Old Ones Return

Kylie:<I see. Even so, that's no reason to attack us without reason.>

Lunamon:<Is she going to be ok?>

*Lunamon points at Euryale*

*Taiyo shrinks back aways.*

"Oh, okay... I guess that means I shouldn't ask how she's doing."

*Euryale frowns. Maybe. One side of her face isn't really moving.*

Greymon<I don't know, we never scanned the Palmon. But it doesn't look like it's hurting her.>

T"Come on, DemiDevimon. There are still signals all over the city, so we need to get back to tranquelizing."

DemiDevimon<That's never going to work, there's too many, & besides, we can't do anything with them, because you won't let me deformat them!>

"It looks pretty uncomfortable."

*Hitomi crouches in front of Calamon, scanning it since it appears to no longer be swarmed by derps who get distracted by cute things. Salamon sniffs it, eyeing it suspiciously.*

[You didn't answer the question.]

Kylie:<Good luck to whatever you plan on doing.>

Lunamon:<I guess all there to is wait till it wears off.>

"Good luck" Yu waves.

*Once again, it just says Calamon, Rookie. Calamon, meanwhile, reaches out & pats Salamon on the head.*

E"We cank jus leher do this alohn. There...is...too many for her to take...by herself."

*Euryale flexes her jaw a few times & then stretches her arms when she notices a wet spot on her shirt & begins frantically trying to wipe it off. Meanwhile, DemiDevimon flies over to land on Thiera's shoulder.*

E"Oh, Gods damn it, I drooled on myself!"

DemiDevimon<What do you care, anyway?>

*Salamon steps back with a look of what the hell on her face. Hitomi stifles a small giggle.*

"Because we could um...be a team?"

Kylie:<It'd be much safer to work together. There are just way too many digimon for one person to handle alone. If everyone, you know, wants to.>

*Lunamon silently nods, going back to stand beside Kylie*

"She's right. Two heads are better than one, as the saying goes."

T"And why would I want to be part of a Digimon-Killing Team?"

"To offer a new approach?"

"Hello. I'm Hitomi."

Kylie:<There's not really another option right now.>

Calamon<Hi! I'm Calamon. Do you want to play a game?>

E"We're just a little busy right now."

T"We're not killing the Digimon."

Greymon<If no one absorbs their data, they won't stay dead.>

T"But even then, they'll lose their memories. Right?"

Hitomi: "Um...okay."

Kylie:<It's still better than absorbing their data though.>

E"Well, we have to do something. It's not like they're just going to disappear into the sky!"

*As Euryale points at the sky, several booms sound. A split second later, white portals open up over various parts of the city, except the park. The portals begin sucking the fog into them. Soon after, Digimon float up from the city streets to disappear into the portals as well.*

Taiyo: "I think you spoke too soon."

*Kylie and Lunamon stare at the disappearing Digimon*

Lunamon:<Well that's...useful.>

"Did you cause that?" Yu points at Thiera as he asked.

DemiDevimon<Yes! She's a witch! Cross her & she'll turn you all into toads!>

T"Stop that."

DemiDevimon<(Just play along, intimidation gets you respect.)>

*Thiera sighs.*

E"It was probably some new Hypnos invention. Sometimes I forget Tamers aren't the only ones who deal with Digimon."

T"But why would they have been working on something like that? Were they expecting something big? Bigger than the runaway Locomon from years back?"

*Calamon gets bored & stands on his head.*

Kylie:<Maybe, this did end up being pretty huge.>

Hitomi looks a little disappointed by Calamon suddenly getting bored rather than play a game.

Taiyo: "Did you make a new friend, Hi-to-mi?"

Hitomi: "Hm? Um..."

*Thiera begins heading off as Calamon falls over.*

*Kylie yells after her*
