Old Ones Return

Azuma: No time like the present to try this.

Azuma points his D-Power at the Hypnos agent in the water, engaging the lasso thing.

Patamon unleashes another Hydro Pressure at the back of Ikkakumon's head.

*She grabs it & it does, surprisingly, hold her weight. But now Azuma has to contend with her weight, as well as the force of the water, which is quickly pulling him off-balance. Raidramon leaps high into the air, blowing off a piece of Ikkakumon's tusk. At this point, he's just pissed off, but can't do much as Monmon leaps & punches him in the other eye, before back-flipping & landing back on Raidramon.*

*Suddenly the area around the first Digital Hazard lights up with several smaller ones.*

Redhead<More Wild Ones bio-emerging!>

Yamaki<Damn...do we have any other Tamer teams that we can call?>

Brunette<Checking...I'm afraid they're all injured or away on assignment, Sir.>

*Lunamon starts waving*

<We'll go, we'll go!>

Yamaki<...Fine. Someone get a van and take these kids to the Wild One!>

Lunamon:<Hell yeah!>

*Kylie stands around, waiting for direction*

*They are shuffled back into the parking deck where a van is waiting for them, back doors open, engine running.*

The two and their partners climb into the van.

Azuma tries to reel her in, calling to the other agent to give him a hand.

Patamon continues attacking the back of Ikkakumon's head using more Boom Bubbles than Hydro Pressure.

*This she does, grabbing on to the lasso from behind him & pulling. Eventually, they drag the other agent to the pier, where she stays on all fours & coughs up water. The Ikkakumon starts to feel a minor wound on the back of its head, so it drops back down into the water, sending a wave crashing over the pier. When the wave regresses, it leaves behind 6 Gekomon, each with a spear made of bone that has an Ikkakumon horn tied to the end.*

Patamon comes flying over, exhaling a Hydro Pressure at the Gekomon.

*The Gekomon are all bowled over. The Raidramon, down the pier, takes advantage of this to fire lightning over them, causing them all to explode into clouds of data. But another half-dozen Gekomon are climbing up the pier & Ikkakumon bursts out from under Raidramon, pretty much eating it & Monmon. It glows slightly as it absorbs their data.*

Patamon absorbs the Gekomon's data. When finished, he attacks with another Hydro Pressure at the approaching Gekomon.

*Kylie and Lunamon do the same*

*The Gekomon are once again bowled over, but more are approaching. Ikkakumon fires a harpoon torpedo at Patamon, but it's destroyed when it hits a sudden egg-shaped barrier that erupts around him. The Hypnos personnel each shoot one, causing them to revert to data. A woman's voice emerges from Azuma's D-Power.*

*They begin driving to the docks.*

*Lunamon impatiently stares out the window, while Kylie gets her digivice out*

Patamon: "Patamon Digivolve to, Angemon!"

Angemon rushes Ikkakumon, a glowing fist raised.

Angemon: "Heaven's Knuckle!"

He swings, sending a beam of light at Ikkakumon.

*Ikkakumon recovers fairly quickly & fires its horn at Angemon.*

<Harpoon Torpedo!>

*Down below, a group of half-a-dozen-&-rising Gekomon have surrounded Azuma & the Hypnos agents, pointing their spears at them. The agents swing their guns to & fro, trying to intimidate the Digimon into not attacking & overwhelming them. At this point, the Hypnos van arrives. Agumon jumps out before it stops, & when a pair of Geckomon try to stab him with their spears, he bats one away into the other, karate-chops its wielder, & fires a Pepper Breath at the other, knocking him back. Euryale beams.*

"I taught him that!"

*Meanwhile, DemiDevimon flies out of the van & Digivolves. Wizardmon blasts the pair of downed Geckomon with lightning, causing them to explode into data. The other Geckomon abandon Azuma & the Hypnos agents, trying to rush Wizardmon & Agumon.*

*Lunamon and Kylie jump out, Kylie digivolving Lunamon to Lekismon, then using Hyper Wing. Lekismon uses multiple Tear Arrows on the Geckomon*

Angemon intercepts Ikkakumon's attack with a Holy Shot.

Salamon, Renamon and their partners exit the van, the Digimon Digivolve. Gatomon attacks aGkomon with a Neko Kick while Kyubimon runs through the crowd to attack Ikkakumon.

*By now, the fog is glowing with all of the Gekomon data. Not being stupid, Ikkakumon begins absorbing it to heal his wounds. Thanks to the obscuring fog & the fact that the pier is broken anyway, Agumon is able to Digivolve, & joins the onslaught against Ikkakumon with a Nova Blast. It falls into the water. All of the remaining Gekomon, a few dozen in total, swarm onto the pier in one final effort. Wizardmon manages to destroy a few of them with a swarm of fire arrows she conjures & launches at them, but some manage to slip through & blow her back with noise from their horns. She slaps the floor, causing ice spikes to skewer others, but eventually, a large group of them surround her & pin her to the ground, raising their spears.*

Kyubimon spins around, launching a volley of fireballs at the Gekomon.

Angemon flies above them attacking with Holy Shot.

*Ikkakumon emerges from the water & simply tries to skewer Angemon with its horn. The Gekomon are tossed asunder & some of them are destroyed. Wizardmon gathers the remnants of the ice & fire she created around her, standing up & launching a wave of hot steam over them, which crackles with lightning. Greymon smashes most of the remaining ones with his tail.*

With Ikkakumon's reappearance, Kyubimon attacks with Dragon Wheel. Angemon flies higher and behind Ikkakumon.

Azuma swipes the Darkness Wave card which Angemon attacks with.

Gatomon attacks a Gekomon with Lightning Paw.

*The Gekomon takes the attack with a minor wound, & lashes out with its tongue. Wizardmon teleports near the van, & falls to his knees. Though clearly burndened by all of the magic, he does manage to telekinetically fling a 2nd Gekomon away from Gatomon. Ikkakumon tries to smash Kyubimon with its foot.*

Gatomon uses Cat's Eye Hypnotism on the Gekomon.

Kyubimon jumps back and launches a volley of fireballs at Ikkakumon.

As the Darkness Wave attack had no effect, Angemon draws a halo above himself with his finger which then surrounds Ikkakumon, closing in around it.

*Lekismon flies towards Ikkakumon, and uses Tear Arrow again*
