Year Two

Azuma: "Is that all? Can I go back to sleep?"

Mimiru: "Your first night out wear you out?"

Azuma: "Yeah, we don't all have superhuman endurance. I'll be there around noon."

With that he climbs back into bed.

Outside of the greenhouses at the chain hardware stores, the only other greenhouse is located outside the city, across the bridge and past the dump and the farm.

The only florists are two small shops on the north and south end of the city, and foliage is limited mostly to school and residental areas as well as the park. Few urban locations have any trees. Beautifying the city with plantlife isn't exactly top priority.

OOC: Well, it should be.

"I could maybe sponsor a tree planting or hanging garden project in the long term. But for now I'll just have to work with what I've got."

*She shuts down her computer and heads out for a walk.*

Dalia left the house and her mother drove her to college, where she had a class.

Jin gulped down the rest of her breakfast and left, jogging to school.

Grimm turned off the television and made his way to the church. He stretched in the sunlight outside before heading in and opening up some windows.

Mimiru: "Idiot."

Mimiru leaves, heading to school.

Scattered about the campus are pockets of people doing whatever. A couple douchebags, sit under a tree doing whatever douchebags do. Nothing out of the ordinary appears to be going on on the campus.

It being Wednesday morning, nothing happens at the church, patron wise at least.

*To that end, she walks downtown.*

*Eve arrives at school, waves goodbye to her father, and turns off her phone. Then she heads to class*

*Cameron struggles out of bed, then gets dressed*

Dalia went to class.

Jin arrived at school and went to class.

After checking that all was right and clean inside of the church, Grimm wandered outside to inspect and tend to the garden.

She spots Taiyo and Mimiru whom she may remember from the park last summer on their way to school.

*Eve takes out whatever she needs for 1st period then sits in her desk*

*Cameron heads down to get breakfast*

*Thiera figures she can take some time out of her business to be friendly, so she waves to them.*

"Hello."

Taiyo waves, Mimiru giving a half-assed one not really remembering her.

Taiyo: "Hi, Thiera!"

An unshaven, grimy looking man who could be mistaken for a bum carrying a sign reading 'The End is Nigh', passes.

Classes have yet to start, so it's just spare time for whatever.

Leiutenant Miller, a well dressed man, and a uniformed officer walk through the evidence lock up.

Miller: "So what the hell was stolen that I have to be here? And how the hell did anyone get in here to take something?"

Uniform: "Some evidence from old child pornography cases and brothel raids."

Miller: "So a pervert or group of perverts broke in? Why isn't one of Morrison's people from MCU here? Raferty's panties would be in a bunch over this."

Uniform: "The dominos were taken as well. Someone had to know what they're doing to get those. No way some regular junkie could get in here just to get those."

???: "So the sex crime evidence was a way to try and throw us off?"

Miller: "Looks like it, Zwei. Rookie here might have some brains in his head afterall. So who the hell would take those wretched things?"

Zwei: "The manufacturer perhaps? Something this new is bound to have few sources, so it could be easy to trace back to the original source."

*Eve takes out a book, and scans a few pages*

*Cameron eats breakfast while listening to the news*

"Hey. How've you been?"

Taiyo: "No different than yesterday. How about you?"

He finds a dead bird in the garden. It is partially eaten.

He found a shovel, scooped up the bird and dumped it in the trash.

Jin sat with her feet up on her desk idly slapping her thighs as though playing drums.

"I'm just out for a walk, seeing what's going on around the city."

Taiyo: "That sounds nice. We were just heading to school."

"Oh, alright. I guess I won't keep you, then."

Taiyo: "See you later."

And so they depart. During Thiera's travels, she's passed by a Mutant Busters van and construction vehichles that are followed by another van.

The two arrive in their respective classes just as the bell rings. Classes have begun.

On a crowded public bus, two Tyranno Boys board, pushing their way through the crowd, standing near a woman close to the back door who begins to shake, desperately clinging to her purse. One pulls the rope to stop while the other grabs the woman and wrestles her purse away. When the bus stops and the door opens the Tyranno Boy shoves the purse back at the woman and shoves her off the bus.

The woman sighs relieved by her apparant survival until she notices the additional weight her purse has gained.

Grimm continued strolling through his garden and gave his plants some water.

*Thiera frowns.*

[That can't be good.]

*She follows.*

Eventually she comes to the construction site, the Mutant Buster escorts going off elsewhere as the construction vehicles enter the site.

Ven's assigned to go to the docks where a cat and litter of kittens were seen behind some crates that not many people can get to.

[Hmm...maybe it wasn't related?"

*She begins lazily walking around the perimeter of the site, looking around.*

*Ven heads to the docks, where her directions left off, & looks around.*

The site is fenced in, the fence quite high and the boards close together, the front gate being the only area to get a good look inside from the out.

A female dock worker informs Ven that the area the cats were spotted is dangerously close to Triad territory, a yellow YDT tag being present on a nearby warehouse where the crates the cats are behind is.
