Weather Reporter: "Storm coming, like the wrath of God. About to hit Manderlay."

Azuma stares out his bedroom window at the darkening city. He had teleported in, so his brother and Kari were unaware of his being there.

It'll be a good night.

*Aroma gets out of class & begins walking back, silently chiding herself for not bringing an umbrella.*

"Whatever. Can we at least find something for me to stand under?"

An umbrella is held overhead, the owner being a woman a few years older than Aroma with long black hair, red blouse, and black knee high skirt.

???: "Bad time to not have an umbrella, don't you think?"

The closest shelter is the top of the playground which features a slated roof which they presumably head for. Taiyo prances about in the rain, her white shirt going transparent, her pink bra visible.

*Aroma blushes at a presumably hot chick being so close to her.*

"Yeah...I really should have checked the weather before I left for class today. Thank you."

*Venezuela is completely unmoved by this. She stands under the roof, opting not to get wet.*

Taiyo joins Ven under the roof, letting out a sigh.

Taiyo: "That was nice."

???: "Nobody's perfect. I'm Spring Amore."

"That's a cute name. Mine is Aroma Zinginzer."

*Ven smiles.*

"I'm glad you enjoyed yourself."

*Cameron and Kylie dash for Eve's porch*

Cameron:<KYLIE!>

Kylie:<I'm sorry alright?>

Spring smiles and thanks her.

Spring: "Do you live in the dorms or off campus?"

Taiyo: "The best part is I get to spend the day with you."

"The dorms."

"Yeah. Shame Thiera & Aroma were busy, though."

*Kylie heads up to the door, and hesitates before knocking*

Kylie:<What if they yell at me?>

Cameron:<Have they ever before?>

Kylie:<They've yelled at you.>

Cameron:<Once, and I deserved it.>

*Kylie knocks on the door*

Spring: "That's not too far from here. I live off campus."

Taiyo: "Yeah...but...I'm kinda glad."

She steps closer to Ven.

Taiyo: "I've really wanted to spend some time with just you."

Azuma stands on the edge of the roof, the rain beating down on him. With the rain, set to get worse, the sky has darkened quite early in the day given the time of year.

It's a beautiful night. A perfect night. A hunter's night.

He teleports to another roof and keeps going.

"I don't understand. Do you not like the others?"

*Because of the dark sky & wet conditions, Thiera & Luna both opt to head out. Thiera's first stop is the bushes by her window.*

"Oh...I'm not taking you too far out of your way, am I?"

*Eve looks to Jin and back at the door*

<I think someone's at the door.>

Spring: "Not at all. And I got to meet someone new, so it wouldn't be a bad thing anyways."

Taiyo: "Oh no, I do. It's just...I really like you. Romantically."

The crap she hid there is still present. Although it now smells like urine.

Coming down the pathway towarda the dorms she can see Aroma and some other woman walking in her direction.

His teleporting him leads to a roof behind the bookstore, the car still present.

Dalia put her phone away, having organized a morning appointment, and started gathering her things. She added a black umbrella to her night's possessions.

"That sounds good," Jin nodded at Eve's idea, and when the door was mentioned, she nodded again. "Okay."

Grimm, now wearing his cloak and with his pistol and blade concealed inside his cassock, locked up the church and left. He was completely unfazed by the rain that fell on him, as he was able to remain quite warm even when wet. Drying his clothes would also be a simple affair.

*She didn't hide anything yet, that's what she's doing now. She uses her powers to fuse the coconut things into the base of the bush's roots. She then generates a large toadstool leaf to hold over her head. To an outside observer, it just looks like she found a particularly large weed & decided to use it as an umbrella. She heads over to meet Aroma.*

*Aroma smiles brightly.*

"Yeah...do you think we'll see each other again some time?"

"Oh. Right. I'm...sorry, Taiyo, but I thought you could tell. I'm not attracted to women."

*Luna heads along rooftops to the east side of the city, since the Tyranno Boys were very active there recently.*

Spring: "If that's what you wish."

