*Eve shrugs and finds a corner to sit in, then starts watching whatever game is being played*

Astarte grumbled and brought it back, trying again after spending a few moments trying to line up her aim.

Stefan wandered around, poking his head into rooms as he passed them and giving potted plants and paintings cursory looks.

OOC: As I grow tired of waiting....

*Astarte finally manages to clip it on the shoulder.*

R"And how are we going to do that? We just split into groups & search for him in broad daylight?"

E"I've been thinking about that. If we could convince Keter to buy a few rental cars, then we would be able to move around easier. We also wouldn't be limited to just 1 hide out."

R"Euryale, most of us don't know how to drive."

E"But I'm sure that enough of us do. There's Mortal & I, for starters."

*He closes the door after being pushed past, then sits down. They continue putting cards down, stiff & robotic, occasionally casting half-glances over to where Eve is sitting there awkwardly watching them.*

"I can drive as well," Noctis offered.

"Well, four of us still isn't that much," Mortal said.

"Cars can fit up to four or five people, so four should be fine," Noct said.

"If one of you get hurt and can't drive then we'll be stranded," Gabe pointed out.

"Wouldn't we have bigger problems at that point anyway?" Noctis replied.

Astarte pulled the ice back and liquefied it, spinning it around her waist before flinging it for the dummy's chest, attempting to freeze on impact.

R"Hey, not bad."

E"There aren't that many of us to begin with, so we shouldn't need to split into more than 2 or 3 groups."

Noct shook her head, and began to make her way over to the phone.

Astarte was surprised at being noticed again and turned a little pink, "Thanks."
She melted and retrieved the water.

*Assuming that she does call, she is once again redirected to Keter. She still sounds annoyed.*

E"We all live in that direction, relatively speaking. It might make more sense for you to show us around the industrial sector while someone else patrols the bay area."

V"But isn't that where Senthose is more likely to be?"

Hoping she really didn't have to resort to a sexy voice, Noctis just told Keter straight, "Euryale suggests that getting a few more automobiles would improve our current situation. We'd be able to travel easier, and we wouldn't be limited to only one shelter. I don't disagree with her, the only problem is, we have no means to get cars ourselves, so I was hoping you might do me the favor."

"What about them?" Mortal asked, "The less involved they are the better off we probably are in the long run... So do you think she is actually using a sexy voice?"

Astarte separated the water into two short spears and tried to hit with both of them at once.

Stefan heard Noct's voice through a wall and tried to sneak closer to eavesdrop.

*Eve nods*

Astarte liquefied them into puddles and slapped the dummy a few times before bringing them back.

Stefan listened as intently as he could while glancing around for other people.

V"I thought you were staying."

R"You make it sound like we're scamming her. Huh?"

*He looks over at Astarte.*

R"Well, I...kind of assumed that you'd be coming with me. Us."
