Azuma: "Still relatively cardless to go out alone. I can't make Patamon digivolve on a whim, so unless I'd encounter a rookie, I'm still tagging with you."

Taiyo: "What about the mountains?"

Lunamon:<Awesome!>

Kylie:<You can borrow my digivolution card if you want.>

*She smiles*

Yamaki<You have your orders, now stop wasting time here! Borrow the girl's Digivolution card & get on with it.>

*A tiny spark of miniature lightning glows in the fog.*

*Kylie shyly takes out the card and pasts it to Azuma*

*Cameron and Biyomon race towards the lightning*

Azuma: "No worries."

Azuma sets out to the parkade and beyond as there was no mention of transportation being provided. The other two do the same.

OOC: You dumbfuck, you don't even need a Digivolution card, as Patamon has already Digivolved to Champion.

*As they leave, they can hear Kurata arguing that, if they're successful, maybe they should be considered for the Digital World mission after all.*

*That spark becomes ball lightning, which just as quickly turns into a wisp of flame. It rapidly explodes, the force knocking Cameron onto his ass as a Meramon emerges. It spreads its arms & roars as Thiera & Wizardmon run onto the scene.*

*Meanwhile, up at the library roof, a pair of pincers breaks through the sky. They chew apart a bigger opening & a Kuwagamon flies free, giving its trademark roar.*

*By the time Euryale & Agumon get to the docks, Gorillamon can already be found, smashing up crates like an asshole. It sees them & immediately fires a blast of energy from its cannon at them, which they dodge roll out of the way of as it causes a few planks to combust & sink into the ocean.*

*Downtown the streets are fairly empty, except for a large Dark Tyrannomon stomping through them.*

*The school playground is playing host to a GoldVeedramon which appears to be trying to climb up the plastic twisty slide.*

*A dark mist spreads throughout the fog already masking the steps of the capitol building. Within, a pair of red eyes glow as wings spread to reveal the form of a Devimon. He smirks & lashes out with a darkness claw at the human partner.*

Patamon Digivolves and hammers DarkTyrannomon with a Heaven's Knuckle.

Renamon rushes at the GoldVeedramon, Taiyo swiping the Thor's Hammer card through her D-Power.

Hitomi dives out of the way. Salamon Digivolves to Gatomon and attacks.

*Of course, the rest of the dock begins falling apart, so Euryale & Agumon have to run toward Gorillamon to stay dry. Gorillamon of course takes advantage of this & fires another shot, but Euryale swipes War Greymon's Brave Shield, which Agumon manages to use to deflect the attack with only slight difficulty. Also in her hand is a Radiant Wings, which takes effect right after the Brave Shield. Agumon peeks over his shield & fires a Pepper Breath into Gorillamon's face, causing it to flail about in a blind rage.*

*It ignores them, shoves its fat ass into the slide, & slowly scoots down it, ignoring its groans of protest.*

*It swats her away with its claw, leaving a large gash in her.*

<Do you think I'm like the others? You're out of your league, Kiddo.>

Renamon stops and looks bewildered.

Taiyo comes up to them.

Taiyo: "Um...excuse me?"

Gatomon: "You're just more data to absorb."

Hitomi swipes the Cocytus Breath card, Gatomon attacks.

*Dark Tyrannomon is caught by surprised, knocked off-balance, & falls onto the street, putting a small crack in it.*

*Devimon leaps into the air, so Gatomon succeeds in blowing a damn hole in the wall of the capitol building, like a fucking terrorist. Devimon then comes back down, swiping with its claws & destroying the Garuru Cannon. In the same move, it kicks Gatomon right in the face, sending her flying. She might have cleared the mist entirely if she didn't sail across the street & smash into the wall of another building.*

<I told you, you're out of your league. I'm even stronger than the original Devimon was at his peak.>

Angemon hovers above DarkTyrannomon. He holds a hand out, fingers pointed at it and attacks with Holy Shot.

Taiyo: "Well...we were sent to...I don't know, send you back home?"

Gatomon groans and gets back to her feet. Hitomi swipes a Hi-Speed Plug In S and Gatomon charges, lunging at Devimon when in range, swiping at it with a Lightning Paw.

