Cabin in the Woods

T"It was probably just ball lightning, or something."

E"I said something similar, but apparently, it was stupid."

"Ball lightning shouldn't make talking noises," Hector replied.

T"It could make an electric crackle that only SOUNDS like whispering."

"Maybe," Hector nodded. "Anyway, we all need sleep."

Cameron:<I agree. Let's had back before it gets any later.>

*Eve and Tirea allow remain on the couch*

Tirea:<They should have been back a while ago.>

Azuma: "Maybe it was ghosts."

*At that moment, everyone re-enters the cabin.*

*Tirea and Eve gets off the couch and run over to the group*

Tirea:<What happened?>

Monu:<We got lost, and saw a weird glowing sphere-thing.>

Cameron:<And we would have probably stayed lost, if the search party hadn't found us.>

Eve:<Glowing sphere? Out in the forest?>

*Monu nods*

Mimiru immediatly heads into the bathroom to shower. Taiyo yawns.

Taiyo: "I'm going to bed."

*The bathroom is a simple affair of a cheap toilet and bath/shower head. A moth-eaten shower curtain hangs around a metal rim at the top. There isn't really much else to the room. On the ledge of the tub is a bottle, the label long since faded, but resembling a shampoo bottle, filled with a strange, brown, jelly-like substance.*

*Euryale follows wordlessly. Meanwhile, Thiera heads to one of the few outlets to plug in her lantern.*

N"We can't figure out what it was either."

Rather than a shower, Mimiru has an overglorified rinse.

In their room, Taiyo flops down on the bed.

Taiyo: "Compared to being out there, this is so much more comfortable."

"I think that tomorrow we should definitely try to keep indoors when night falls," Hector said after a long yawn. "Nasty things always happen when it's darkest."
Astarte continued to sleep deeply on the couch, the only clue that she was alive being the slight rise and fall of her chest.

N"That's stupid. You're stupid. If we want to get out of here, we can't run around afraid of what might go bump in the dark like a bunch of little bitches. It's always dark in this place!"

*Euryale sits on the edge of the bed & begins untying her boots.*

E"Yeah...but I wish I had better clothes for sleeping in."

Hector grimaced, "Not as dark as it is right now. It would have been easier for us to find your stupid ass if we weren't stumbling around in the early hours of the morning. Not only that, but what if this strange 'ball of light' only occurs at night? Quit trying to be manly and think a little."
Astarte stirred in her sleep, rolling over and groaning softly.

Taiyo: Me too.

Taiyo: "Yeah. Jeans aren't great for sleeping in. Daily."

Taiyo sits up to take her hoodie then shoes off before laying back down.

There comes a knock knock knocking on the bathroom door.

Mimiru: "What?"

Azuma: "Just thought I'd forgo one of my seven layers of clothing and since yours smell awful, I figured you'd be a good canidate to give them too."

Mimiru: "Th...thanks. Just leave them outside the door."

N"How 'bout you quit trying to be retarded? We went out during the day time, which by the way was OUR plan, right Roatha?"

*He grabs Roatha by the arm as he's trying to slink away & pulls him over.*

R"Uhh...yeah, I guess so...."

N"So there ya go. Let's see YOUR dumb ass come up with something, when you're not too busy being fellatiated by Tweedlederp over here."

*He points to Eduj. Meanwhile, Vanessa emerges from the hallway, stops at the couch, & glares at Astarte.*

V"It's in my spot."

*Once her shoes & sweater are off, she tosses the sweater on top of the dresser & lays down next to Taiyo.*

Azuma enters looking like he's dressed for bed in his t-shirt and pajama bottoms.

Azuma: "Still arguing over what's happening or happened? And who sits where? I bet we won't last a week."

In the bathroom, Mimiru dresses in the clothes Azuma left, the sleeves on the shirt covering her hands and even with a belt, the pants are still fairly baggy.

Mimiru: "He has the worst body structure."

Taiyo rolls over, putting an arm around Euryale's waist and cuddles up to her.

Taiyo: "But being with you makes it worthwhile."

As Eduj went to bed some time ago, Hector had no idea who 'Tweedlederp' was, "No, searching during the day is common sense, I don't remember anybody proposing it as a plan. All you planned was to search for the site of the bus crash, and Thiera proposed that we split up and mark trees with knives. Anyway, all of this is besides the point, I am saying that we should search during the day and make sure to come back when it gets dark...er, but apparently this is what 'little bitches' do, so you can't do it."
Astarte continued to take up the couch.

N"Well, we might have gotten out a little earlier if your fat ass had spent a little less time gorging on spam."

T"I agree with that guy. Both of you should just stop. You sound like you're overcompensating."

N"Nu-uh, I dissed him like 20 times just now."

*Vanessa grabs Astarte by the shoulder & starts shaking her. Hard.*

V"Hey. I sleep here. Get off."

*Euryale also puts an arm around Taiyo. She tries very hard to ignore the testosterone-poisoned idiots shouting through the walls.*

E"I don't know what I'd be doing if I had to go through all of this without you."

Azuma just leaves the room. In the bedroom, Mimiru is sitting on the bed.

Mimiru: "Have I told you you have the worst body structure ever?"

Azuma: "Not recently."

Mimiru: "Well you do."

Taiyo: "That one girl might be nice if you get to know her. The really crabby one. I don't know her name."

Astarte woke up with a start and leaped out of bed to take off towards the bedrooms, accidentally staggering Vanessa in the process. Hector caught her by the hand and put his own hand on her shoulder, "Apologise, and then it's time for bed."
Astarte was too tired to protest about his condescending tone and did as he said, mumbling an apology, "Ah, sorry..."
Hector lead Astarte to her room, and whispered something to her before disappearing into his own room, "Be careful of Nero."

*Vanessa dusts herself off & climbs into her couch-bed, muttering "Whatever."*

R"Come on, let's just go to bed. We can think of a new plan tomorrow."

*The trio follows Astarte, Nero doing Jazz Hands at Hector along the way.*

E"Well, that narrows it down."

Hector went to bed. Stefan also went to bed, after being suspiciously quiet for that whole time. Astarte climbed into her shared bed and curled up into a ball, as usual.

The two climb into bed, back to back to create the illusion there's nothing romantic between them in hopes of fooling themselves.

Mimiru: "...Thanks, mutt."

Azuma: "No worries."

Taiyo: "The other girls didn't seem too bad."

Taiyo yawns.

Taiyo: "Sorry. Just really sleepy."

*Monu and Cameron follow Hector to the bedroom*

Monu:<What the hell was that about?>

Cameron:<Who knows.>

*Tirea heads to the bedroom, while Eve stops to brush her teeth, before continuing on*

Tirea:<I hope everyone's just tired.>

Eve:<And stressed. I'm things will be fine tomorrow.>