Not having anything to write on or with, she recites her number. Seeing Thiera and her odd makeshift umbrella, she suppresses giving an odd look.

Spring: "It was nice meeting you, Aroma. I hope to see you again, soon."

Taiyo steps back, staring at the platform they stand on. She backs into the railing, falling into a sitting position.

Taiyo: "Oh. I should've figured. I guess...I don't know. I didn't want to think about it. Like maybe I would've had a chance."

I'm so stupid.

Some time passes before anyone leaves the bookstore. Three men in suits of charcoal grey, black, and navy blue, the one in blue carrying a sub machine gun. They get into the car and drive off.

This looks pretty big.

Assuming she goes to the scene of the crime from earlier, all the she finds is bits of poloce tape.

Two Tyranno Boys walk down the street both wearing blue long sleeved shirts, one says My Name Is Rob, the other My Name Is Don.

Don: "You hear about Spike? Says some guy in blue threw him off a fire escape."

Rob: "That's nasty. Balls nasty. Boy Blue don't shiv."

Dalia, now wearing her trench coat, boots, beret and mask, took her umbrella and went into Alternate Space. She made her way to neighbouring street and emerged. She opened up the umbrella and began walking in the general direction of her interaction with the Tyranno Boys of the previous night. She decided that as the mask made her stand out immediately, even at a distance, she would keep it tucked in the collar of her coat until someone came near.

Grimm took to the back streets and alleys and made his way to the east side of the city.

*Luna keeps listening. If they pass out of earshot, she vaults to another building to keep up with the conversation.*

*Being in the same situation, Aroma does her best to memorize it.*

A"Me too."

*When Thiera gets close enough, she asks Aroma what's up.*

"I could tell that you were...that way because I could smell it. I just assumed, since you had similar powers, that you could too."

Spring: "Farewell for now."

As Spring continues, she nods in Thiera's direction before she's eventually out of sight.

Taiyo: "The best I can do is tell people apart by their scent. I don't think I could tell the difference between someone's regular scent and how they are around someone they like."

Don: "When's the next meeting?"

Rob: "Don't know. Whenever the word is sent out."

Don: "Real coo', Rob. Wanna hit the mall?"

Rob: "Why not?"

The two find their respective streets deserted. Or something of the sort in Dalia's case due to the weather. They might be the only ones for multiple blocks except for maybe one other person.

Azuma teleports into the bookstore's back room. It's silent except for the rain. He creeps around, crouching behind the shelves and boxes present until the bosses office comes into view.

*She looks for a safe place to jump down.*

T"Who was that?"

And why didn't she want to meet me?

A"Her name is Spring Amore. I just met her today."

"Huh...well, I think Aroma likes you, actually."

Taiyo looks up, the water dripping from her hair and face cover up that she'd been crying.

Taiyo: "I think she likes Thiera."

There is a fire escape.

Azuma places a hand on the wall, feeling something carved in it.

ΓΝΩΘΙ ΣΑΥΤΟΝ

He studies the carving for a second, recognizing only one symbol which is enough to tell him it's Greek and absolutely foreign to him.

Peering into the office, he sees his boss sitting at his desk, working on something. Filling out forms by the looks of it. He takes another look at the carving and teleports out.

"Maybe. I have to say, all I actually know is that she likes at least one of us. But, Thiera doesn't like her back."

*She climbs down as quietly as she can. Once she's as close as possible to the Tyranno Boys, she electrifies the tip, jabbing one, & then swings the other end at the back of the other's head.*

Dalia continued up the street, pretending to ignore the scene of the previous nights' crime.
Was it really a crime? Technically, yes. Morally?
She felt a little twinge of nausea, but ignored it and crossed the road. She began to head towards any moderately large shopping areas nearby that she could think of.

Grimm, who was not looking for a specific street, continued to head east. He ended up walking a short way behind a girl with a trench coat and a black umbrella.
