Better Left Forgotten

*Grimm is now running back towards a different part of the black forest. He hears a gunshot behind him.*

E"I guess, if you feel okay leaving your parents alone...."

L"That's probably our best bet."

A"But what if Mortal starts asking questions?"

Taiyo: "I don't want to, but...what if my being at home puts them in danger?"

Cameron:<Oh shit, maybe I shouldn't stay at home ether.>

"Tell her the truth," Noct said, "She should know anyway."

Gabe nodded, "True, but that aside, I doubt she'll ask too many questions, she probably wants the company."

"And my liquor..." Noct mumbled.

Sab put a hand over her mouth and sneakily pointed at Astarte, and whispered, "What about Astarte? Is she coming too?"

Noct looked at Astarte, who was presumably still sitting next to her, then back at Sab trying to understand how she thought she was being sneaky. Deciding to let the issue go, Noct turned to Astarte and said, "You're welcome to come too, Astarte. Unless you would prefer to stay with your brother."

E"Well...if you think that's best...."

L"I didn't really say that we should discuss sleeping arrangements right now, but okay."

*Cameron looks over at Hector and Eduj*

<Would it be possible to room with you guys? Assuming Astarte wants to room with Noct and co.>

Azuma: "No time like the present."

"Oh, that sounds good," Astarte smiled, despite feeling a little unwanted.
"Yeah, sure," Hector said to Cameron. "I'm going to head to the camping supply store and see if it's open. You want to come?"

He listened for an impact.

L"I was assuming that we were all going to come. Yeesh. Were you all always this good at planning, & communication?"

*He just hears more gunshots firing different ways. As he passes over the threshold of the forest, it slowly grows darker.*

Azuma: "He is how we got out of the woods."

Gabe giggled at Lilith's statement.

Sab gives Noct a thumbs up and smile.

Noct smiled, too, then chuckled at the thought of getting a girl to come over because of unnatural monsters.

"Well, do we really all need to go just to buy supplies? We have a head count, we just need a few to go along don't we?" Hector shrugged. Astarte just kept on rubbing Noct's sore back.

Grimm ducked behind a tree and looked back out of the tree line at where the shots were being fired.

OOC: I think that one reason Lilith comes across as so irritable is that I sometimes have her speak for me.

*Lilith pinches the bridge of her nose with 1 hand & points to the doorway with the other.*

L"Just go."

*Grimm sees basically nothing. But, unsurprisingly, he hears something approaching him in the forest.*

OOC: Being irritable by default doesn't help.

Azuma and Mimiru leave the room. Not going with those ponces, but just leaving the room.

OOC: You don't say!?

"Well, are we going to go?" Gabe asked, "I think we're leaving now."

"Sure," Noct said, standing, and extending her hand out to Astarte to help her up.

*Eve heads out, while Cameron joins Hector and Eduj*

Cameron:<Thanks.>

"No problem," Hector said as he and Eduj made their way out, Cameron presumably following. Astarte accepted the hand up.

Grimm broke out of the tree line again and started running along the path, away from whatever was approaching him.

*And so Grimm eventually makes it back to what might be called civilization, unfortunately.*

*As everyone files out of the door, Euryale calls to Mimiru & Azuma.*

"Hey! Where are you 2 going?"

Azuma: "Out there. It's a lot less cramped."

Noct waves to Lilith, "I'll see you tomorrow I guess." She was about to continue walking, but stopped, "Do you plan on telling Senthose?"

Grimm made for the nearest public building- like a service station- that he could see, tucking his pistol back under his shirt.

L"I guess I'll have to tell him something...but what? And, more importantly, what happened to shopping for supplies?"

*It's a long walk, but eventually, he arrives at a run-down gas station.*

*Cameron follows Hector and Eduj, while eve follows Thiera and Lilith*

Gabe frowned, "Maybe he'll believe you, but when I told him he thought I was crazy, and probably still thinks that. He also wouldn't believe Noctis' video either, and he and Mortal just kind of made fun of it over drinks..."

"Classy. Anyway, I never said I was going to go shopping," Noct said, "I thought that was you, and Hector, and the others."

L"Well, whatever. Your funeral, I guess. I'll think of something to tell him. What did he think the shadow monster was?"
