Episode Nine: The Beast

R"Good. I guess."

Taiyo: "It sounded like they were going to lead whatever attacked away."

Azuma: "I can't tell if it's following or not. Can you hear anything?"

Pipismon: "Not while it's underwater."

Rapidmon:<So they can come back and act like they're the heroes?>

Eve:<Calm down.>

*Shrugs all around.*

Hunger is probably setting in at this point, although they're all likely to starve to death at this point because surprise they're literally doing nothing and Euryale either dropped or forgot about the fish she was tasked with holding.

An island comes into view. In the center is a cave surrounded by dead trees and scorched earth. The place where they had spent their previous night in the Digital World before going home for a short time.

OOC: People don't starve to death in a few hours. Seriously, they just landed. The reason no one is doing anything is you have not been letting anything happen.

*I guess they search around the island for food*

OOC: They were making camp, then it was all "SURPRISE ATTACK! BIG DAMN HEROES! GO TO NEXT ISLAND!"

E"Gonna need a fire to cook this thing."

R"You mean a fire like we could have had on the other island?"

A"How are we gonna open these coconuts?"

OOC: Don't blame me for your lack of taking initiative. Whenever I said "Let's do this," it was met with a resounding "No, that's dumb." You bitch when shit is laid out for you and when it's not and you're given the opportunity to do anything, you plain ol' don't.

Taiyo: "One of the Digimon can open them, right?"

Renamon breaks branches off of the nearby trees, trying to ignore the petrified Gaomon.

They land, the Digimon reverting to their Rookie forms.

Salamon: "Nice to see nothing changed here."

OOC: We have been trying, however you haven't been letting us.

*Still searching*

OOC: They were making camp & talking about things. You insisted that everyone pack up & move. Also, I remind you again, I just want this shit to fucking END already.

R"Can they do it without spilling or burning what's inside?"

OOC: I wasn't the one saying no to anything and everything. "This island is kind of inadequate for what we need. Maybe the other one is a bit better?" "No, that's dumb."

Renamon makes a shallow hole in the sand, her hand igniting the kindling which she then drops. The flames transition from blue to red.

Taiyo: "I don't know. What did we do last time?"

As predicted, the fish was likely forgotten about. At the feet of the petrified Gaomon is a cluster of orangish brown mushrooms with purple spots on the cap.

They enter the cave, Azuma winding up his flashlight to show them the way. Inside is a whole lot of nothing except for a computer with a broken screen. He lools at his Digivice which shows nothing in the area other than them.

Azuma: "Gate's closed."

Hitomi: "Would you have gone back if it weren't?"

Azuma: "No. But Aroma & Roatha seemed like they'd want to."

OOC: It would be dumb to spend hours flying to an island you know nothing about. It's like you don't put any thought into these scenarios at all.

R"I don't remember."

*He heads over & pats Renamon on the back.*

R"Hey, thanks. I don't care what anyone else says, you're really smart."

*Then he heads off to glare at a coconut, presumably trying to intimidate it. Guilmon runs up.*

G<Maybe I can claw through one.>

*He pokes it. Meanwhile, Euryale finds a stick to stab into that fish so you'll fucking shut up about it.*

*Biyomon digivolves to Karatenmon and slashes at one of the coconuts with his sword*

Lunamon:<No other food here other than some mushrooms...>

Renamon looks confused about what Roatha has to say.

Taiyo: "What do you mean? Who said something about her?"

Renamon: "Those mushrooms are poisonous."

Azuma builds a fire on top of the remains of their previous one.

Patamon: "I'm hungry."

Azuma: "Nothing around here. Can one of you two find something in the ocean?"

Salamon: "I guess."

Salamon Digivolves then Armor Digivolves, Tylomon sliding into the ocean.

*Don't know if it worked, so I'll just assume it did*

Lunamon:<Oh, then we won't eat them.>

Eve:<I think we have enough food anyway.>

E"Don't mind him, he's just joking."

D<Think we can smell the poison?>

*I suppose they keep trying to open the coconuts while Euryale cooks this fish.*

A"Do you think there's any seaweed?"

R"Better question, do you think we should go near the water?"

The coconut splits open like their head would have if it had fallen on them.

Taiyo: "Right...."

*Lunamon goes over near the shallows*

Kylie:<Be careful!>

*Lunamon looks around for seaweed/sea life*

*They start eating coconuts as gods. Euryale checks on the fish.*

It's not on fire.

In the shallows is seaweed as expected and nothing in the way of fish or anything like that.

Taiyo presumably partakes in the feast of coconuts, trying to mask her distaste for it.

Taiyo: "What happens if someone eats the mushrooms?"

Renamon: "Long term memory loss. Why do you ask?"

Taiyo: "Just curious."

Tylomon washes up on the shore and spits out a couple fish with a "Bleck!"

Tylomon: "Why did it have to be me?"

Patamon: "How would I catch them? Skewer them on my super poisonous tail?"

*So everyone has some coconut, while Lunamon runs over to Aroma carrying a ton of seaweed*

<Here you go!>

R"What, don't like coconuts?"

A"This is great, thanks!"

*She takes the seaweed & pats Lunamon on the head.*

Taiyo: "Not really."

*Lunamon hugs her, then goes over to get some coconut*

Eve:<Then I hope you like fish and seaweed.>

OOC: I completely forgot what I was going to post in here.
