*Outside, Ikkakumon is half-waddling-half-hopping down the street, with the others on its back, obviously fleeing the scene.*

Hideki: "Get out! Monodramon, Digivolve!"

Monodramon Digivolves to Strikedramon, growling and flexing its fists.

"We'll go. C'mon, Taiyo."

*They all collectively tase Strikedramon.*

Taiyo follows after Euryale.

Hideki swipes the Darkness Wave card and Strikedramon fires off eye lasers at the agents.

*Lyra and Kotemon hold on as tightly as possible*

Lyra:<What now!?>

*So they head up the staircase*

*The darkness wave card does not give eye lasers! They all dive away from the blast of darkness, but Strikedramon can barely move from the tasers. One of the agents reaches for a can of mace, while the rest reach for their guns.*

*Euryale, Taiyo, Agumon, Thiera, DemiDevimon, & presumably Renamon are also coming down the staircase. Euryale tries holding up her D-Power to give them more light, which Thiera emulates.*

*King Drasil makes a jab at Hitomi. His hand phases through her chest & he withdraws a pulsing gray [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Hitomi falls unconscious, & he holds it in Azuma's face.*

*They take cover behind the nearest wall or furniture, except for the one with the mace, who sprays Hideki right in the face.*

T"Wow, these stairs go really far down."

E"Yeah, what is this, like the twelfth turn we've taken?"

*Fortunately for those whiners, it eventually levels off into a corridor.*

T"So which door do we take?"

*Euryale looks over Kylie's shoulder.*

E"Looks like almost the last one on the right."

A<This is a wild goose chase, you know. There's no such thing as a level beyond Mega.>

*Kylie tries to open the illuminated door. If she can not do it alone, everyone else helps*

Azuma: "Who are you to pass judgment when you willingly perform despicible acts like this?"

Azuma approaches Drasil, drawing his knife.

Azuma: "If he can't get to you, then I'll do it."

Renamon sets to help open the door.

Hideki swings blindly at the Agent while Strikedramon lets out another Darkness Wave at the other Agents before turning on the other Agent, body heating up.

Strikedramon: "Your fight is with me."

A<That guy is crazy, the Sovereigns have been the Gods of the Digital World for years, he can't just--just barge in & start making up new rules!>

*With all of them together, they push the door open pretty easily.*

E"Well, he did kind of indicate that he came from another Digital World. Maybe that's why we don't know about it."

A<So why should we be able to do something they can do there?>

*As indicated, a polished, waist high pedestal of silver sits at the end of the otherwise featureless room. Its only blemish is a port on the top that matches the port on the D-Power.*

*The aura in his hand compresses down to a tight ball in his palm. He curls his fingers slightly. He stares at it dully.*

*They fire at Strikedramon from behind their cover. The agent blocks Hideki's strike & knees him in the stomach.*

Salamon: "By harming those that are trying to help? What kind of jerk God are you?"

Azuma stabs at Drasil.

Azuma: "I'll kill you."

Strikedramon roars and grabs the agent that is assaulting Hideki.

Hideki: "Strikedramon...settle down."

*Kylie approaches the pedestal, then tries connecting her D-Power via the port at the top*

*In a flash, the ring of the D-Power changes to gold with some kind of runes around them.*

E"I, uh, guess that means it's done?"

T"Hey, aren't there stories about one of the Tamers during the D-Reaper incident having a D-Power like that?"

E"...Maybe?"

*Euryale shrugs.*

A<Who never went to a level beyond Mega. I told you, we're wasting our time here.>

"They have to have some way to get into the Digital World at Hypnos, right? Maybe we could sneak in & find it."

*Electric gold energy pulses through him, throwing him back against the wall. It's quite painful, & his knife lands beside him. Shadows seep from under MagnaAngemon's armor.*

<You could save her if you were Biomerged! Your rage blinds you! Let it go, & do what needs to be done! This is your last chance!>

*The agent is helpless, as Strikedramon has clearly regained full movement, which I most likely forgot to mention earlier. Hideki is still blind & suffering from extreme eye & sinus pains. The other agents resume firing into the Digimon's back.*

Azuma: "Shut up!"

MagnaAngemon: "Azuma, calm down. We can save her, but not like this."

Azuma grabs his knife, squeezing it and raises his D-Power in his other hand.

Azuma: "There's no coming back if this fails. MagnaAngemon, Biomerge Digivolution!"

Strikedramon tosses the agent aside who's not likely to be in a good position, being held by a flaming dragon then turns on the other agents with a Darkness Wave.

Hideki: "Strikedramon...yield!"
