*Luna runs up the staircase. Seeing the pollen, she covers her mouth, but is surprised when it all rushes up the staircase in a great cloud.*

"Umm...no, no, of course not. What is it?"

"I'm afraid I'm not affiliated with the Yakuza, or any other organized crime syndicate, for that matter."

*Thiera gestures, causing the sleep pollen at the landing to swarm up the staircase & fill out the hall.*

The Homunculus dived onto him and ripped the weapon out of his grip and then bent it out of shape. Once that was done, it dropped it down on the ground next to him and disappeared into Alternate Space. Dalia followed it in, and started walking down a few streets away from the mugger.

Jin followed Eve.

Grimm continued on his way until he could see the fire close by.

*Eve exits the house, but remains by the door. She holds out her hand and extends it towards Cameron, slowing time around him*

<Can you catch him?>

Taiyo: "Well, um...Can we meet somewhere or do you mind if we come over?"

The suits are incapacitated, the ones in the lab gear are unscathed apart from any affects it has on their vision.

The lab worker behind her open fires.

The would-be mugger gets the hell out of there. A red pick up truck drives by, slowing down and pulling over when a pair of police cruisers speed by, sirens blaring.

He sees a dark cloud of smoke in the distance over the bay.

A"Umm...well...ah...it's raining pretty bad out, and...uhh...I wouldn't want to make you walk through all of that, so...."

*They find their guns are clogged full of vines & shit. Thiera ignores them as they are no longer a threat & strides to look into the lab.*

*Luna is standing atop the stair case wanting no part of whatever is going on in this fog.*

Assuming that Dalia had left Alternate Space in time to hear and/or see these vehicles pass by, she watched them.

Grimm furrowed his brow and kept heading closer.

"Sure," Jin nodded, beaming at Eve, and then ran over towards Cameron. Once having reached him, she leaped towards him with the intention of wrapping her arms around him.

Taiyo: "It's um, kind of important. It's about Thiera."

A steel door halts her progress. The apartment had been renovated so a portion of it is sealed off from a lab that can be seen through a porthole in the door.

Footsteps come from behind her, the lab workers showing to not be no longer a thread as they're still mobile.

The truck keeps going after the police cruisers pass, their sirens growing more distant.

Eventually he gets to the docks where a police blockade won't let anyone pass.

A"Oh no, did something happen?!"

*Until a tree literally sprouts up to block their path. Thiera peers in.*

*Cameron slows turns, but is successfully grabbed by Jin*

Eve:<Awesome, let's head back up to my room.>

Jin continued to smile widely, and sent a thought to Cameron telling him that it was going to be okay, and she wasn't some kind of villain. She ran back to Eve's house.

Dalia walked in their general direction.

Grimm approached a police officer and asked where exactly the fire was.

Huh...? What?

*Eve closes the door behind Jin, and time around Cameron returns to normal*

Eve:<Don't be alarmed, we're not going to hurt you. Or turn you in.>

Taiyo: "Well, not exactly, but..."

She hands the phone to Ven, not knowing what to say.

Inside is a lab of sorts. The area she's presently in is a section of the apartment that was sealed off from the rest to store lab gear such as the suits the mooks were in as well as a rinse station.

She hears sirens.

Eventually it comes up to a sceezy looking apartment building, two silver SUV's parked outside.

The police officer tells him not to worry about it and move on. From where the smoke is, it's on the far right.

V"...Is Thiera a vigilante?"

A"What?! Where did you get that idea?!"

*Ven holds the phone away from her ear, grimacing.*

*Luna runs back out the front door & looks for an area in which to disappear.*

*The tree falls apart into splinters. Thiera turns back to face the men in hazmat suits.*

T"What were you working on in there?"

"Unless you're a villain," Jin deposited Cameron unceremoniously on the floor and backed away from him. It was obvious from her tone and facial expression that she was too excited. "Are ya'?"

Dalia stared at Luna, and would follow her unless she was pursued by police.

Grimm left wordlessly and looked for another way- by street or alley- to get closer to the fire.

*Cameron shakes his head*

<What!? No. I'm a vigilante. Kind of.>

Eve:<So we thought.>

Cameron:<How did you kidnap me?>

Eve:<We're like you, but not as obvious.>

That works too, I guess.

Taiyo just takes a sip of ber drink.

The lab worker takes a swing at her.

There's an alley. Four police officers exit the vehicles, two each, weapons drawn and shout at Luna to freeze. Dalia should not try following.

There's no way to get to the docks besides the entrance. And by sea.

*He is blown away by a torrent of vines & a casual gesture by Thiera's arm. The vines head back into her sleeve instantly, but some leave him tied up.*

"You're not very bright, are you?"

*She looks around for a quick way out, not entirely trusting the front door.*

*Luna runs down the alley.*
===============================
*Ven points out the observations they've made throughout the night.*

A"...It's a school project."

V"Aroma...."

A"Oh, alright. I guess I can't hide it anymore. We're actually working on a...I guess you could call it a mission. Right now."

Dalia, with no idea of who Luna was and not wanting to cross the police at the moment, just watched.

"You sure we can trust this guy?" Jin looked to Eve."Like, do you know him well?"

Grimm walked away, then. He began heading back from west to east.

Taiyo: "Shouldn't we talk about this in person?"

Her best bet would be through a window and down a fire escape. The problem being other apartments might be in the same way as the one she went in.

Two mobsters come down the stairs. One is the one in concrete gray from the burger joint, shotgun in hand.

The police don't pursue her, opting to remain out front.

It's another long walk back to civilization.

*She pegs them with her knock-out thorns before making her escape.*

*Luna keeps fleeing until she can return to the rooftops & work her way back to her usual part of the city.*

A"Uh, sure. But, you know, not right now."

*Eve shrugs*

<I know his sister, I helped her with a astronomy patch last summer. But even if he did turn us in, he'd just be turning himself in.>

Cameron:<Hey, I'm not about to turn you guys in!>

Taiyo: "When would be a good time? Do we want Thiera to know we suspect her of any of this?"

There's a fire escape. Through a window she may see Thiera who found an apartment that wasn't converted into a lab, heading to the window.

A"Hey, now, she's not some kind of criminal...."

*Aroma is audibly saddened.*

V"How about tomorrow?"

*Thiera flies out of the window, like a boss.*
==================================
*Luna keeps doing what she's doing.*

Taiyo: "I didn't say that. It's just why wouldn't she tell us?"

Their waitress comes over and tells them it's last call for food and drinks before closing.

Luna had gotten to the roof. Flying out a window is apt to result in Thiera crashing into the neighboring building if she doesn't pull up or land.

*Ven covers the phone with her hand.*

V"I guess we should probably pay our bill & go, then."

*She uses her vines to cling to the face of the building & climb up, duh.*
