Old Ones Return (IV)

Cameron:<The ones who kidnapped my sister.>

*They all look at Cameron like he's a complete idiot for about 10 seconds before they turn to the golden data stream surging towards them.*

Azuma: "Can all data streams be manipulated to appear in certain places or just this one?"

*Since Cameron was answering the first question asked he is confused as to why everyone is staring at him*

BL<Not a wise time to ask questions.>

*They are swallowed up in the data stream. The Leomons land gracefully on their feet on the other side, a floating city made of golden bricks. The buildings feature European castle architecture, with many towers of varying heights surrounding a keep with 4 towers. They are presently standing in a square with a marble fountain of a pod of dolphins spitting water everywhere. Various paths branch off of this one, leading to different parts of the city. Standing in front of them is a MagnaAngemon Priest Mode that was supposed to be the same Angemon they fought earlier, but because some asshole was absorbing random Digimons' data for no apparent reason, I have no idea if he's even still around.*

MA<We must make this quick. I don't want Zuuquaimon to find out about this.>

*Cameron and Biyomon presumably did not land on their feet and thus get up and walk over to MagnaAngemon*

Cameron:<Ok. Lead the way.>

Renamon doesn't absorb data all willy nilly like, so it likely is the same. Anywho, she lands on her feet, catching Taiyo.

The others lands less gracefully sans Patamon who uses his wings to slow his fall.

Azuma: "Zhuqiaomon? So which quadrant are we in then?"

Taiyo: "The south?"

*He turns, & begins leading them towards the keep.*

MA<I'm surprised you know so much already, but this territory is not like the others. We serve the Sovereign directly, so while you were brought her on Azulongmon's behalf, it doesn't mean that Zuuquaimon's supporters don't have a say.>

Azuma: "Not everyone is in favor of human involvement?"

Biyomon:<Of course not.>

MA<Look at what your involvement has already done.>

Cameron:<We haven't exactly been much help...>

*Cameron looks down as he follows*

Azuma: "We try."

Salamon opens her mouth to speak, but a stern look from Hitomi and she closes her mouth.

*As they approach the keep, the doors open in front of them, & out walks Seraphimon.*

S<Let us hear your plan.>

*Cameron and Biyomon bow*

Cameron:<We need to learn the secret of Biomerge Digivolution in order to have enough power to defeat those trying to destroy the digital world.>

Probably not a satisfactory answer.

Azuma: "That's not a plan."

Seraphimon<I can't tell you that, it would cloud your mind & block your ability to achieve it.>

*He turns his head to I guess look at Thiera, then points to DemiDevimon.*

Seraphimon<Is that a prisoner to interrogate for information?>

D<I'm her partner, you ass.>

Seraphimon<You expect us to fight alongside a demon? Absurd!>

*DemiDevimon stands up straight & flaps her wings about.*

D<QUIT BEING RACIST!>

BL<There are many kinds of justice in the world. Living in it, rather than looking down from the right hand of the Sovereigns, has allowed us to see potential allies where we were once thought to be alone.>

Biyomon:<You can't judge someone for being different from you.>

*Biyomon flaps his wings, looking angry*

Azuma: "They angels among us haven't exactly been rightous either."

*An Angewomon walks out from behind him.*

AW<Seraphimon, if you don't mind my saying, this is no time to judge our friends harshly.>

S<Hm...I suppose you're right...we still need a plan of attack.>

Cameron:<That's why we came to you.>

Azuma: "As much good as that's doing."

Seraphimon<I just wanted to hear your opinions. We should begin isolating their camps. Send the humans inside in disguise to assassinate their leaders, while our forces attack from without.>

*Biyomon shrugs*

<Sounds like a plan to me.>

Cameron:<My sister was infected with a parasite from the digital world and then her and her partner were kidnapped by the mercenaries. Is there anything you could do to help them? Please?>

Taiyo shrinks back, hiding behind Euryale, not liking this idea.

Azuma: "How do you propose we be disguised? I can't imagine they all wear matching uniforms."