Hitomi deploys the D-Powers lasso to restrain Devimon.

*Devimon effortlessly breaks through the lasso. The Lightning Paw is too fast for him to dodge or evade, but he tanks it with very little harm.*

*Dark Tyrannomon now has a huge gaping hole in its side, exposing gridlines. A sudden blaze forms around it & it roars, projecting the fire as a rolling cloud at Angemon.*

Angemon flies back to evade the attack, launching another Heaven's Knuckle.

Taiyo: "Oh. Well, there's not much I can really do. I don't think people are going to like a big dinosaur...dragon...puppy creature on their playground."

Gatomon runs around Devimon and jumps on to its lower back, digging her claws in and begins climbing.

*DarkTyrannomon dissolves into data.*

*Devimon leaps backwards, slamming his back, & by extension Gatomon, into the wall of the capitol building.*

Angemon absorbs the data.

Azuma: "That was...easy. Anywho, what's closest to where we are now?"

Azuma looks at the map on his D-Power, for the closest signal.

Taiyo: "I bet Hypnos has a playground you'd like better. You're different than the other Digimon. They're usually mean."

Gatomon holds on for dear life, clawing Devimon's back, keeping one set in at all times.

*Lunamon digivolves to Lekismon, and uses Tear Arrow on the Devimon*

Kylie:<Hitomi, aren't you supposed to be downtown?>

*Cameron stands up and Biyomon uses Spiral Twister on the Meramon*

OOC: Man, I don't even care anymore.

*Devimon grabs the arrow out of midair & hurls it at Hitomi.*

*Meramon blocks this with a fire punch aimed at Biyomon. Wizardmon conjures a translucent shield to block it.*

M<I don't know who you are, but the Devimon you remember is dead. There is a new order in the Digital World now!>

*Meramon pelts both of them with a flamethrower effect, to which Wizardmon generates another shield.*

*Having taken to the air riding on his back, Euryale allows Agumon to Digivolve, at which point he lets loose with a Nova Blast. Gorillamon is pinned down by fire & water, & thus destroyed in no time.*

*Kylie slashes Aero Wing, and then Lekismon flies up and uses Aero Wing on Devimon*

Kylie:<Look out!>

*Cameron slashes Metalgarurmon's Blaster, and Biyomon uses it on Meramon*

Cameron:<What are you talking about?>

Taiyo: "Oh...okay?"

Taiyo looks at Renamon like "what do we do now?" Renamon sighs, annoyed by this ordeal.

Renamon: "You have to go."

Angemon flies in pursuit of the Kuwagamon, attacking with Holy Shot.

Hitomi dives out of the arrows path, shielding her face with her hand not holding the D-Power.

Gatomon climbs further up Devimon's back, digging her claws in the back of its neck.

Gatomon: "Your fight's with me!"

*Hitomi isn't dead, sadly, but the shockwave from the explosion seriously wounds her, & she can only crawl. Devimon flies up. He then reaches behind him & pulls Gatomon off of his back, choking her until she reverts to Salamon.*

*He drops her to the ground.*

*As it reaches the halfway point on the slide when it falls apart.*

*Kuwagamon spirals wildly, having been knocked off-balance.*
=======================================
*Meramon dodges, retaliating with a fire kick. Wizardmon uses another shield, then fires a blast of cold air from her staff at the Meramon.*

"Fly into the clouds, that way we can't be seen. I'll look for another flying signal."

<Roger that!>

Renamon: "I'm not asking you, I'm telling you."

Her grip tightens on the hammer.

Angemon continues the pursuit, repeating his attack.

Hitomi bites her lip and crawls behind something she can hide behind.

Salamon struggles to her feet.

Salamon: "I'm not out yet..."

*Kylie runs over to help Hitomi, while Lekismon flies around and fire another Aero Wing*

Lekismon:<Actually, your fight is with both of us!>

*GoldVeedramon rears up to its full height.*

*Meramon flies back, some of the flames flying off of it to reveal gridlines. Wizardmon fires several more ice shots at him.*

*Hitomi sees a parked car to crawl towards. Devimon dives low, swooping up to tear off one of Lekismon's Aero Wings.*
