Old Ones Return (III)

Renamon Digivolves and Taiyo reswipes Aero Wing if needed. Her and Hitomi climb up on Kyubimon.

Angemon picks Azuma up.

And they all fly down the hole.

*Lekismon and Saberdramon grab their partners then follow the others into the hole*

*Since they all flew in as a big group, which was explicitly warned against, one of the helicopters notes them & fires a bloody missile in their direction.*

Salamon climbs around to Taiyo's lap and fires a Cocytus Breath at the missile when  the card is swiped.

*Saberdramon uses Night roar on the missile*

*The other helicopters turn towards the group in short order & fire more salvos.*

*Saberdramon uses Night Roar again, while Lekismon Tear Arrows the incoming attacks*

Salamon fires another Cocytus Breath before Kyubimon dives, Taiyo hanging on to Salamon.

*And so Agumon also dives towards the forest because, while some missiles are destroyed, there are still dozens heading to their location. Some arc down to follow the diving Digimon.*

Angemon turns back and fires a Holy Shot at an incoming missile.

*Saberdramon and Lekismon follow the others, Saberdramon using Night roar on any missiles that get close*

*As it can't really fly & attack at the same time, Saberdramon is eventually hit by a missile. It takes the brunt of the blast force, resulting in those riding it being uninjured. Unfortunately, it reverts to In Training & plummets. Euryale throws a space oscillation device so that they will fall through it instead of falling several stories to the ground, then Agumon drops her into it & turns around. As Euryale slashes the Blue Card on her way down, Agumon is surrounded by orange energy which expands outwards until he's a much larger cybernetic dinosaur, now with 2 sets of wings. He opens his mouth & exhales a large funnel of flame to keep the missiles from coming towards the portal, roaring even louder than the wind, then ports on his chest open & he returns fire with a pair of his own.*

*Euryale lands hard on the floor of the Digital Gate chamber & just lays there. Kurata rushes towards them.*

The two fly through the portal, presumably landing in the office.

Taiyo: "Euryale, are you okay?"

*Lekismon grabs Yokomon and Cameron, flying though the portal*

"Yeah...I'm fine...just...just give me a minute...."

*Metal Greymon stays behind, continuing to fire pinpoint blasts of flame into missiles from his claws until the portal begins to shrink. His own missiles had long since been shot down by precision gunfire.*

Taiyo looks towards the shrinking portal.

Taiyo: "He's coming through, right?"

Lekismon:<He will.>

*Lekismon looks slightly more convinced than Kylie beside her*

"Don't worry...he's just making sure...."

*She drags herself into a sitting position, grunting.*

"...That nothing dangerous comes through."

*Kurata sneezes.*

Lekismon:<That Blue card is amazing...>

Kylie:<Yeah.>

Azuma: "Taking awhile. Did you get a fix on where we ended up?"

Kurata<Yes. But I can't say very much about it.>

*Agumon eventually degenerates & falls through just before the portal closes, Euryale catching him. Kurata adjusts his glasses.*

Kurata<Would those who aren't Rookie level please return to that state? There isn't very much room in here.>

*Lekismon does that*

Lunamon:<So, now that they beat us to the lower level, what are we going to do?>

Angemon and Kyubimon revert to their Rookie forms.

Azuma: "Gave us quite the scare there."

A<Ultimate is amazing, they couldn't do anything to me. I was worried that Senthose would come after me, though.>

Kurata<We have to return to the area to investigate. We've been lucky so far that there haven't been any more Bio-Emergences, but we need to learn more about this war, before we're attacked again.>

Azuma: "And we're doing that Monday?"
