Old Ones Return (II)

Kurata<Excellent, you've brought back a lot of useful data. Over the weekend, I will send probes into the Digital World to examine these strange beams, & determine the best way to proceed.>

Azuma: "How long were we gone for?"

<A little over 2 hours. There are only between 1 & 5 minutes' time dilation between the 2 worlds at any given point.>

Azuma: "That long? Sure didn't seem like it."

Cameron:<That was fun.>

*Lunamon nods*

D<It seemed like days!>

*DemiDevimon flaps her wings.*

Biyomon:<What? All we did was walk around a bit.>

Azuma: "Anywho, anything else on today's agenda?"

Kurata<Nope. Unless you have any questions, you're free to go.>

Azuma: "When's payday?"

*Kylie picks up Lunamon*

<Are we meeting for a movie?>

Kurata<Today. We do direct deposit, remember?>

E"Sounds like it."

Kylie:<Awesome.>

Azuma: "A lot to remember given the recent events."

Salamon: "Everyone? That doesn't sound right at all."

T"What makes you say that?"

Lunamon:<Stop being so....yourself.>

Salamon: "Well, there's that loudmouth, those dummies, that...that, and her."

She motions to DemiDevimon, Lunamon & Patamon, Koromon, and Renamon totally ignoring Biyomon.

*Euryale holds on to Koromon tightly. She's about to say something to Salamon when DemiDevimon leaps off of Euryale's shoulders & starts buffeting Salamon with her wings & claws.*

D<No! Bad! If anything, you're the loudmouth!>

Salamon bites at DemiDevimon until Hitomi turns away from it, shielding Salamon.

Azuma: "You're both loudmouths."

*Lunamon jumps out of Kylie's arms and joins Demidevimon*

<Stop being an asshole.>

*DemiDevimon has wings, & so just flies around, & scratches its mouth.*

D<That'll show you!>

E"Aren't you going to stop her?"

*Thiera shrugs.*

T"How? She's a raging, flapping, spitting, ball of teeth & claws. There's not a whole lot I can do until Salamon stops provoking her."

*Lunamon holds Salamon down so Demidevimon can better attack her*

Azuma: "A pacifist when it allows you to feel superior to the rest of us."

Taiyo: "Renamon, stop them."

Hitomi turns around, so her back is to DemiDevimon and Lunamon.

Renamon intervenes, grabbing Lunamon by the ears. Azuma deploys his D-Powers lasso to snare DemiDevimon.

*DemiDevimon falls to the ground, letting out a horrific screeching noise, shouting, "My wing." Thiera quickly scoops her up & turns to Azuma. Shaking in rage, she punches him right in the face.*

"You idiot! There was a reason I didn't do that! You know what, you're right, I don't care what happens to Salamon! She's a horrible little rat thing! Oh, but of course I'M the only one expected to keep MY partner in control. You know what, you can just...just...!"

*She punches him again, this time in the stomach. Surprisingly strong, she knocks the wind out of him, knocking him to the ground, before rushing out of the door.*

Koromon<She told you.>

*Euryale looks from Azuma to Hitomi, shakes her head, & follows Thiera out.*

E"Wait up!"

Kurata<Oh dear...are you all okay?>

*Lunamon wiggles out of Renamon's grasp and is quickly grabbed by Kylie. Cameron and Biyomon run after Thiera*

Cameron:<Thiera!>

Lunamon:<Let me go!>
