Eve:<I'm not sure it's worth it.>

T"The Shadow clearly has some link to the people of Pforzheim. Whoever is stalking us is intimately connected to it, to the point where they can take pictures of it without drawing its ire. If we investigate locations that it's frequented, we might be able to discover some record pointing to who they are, & what the link is."

*He's running for maybe 10 to 15 minutes when he gets clear enough to see that he's standing over a ravine, a sheer drop into the forest on both sides. A few miles up ahead is Pforzheim, a dark figure walking towards his general direction in the distance, too small to make out details. He can hear crashing in the forest that he just came out of, something running along trampling bushes & shoving branches out of the way, occasionally snapping them.*

*Eve sighs*

<I suppose there's no way around it. Let's do this before heavy snow comes.>

"I suppose if we're going to find anything it'll be in the creepy asylum, or the creepy orphanage," Hector said.

Grimm paused for a couple of breaths and started making his way towards Pforzheim, again at a run, and watched the dark figure as they came closer together.

Azuma: "All we have to do is go there."

"That sounds just great..." Gabe said.

*As they get closer, unsurprisingly, it begins to become clear that its face is black & it has a long coat & a porkpie hat.*

T"If we hurry, we can catch a bus. They're about in the same neighborhood."

Gabe let out a sigh. Sab just seemed worried, "We're not... all going, are we?"

Azuma: "We're all involved. And with more of us we can cover both areas."

Cameron:<We can't force anyone to go.>

"No, we can't force anybody, but Azuma is right," Hector said. "We're all involved and in danger- where ever we are- so we may as well all lend a hand."

Grimm slowed a little and looked to see how much space to move was available around it.

L"One thing to remember, not all of us came outfitted with the expectation of being Indiana Jones for a day."

Eve:<I know I didn't.>

*Eve groans and shakes her head*

<Well, we better hurry.>

Azuma: "Well boulder and spike traps shouldn't be an issue."

Noctis, worried for her friends, says, "I agree with Lilith. As much as I love Sab and Aroma, I don't think it'll be good if they come along. If anything goes wrong they're going to be the ones least able to defend themselves, rolling boulders or not."

"But they have a point," Gabe said, "At least this way we can all keep an eye on each other. I'd actually feel safer going on this crazy trip with you then going home alone."

L"Maybe we should take the time to prepare, & do this tomorrow."

T"We can't wait! Besides, what about classes?"

*Lilith shrugs.*

L"Skip 'em."

*Not much, as it disappears & reappears 20 feet away from him.*

Cameron:<We could be dead before tomorrow.>

Mimiru: "We have more important things to worry about than classes."

"I'm with Lilith again," Noct said, "Taking time to at least get our bearings would be nice. Hell, I'm still sore from falling out of a window."

"I've been meaning to ask about that," Gabe said, "Are you alright."

"My back, and shoulders hurt, but I don't think anything is broken," Noct said.

"But that means another day where we can be attacked," Sab said.

"We could be attacked on the bus for all we know," Noct pointed out.

"Today or tomorrow, I don't think we should leave just two or three people all alone, there is some safety in numbers," Hector said. "Also, it might be a good idea to get something like gloves and dust masks for everybody going, considering our destinations."
Astarte wordlessly reached out to Noct and rubbed a gentle hand across her upper back.

Grimm tried to move around as far from it as possible, beginning to reflexively recite to himself, "Ask of me and I shall give the heathen for thine bequest..."

*Thiera sighs.*

T"I guess, if we need time to prepare...we'll have to go tomorrow...."

L"It's the right decision. Now, come on, let's go get supplies."

*He doesn't move very far before it appears in front of him, lashing out towards his face. The contact leaves Grim with a severe burning sensation around his mouth. He also starts coughing up blood.*

Not wanting a reputation like Sab, Noct simply put a hand on Astarte's lap, and said to Gabe, "Hector is right, being alone right now would be dangerous. I have an apartment outside of the dorms, we could stay there with Sab and Aroma. Four of us together should be fine."

"What about Mortal?" Gabe asked, "She is going to be at the dorms alone."

"I could just text her to come along too," Noctis said.

Taiyo: "Will I be staying with you for a little longer?"

"Where can you buy flares around here?" Hector asked, looking over at Lilith. "Might be useful."

Grimm dashed to the side and tried to run past it, lifting a hand to roughly wipe blood from his mouth and gargling some more of his recital, "Utt-most part-- the Earth for--"

Cameron:<I'll stay at home.>

Eve:<We could check a camping supply store.>
