

Yu goes over to see who the newcomer is and tries to scan it as well.

*Salamon absorbs the data which Renamon makes no effort to do so.*

"Hitomi, do we keep going or..."

"I don't know. We're outnumbered and at a disadvantage."

Renamon:<Even if we get to higher ground it still won't be enough to even out the odds.>

OOC: Note that all Digivolutions triggered by Calumon are temporary.

*One of the Quetzalmon goes down. Assuming Lopmon is actually looking at Calumon, it just says, "Calumon, Rookie." Vines burst out of the ground behind Euryale, completely ensnaring her arms & legs & wrapping around her throat as a Palmon looms up from behind.*

Calumon<Oh no! Hey, you stop that, you big meanie!>

*Calumon's ears extend & the triangle on his head glows, at which point all of the D-Powers announce a Digivolution.*

*Kylie stares at her digivice, then turns to Lunamon, who lands on the ground*

Kylie:<Hope you're ready!>

*Kylie points her digivice at Lunamon*

Kylie:<Digivolution activate!>

*Lunamon is engulfed by lavender light, and her outer layer of data is torn off, reviling light purple data underneath. From Lunamon's expression, this isn't the most pleasant thing in the world. A second later, the outer layer is replaced, nearly tripling Lunamon's size and adding things like a necklace etc. The glow then dies, leaving Lekismon*

<Lekismon!>

"Let's do this thing. Digivolution activate!" Yu points his d-power at Lopmon who's swallowed in silver light. His data peels off and distorts becoming more human like. The outline does a few kicks and punches before the light blows away like glass shattering revealing Turuiemon.

"Turuiemon!" Turuiemon's voice is noticeably deeper and he grins.

"Yeah yeah admire yourself later Lo... Turuiemon. See if you can bring that Quetzalmon down to our level."

"On it coach" Turuiemon hunkers down before springing upwards to great heights and plummeting downwards on top of the Quetzalmon. "Gauntlet Claw!' He drives his right fist down on the thing, weapon and all.

"Digivolution activate!"

"Digivolution activate."

*Both point their Digivices at their respective partners. Salamon grows losing her canine features in place of feline features, the ring on her neck shrinking and transfering to her tail. Renamon falls on all fours, doubling in size, multiple tails sprouting and the tips catching fire.*

???:<Kyubimon!>

???:<Gatomon!>

*Gatomon rushes the Palmon, slashing it with a Lightning Paw. Kyubimon fires off nine fireballs at the Quetzalmon above.*

OOC: Yeah, all Digivolutions have that egg thing. That's kind of going to be a plot point.

*Turuiemon destroys a Quetzalmon while Kyubimon destroys the others. Gatomon pretty much rips Palmon in half, which of course kills it. Euryale stays frozen stiffly in place. Looking angry, Agumon is surrounded in yet another barrier, which explodes violently outwards as he grows in size & sprouts a hard, horned crest atop his head. He breathes a stream of fire over the retreating Tapirmon, controlling the flames so as not to burn the scenery. A DemiDevimon flies through the torrent of data streaming up into the sky, armed with a giant dart in each claw.*

*Gatomon loads Palmon's data and turns its attention to DemiDevimon as does Kyubimon readying another Fox Tail Inferno.*

*Lekismon jumps into the fray with Tear bArrow, attacking the DemiDevimon*

<Tear arrow!>

Turuiemon absorbs the data of Quetzalmon before landing back on the ground with a smug grin.

"Your work isn't done yet"

"Heh, okay" he then goes after the DemiDevimon. Bounding from place to place to chase it down.

*When DemiDevimon is hit by a bunch of assholes, it disintegrates, but a second DemiDevimon falls harmlessly out of the attacks. Standing nearby, Thiera swipes a card into her D-Power.*

T"And you said that prepping you with Alias before the fight was paranoid."

DemiDevimon<It isn't going to make much of a difference, is it? They're all Champion level.>

T"You should all be ashamed of yourselves! What possible reason could you have for destroying creatures that are so obviously weaker than you? What is wrong with you?"

Kylie:<A couple of them attacked us, and we weren't going to take any chances with the others.>

*Lekismon jumps behind Kylie, then stands facing Thirea and DemiDevimon*

Lekismon:<I'm sorry for attacking your partner, I thought it was another wild one.>

Yu silently nods in agreement with Kylie.

*Gatomon and Kyubimon having not attacked like jerks stand down. Kyubimon directs her attention to Gatomon.*

Kyubimon:<Still short.>

*Gatomon hisses at Kyubimon, Hitomi and Taiyo stand beside their partners, Taiyo petting Kyubimon and scratching her chin.*

"This is pretty cool and all, but it's not permanent, right? It's already pretty hard to hide you when you're Little Foxy."

Gatomon:<You're always such a burden, Foxy.>

T"They attacked you. Is this before or after you started killing them? Do you even know why they were attacking? Did you bother to ask? Should it really have made a difference whether or not DemiDevimon was someone's partner?"

*In the meantime, DemiDevimon flops around trying to get up, & Greymon lands near Euryale, who is starting to twitch a little. Calumon's ears recede back into his head.*

Calumon<I'm sorry...I was only trying to help.>

*As if in response to Calumon's mood, all of the Digimon revert back to Rookie stage.*

Kylie:<We were attacked before we saw what was going on and no, we didn't know why they were attacking, nor did we ask. What would justify them attacking us anyway?>

*Kylie takes a deep breath*

Kylie:<It made a difference because partner digimon don't normally go around attacking strangers.>

*Lunamon goes over to Calumon*

Lunamon:<You did help us though! We're all so gratefully.>

"Wow someone's a bitch"

"LOPMON!"

"What?"

Yu just shakes his head. "Ignore him."

*Amidst the confusion and bickering, Taiyo slinks on over to Euryale.*

"Hi."

T"Well, for your information, we did ask. The 'Wild Ones' are all part of the same village. They were fleeing something that was attacking them when they accidentally Bio-Emerged in the city."

*Euryale takes a limping step towards Taiyo.*

E"EEUUURRGHAA."

Greymon<Yeah, sorry, I think she's still partly paralyzed.>

"Definitely a bitch"

"Oh shut up Lopmon"
