Old Ones Return (II)

Renamon: "Next time, I'm ripping them off."

Azuma gets up, brushing himself off.

Azuma: "Never better. A little surprised. Didn't think she had a mean right hook. How about you? You all right?"

Hitomi: "Yes."

Salamon: "I hate everyone!"

Taiyo looks towards the door then to Hitomi.

Taiyo: "Let's just go home."

The three begin to head out.

*Euryale looks around, then tries her phone. Thiera forwards the conversation to any of them who has her number.*

Euryale: Are you alright? Where are you? Let's talk.
Thiera: I'm fine. Just want to get home alone. Talk to you later.

*Euryale sighs & puts her phone away, scratching her head. Koromon, on the ground, takes 2 hops towards Hitomi.*

"You stay."

<But everyone else got to beat her up!>

"Stay."

<I never get to do anything!>

Hitomi walks around Koromon and Euryale, Azuma and Patamon not too far behind.

Taiyo looks relieved that Euryale is still present, but doesn't go towards her. She also doesn't follow Hitomi and Azuma.

*Kylie, Cameron, and their partners wander up to Euryale*

Kylie:<Well, we'll see you tomorrow.>

*The siblings head home*

*Euryale turns around.*

"All right."

*She then looks at Taiyo, wondering what she'll do.*

*As she walks, Kylie texts Thiera*

Do you still want to go to a movie tomorrow?

Taiyo does nothing except look disappointed. Eventually she does resume going home when Azuma and Hitomi are at a greater distance.

*Euryale just picks up Koromon & goes home. Thiera does not answer.*

*Kylie sighs and the siblings enter their house*

*As everyone spends the weekend ignoring each other, Monday rolls by pretty quickly. Everyone had gotten a D-Power message to report directly to Kurata's office after classes. Euryale & Agumon are already there.*

*Cameron, Kylie, and their partners show up soon after*

Lunamon:<Hey Euryale and Agumon!>

*She waves*

The three show up, partners in tow.

*Euryale is about to wave when Kurata claps & stands up. She abruptly turns back around.*

Kurata<Splendid, looks like everyone's here!>

E"Wait, what about Thiera?"

Kurata<I'm afraid she asked Mr. Yamaki to transfer her to another assignment.>

Azuma: "Expected a bit more after that spat in the lobby."

Kylie:<What? She can't!>

*Lunamon glares at Azuma and co. Kylie grabs her phone and texts Thiera*

Don't leave us.

"Don't push your luck there. I got her to say she's not mad at me, but when I tried to push further conversation, she shut down."

A<She said, "Hi" to me. With a little smiley face, too.>

Kurata<I'm afraid I can't force her to come back to the mission if she doesn't want to.>

Azuma: "Anyways, what's on today's agenda?"

Kylie:<She's not responding to me.>

*Lunamon pats her on the head*

Kurata<I've studied the beams, & found that their behavior, while at first random, can be quite easily predicted, with proper monitoring. Because of that, & to make communications easier, I've taken the liberty of launching a satellite into the atmosphere of the Digital World.>

"You've what?"

Kurata<Oh, but that's just the preamble to this mission. We'll be exploring where the Digimon of the destroyed village fled to.>

Azuma: "Something like that is possible? Nifty."

Cameron:<Awesome.>

Biyomon:<Where did they flee to?>

Kurata<From my readouts, I believe it is a jungle.>

Azuma: "Sounds like a nice change from the last place. When do we head out?"

Cameron:<Jungle safari time.>

Lunamon:<How about now?>

Kurata<Yes, that was the plan. If you'll just accompany me to the Digital Gate chamber....>
