Old Ones Return (V)

Kylie:<Hey, don't forget about us!>

*Kylie, holding Lunamon, walks over Thiera. Cameron gives a small wave*

T"Either way, there's nothing that we can do about it now, is there? Even if Kurata did find it, it's a power that he already has."

E"I suppose you're right. Let's move inside, then."

*Grabbing Agumon's...claw & putting an arm around Taiyo, she heads for the door. Thiera & Tsune shrug & follow, their respective partners jumping on their shoulders.*

The other two make their way through the door.

Hideki: Quite a few couples.

*So everyone follows*

*When they get into the kitchen, they find a sink full of soapy dishes, a towel on the floor, & several cupboards hanging open. The kitchen is completely deserted.*

D<The Gazimon must have made a break for it once they realized we killed Etemon.>

E"Because they're going to fare so much better out there with the evil army hunting down Digimon. Oh well, that's karma, for you."

*She heads over to check what's in the fridge.*

E"Unsurprisingly, mostly banana stuff...and insects, which I guess was for Arukenimon."

T"Ew."

*Agumon starts putting some pans on the stove.*

E"Since we don't have much of a choice about what we eat, I suggest that the cards should go to whoever vanquished the Digimon. But I don't need WaruMonzaemon's or Phantomon's."

Cameron:<Um, alright then.>

*Lunamon and Kylie go to help Agumon, while Lyra stares around the room*

Azuma: "We don't really need most of the cards we have. What am I going to do with a Reload card? Patamon or any of his forms don't shoot bullets."

E"Could use it when his Boom Bubble becomes weak, or stops working."

Azuma: "When does that ever happen? When are we going to see Dark Spires ever again? We're all familiar with the t.v show to know how those things work."

Cameron:<I assume we will if they are Kurata's invention.>

E"Then don't take any. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth."

*Then MadLeomon lopes back in.*

ML<I found the Reapermon card.>

A<Boy, that was fast.>

Lyra:<We're kinda low on cards, so if you have anything you don't want...>

*She gestures to herself, hideki, and Tsune*

Hideki just shrugs.

Taiyo: "We're not eating bugs, are we?"

E"Banana bread, banana pie, peanut butter & banana sandwich, banana fruit salad, banana split, bananas...take your pick."

*Thiera reaches into her pocket, but DemiDevimon tugs on her hair with her claw. Thiera yelps, her eyes watering slightly.*

D<Don't you dare! We only have 2 cards, & you know it!>

E"Well, I suppose that one of you could have the Brave Shield, considering we now have one of our own."

*She fist bumps Agumon.*

ML<...Is anyone going to take this?>

Hidaki does because why not.

*Lyra gestures at Tsune to take the card*

*Tsune looks surprised. Shrugging, she takes the shield card.*

Ts"...Thanks."

E"No problem. Are the Gekomon here?"

ML<Some. The rest are coming. I've told them that they may need to defend this hall.>

E"Good. In that case, I think we should split up."

D<Are you crazy? That never ends well. Didn't you watch Scooby Doo?>

*Euryale & Agumon start setting the table, Thiera following suit.*

E"Actually, no. But look, we have battles going on all over the Digital World. We can't just wait around for trouble to come to us. We need to be able to deal with problems in different areas at once."

Azuma: "Except we don't have any leads to go on. Were we even going somewhere before being abducted to here?"

Cameron:<Theoretically, how would we split up?>

ML<That isn't a problem. I can take you to Regulumon & IceLeomon.>

E"The real problem is how we stay in touch."

T"Those big beams are there to transmit data, right? Surely we could use Etemon's equipment to package a message & send it through one."

E"That's a good point, but will we be able to chart where it leads? They change destinations, remember?"

T"We won't know until we try."

Azuma: "You'd think we'd have some kind of communication device at all times."

Cameron:<Hopefully some of it still works.>

*Lunamon and Kylie help set the table, then bring the food over*

E"Why would we have that? How would we have that?"

T"Oh! Oh...oh no! We never removed the surveillance equipment from our D-Powers, have we?!"

Cameron:<Oh shit. Does it still work?>

Azuma: "Probably."

Hideki: "They put it in everyone's?"
