Noct didn't like being called a 'babe', but didn't care enough to bring it up. "I don't mind the precise word usage," Noct said.

Euryale: Lol, she'll speak better than we do.

Zalera: I thought that only happened with English.

Euryale: I thought we were speaking English.

Zalera: Don't start that again.

Aroma: Eyecn spkngl shhh.

<Who knows what language we're speaking.>

"I don't know what language that is," Noct said, "Are you alright, Aroma?"

Thiera: She says, "I can speak English."

Zalera: She sa--what she said.

"In what language?" Noct askeed.

<It's sure not one I recognize.>

"Oh, English," Noct said, "Something was wrong with my chat client, I guess. Came up as gibberish."

"You can read English?" Mortal asked.

Noct nodded, "My mother was an American that moved to Japan for work."

<Now that you say that, I can make it out. Good job Aroma, you got the sounds right!>

Euryale: How many languages can you speak?

Thiera: Allow me to guess; You can speak English, Japanese, Portugese, Spanish, German, French, Chinese of Mandarin, Wu, Yue, and Min dialects, Italian, Modern Standard Arabic, Greek, and Russian? Am I missing any?

Aroma: Well, I know of a few other languages, but I can only speak a couple fragmented sentences of them.

Thiera: I thought so. That's every language that The World is available in.

Zalera: If she can pick up the speech that a few players use, then her translation software is even better than CC Corp's. I might have to scrap this thing I use & have her interpret me.

OOC: That is a LOT of languages for a game. As far as I know, the common ones are English, French, Japanese (usually only by Japanese devs), Korean (depends heavily on the game and dev), Spanish, Italian, and German (not that common). Any other languages are subtitles, at best, or just not available. Foreign games aren't allowed in China, btw, so there is no need to make a language setting for it.

Noct nodded, "Well, you really are part of The World, right down to the languages. Probably fluent in C++ as well."

OOC: The World is supposed to be absurdly popular & advanced, & one of the few games around.

Aroma: I don't know what that is.

*Aroma suddenly notices that everyone is gawking at her, & takes a step back, blushing.*

Aroma: It's really nothing special....

"C++ is a programming language, most likely the one that wrote the code for this game," Noct said. She then shrugs, "Sorry if we're embarrassing you."

"New friends to a group are always the center of attention, at least for a little while," Mortal said.

*Monudon nods in agreement*

Aroma: I don't understand, I can't do anything you can. I can't put monsters under spells, I can't manipulate the elements, I can't use your strange weapons, I have a vague idea what this "board" you speak of is, but I can't access it, I can't speak to people across vast distances instantly, and I definitely can't see the outside world.

"Then I guess you're just like us," Mortal said, "There are things we can do that you can't, and things you can do that we can't."

*Monudon nods in agreement*

"Very interesting," Hector said. He sheathed his weapon.

Luna: I don't think so. Are we done here or not?

"I thought we were waiting on Wiseman," Noct said.

Luna We can still return to town.

"Then lets go," Noct said.
