Old Ones Return (III)

*Saberdramon and Lekismon regress*

Biyomon:<You got it?>

*Lunamon nods*

OOC: Armor is metal. Metal hurts when you hit it with your person. Groaning is a sign of that.

Azuma: "So what's so special about this feather?"

E"I don't know, maybe Kurata can tell us."

Azuma: "Maybe."

They begin to go through the gate.

*They follow*

*The Gate closes behind them.*

Kurata<So, what did you find?>

Azuma: "A feather."

*Lunamon gives him the feather*

*He takes the feather & adjusts his glasses, inspecting it. He grins.*

Kurata<Excellent! I'll have to spend the night examining this, but I think I should have something for one of you tomorrow.>

Azuma: "Okay then."

Taiyo: "Euryale, did you get a picture of those pictures on the wall?"

Kylie:<Thank you Professor.>

"Nope, didn't think about it."

<No matter, I can simply lift the images from your D-Powers.>

Azuma: "I guess we don't have to worry about taking photos."

Lunamon:<Professor, did Thiera switch assignments again?>

A<Not necessarily. Your doohickeys only record what we see.>

Kurata<I believe that she did. It is her right as a paid employee to request new assignments.>

*Euryale folds her arms.*

E"And I guess we're still not getting paid."

Kurata<I'll send Mr. Yamaki a memo asking if you've repaid your debt yet.>

E"Well, that is great news. Thank you!"

*She unfolds her arms & approaches him with arms outstretched, but Kurata holds out a hand.*

Kurata<No personal contact, please.>

Lunamon:<But Thiera repaid hers?>

Taiyo: "Then you won't mind if I take your place."

And so Taiyo hugs Euryale instead.

*It's kind of awkward, because Euryale has already put her arms down, but she smiles nonetheless.*

Kurata<As I explained, upon further review, it was found that Thiera had little to do with the highly visible destruction.>

Azuma: "They should recieve some kind of benefits given how increasingly dangerous their internship has become."

Lunamon:<I agree! We could have gotten killed at least twice today.>

Biyomon:<We didn't even damage anything.>

Kurata<Rest assured, I will contact Mr. Yamaki.>

Taiyo: "Is that all then?"

*Kylie picks up Lunamon*

Kylie:<See you guys.>

E"Later."

Kurata<Indeed.>
