Episode Seven: Our War Game

R"That's overpowered!

*Aroma flits around, looking very uncomfortable, until she manages to grab on to Euryale & hold tightly, screwing her eyes shut. Euryale is surprised, & confused.*

D<We'll just have to Digivolve, too!>

*And so the trio Digivolve to the highest levels that they can.*

*As does Terriermon, Lunamon, and Biyomon, who then launch a combined attack*

Chrysalimon withdraws into its chrysalis to shield itself from the hungry Digimon's attacks.

Taiyo: "Renamon, are you okay?"

Renamon: "Yes."

Renamon Digivolves to Taomon while the other two Armor up and pursue Chrysalimon which takes off down the tunnel, absorbing the tunnels data through its tentacles.

*The others pursue, and rapidmon becomes GRapidmon*

Cameron:<This is total bullshit!>

*Follow & attack, I guess, even though this whole sequence is pointless & poorly thought out.*

Chrysalimon begins glowing and spins around, charging at them as it begins to Digivolve. The light fades and Infermon crashes into Rapidmon Bling, dragging him down.

Infermon: "You look good. Good enough to eat."

Pegasusmon and Nefirtimon wrap a Sanctuary Bind around Infermon and try to pull it off of Rapidmon Bling.

In a mountaintop castle on the Continent of Server, a gate opens up, multiple Digimon filing into it.

Piedmon: "Quickly now, single file. If you don't pass through you'll be going down with the castle."

Multiple Jokermon cartwheel through the gate as Baalmon enters the scene.

Piedmon: "You have the object?"

Baalmon: "You know the answer to that. One of the eight keys to Ogudomon's tomb. Now in your possession."

Baalmon hands the DigiMemory over, Piedmon looking bored with the description.

Piedmon: "I don't care about that. If I did, I would've taken the one Ebemon had when I stole the Digimental of Miracles. I just want it for the sake of having it. The key aspect, the power augmentation, none of that matters. I just want it. Now let's be on before Machinedramon levels this place."

*WarGrowlmon assists them in trying to pull off Infermon while Dorugreymon & Lilamon charge up their attacks.*

*GRapidmon tries to shoot Infermon, while Karatenmon and Lekismon assist in pulling him off*

Kylie:<(I wish...we could digivolve again...)>

The combined forces manages to pull Infermon off of Rapidmon Bling who fires a shot from its mouth at Rapidmon Bling at close range.

It then spins its head around and fires at Nefertimon, breaking the lasso as she evades.

E"You need to spread out if you're going to attack it!"

*And so WarGrowlmon flies away. As she has the smallest attacks, Lilamon fires lasers at it.*

*GRapidmon responds by firing at Infermon at close range. Lekismon and Karatenmon add in Tear Arrow and Feather Flare respectively*

Infermon withdraws into itself, the attacks harmlessly hitting its cocoon.

It springs up, latching on to the ceiling and begins to scamper away, occasionally firing a Hell's Grenade over its shoulder.

Nefertimon, Pegasusmon, and Taomon pursue.

*Everyone pursues and keeps attacking*

*The others also pursue, attacking it with their strongest projectile moves.*

It jumps from the ceiling to a wall, spinning around spitting a salvo of Hell's Grenade at them.

Amidst all the dodging that's to be down, it jumps off the wall and comes flying at them within its cocoon like a torpedo. A torpedo with a hate on for Rapidmon Bling and and sap that's in the way.

*WarGrowlmon & Lilamon strafe to the sides to continue their assault, as Dorugreymon spits out his giant Fuck Dodging cannonball.*

*GRapidmon gets the fuck out of the way while firing at it. Everyone continues to attack*

Infermon smashes into the floor, making a large crater the surface surrounding it is cracked, the cracks progressively spreading outward like a web.

In its cocoon, Infermon resides at the bottom of the crater face-down. Its cocoon shows minor wear, but it doesn't seem to be moving.

*The Digimon resume firing their strongest attacks at it.*

*All digimon continue attacking*

They hear the sound of breaking glass before the lights go out.

Rapidmon Bling feels something breathing down his neck, whispering 'Hello," in his ear before being pummeled mercilessly.

Aroma feels someone grab her hand. She can't see who, but it shouldn't be any mystery as to who it is.

*GRapidmon tries to punch Infermon/Diaboramon, while protecting Eve with the other arm*

There is some excrutiating pain and when light returns in the form of the words HELLOHELLOHELLO scrolling by all around them, Rapidmon Bling has been stripped of his armor.

The mystery of who is touching on Aroma's hand is solved, the suspect being none other than Taiyo.

Crawling above them is Diaboromon, bits of gold on its arms.

Azuma: "Diaboromon. Mega-level."

With a series of sickening cracks, Diaboromon's spins so it's facing them, the cannon in its chest glowing, ready to fire.

*GRapidmon degrades back to Terriermon, who is then caught by Eve*

Eve:<Roatha, a little help?>

*Everyone else fires on Diaboramon*

OOC: Okay, the reason I didn't post earlier is because it could have been either Taiyo or Diaboromon, which really changes the context of the situation, & how it would be reacted to. Be online.

*The trio presumably huddles up into some kind of weird lesball. Roatha kind of spins around in his attempts to move anywhere. Instead, Lilamon swoops down & grabs her, flying her towards the other humans.*

L<It's okay, I've got you.>

*Meanwhile, the other Digimon form a wall between Diaboromon & said humans & continue firing their attacks.*
