Year Two

"Hey," Jin said as she saw Cameron coming over.

"Looks like there are vigilantes getting things done," Dalia said. "But I'm no closer to Raptor."

Taiyo: "Do you really want to be involved with something like that?"

*Cameron grins*

Cameron:<Are you two ready?>

*Eve shrugs*

Eve:<I have my outfit together, and I don't have anything big tomorrow.>

Jin suddenly slapped a hand to her cheek and exclaimed, "Damn, I just remembered... I don't have a costume..."

Cameron:<Do you have dark clothes?>

T"Something like what?"

Taiyo: "Trying to find who made that."

She glances at the others, wondering why she's the only one talking.

Jin looked down at herself. She was wearing dark camouflage-patterned pants and a black tank top. She looked up at Eve, "Hey, you got any dark towels? I have an idea."

*Eve nods*

<Yeah, the ones in the master bathroom are black. Shall we head in?>

*She walks up the driveway, Cameron following*

"Yep," Jin skipped up the driveway towards the door.

*Eve unlocks the door, then enters, followed by Cameron. She then heads up the stairs, returning with a couple of large, dark towel*

Cameron:<So, what's your plan?>

*Ven & Aroma return her look with confusion.*

T"Well, someone's gotta do it. Besides, you always hear on the news about these evil mutants...I thought maybe things might be different if someone got out there with a little good publicity."

"I can make a turban kind of thing," Jin replied, accepting one of the towels with a 'thank you'. The finished product was a kind of headscarf that obscured all but her eyes and the bridge of her nose. "It might come off at some stage, but it works, yeah?"

Taiyo: "I guess. You'll be careful though, won't you?"

*Eve nods*

<That looks good. Let's head up to my room and we'll make a plan.>

T"I always am."

"Okay," Jin nodded and took off the headscarf, wrapping it around her shoulders.

Dalia, with very little to do at home, went out and found her bus stop. She looked at the timetable to see when the next bus heading east would arrive.

Taiyo smiles and nods.

Taiyo: "Okay. I guess with that out of the way, is there anything else anyone wants to do?"

The buses go by every forty five minutes. Every hour on weekends. To go east, she'll have to transfer to another bus from this stop. The next bus is coming in fifteen minutes.

T"I don't know, but I could really use a break after last night."

A"Me too."

Taiyo: "I guess you had a busy night. From what was on the news this morning."

T"Ah, yes, well, I was hoping the lab was one of the ones producing those domino things, but no such luck, I'm afraid."

Taiyo: "It's better than nothing, right?"

T"I suppose so, yeah. But enough about me. Where do we want to go?"

Taiyo looks up at the cloudy sky.

Taiyo: "Well, it's kind of ugly outside. Somewhere indoors?"

*Eve opens her room door and heads over to the computer, searching "Areas of most civilian causalities in Manderlay*

Cameron:<So, where should we meet up? There's a nice area at the start of this street, but that might be kind of far for you., Jin>.
