*Assuming nobody makes small talk, they are eventually approached by Vanessa, who has some bags under her eyes, but overall is looking pretty well. She even has a new-looking black winter coat, the pockets of which she has her hands in.*

Astarte found herself able to keep from looking away, but still kept her mouth shut.

"I was attacked by a group of thugs with knives inside of my own church grounds," Grimm stated evenly. "They entered uninvited, suggested that I was 'dead', then jumped me. I was beaten unconscious and cut on the wrist after fighting back with justifiable force. That is all."

"I-I... Well, I, saw some people," Stefan spoke like a shy kid giving a speech. "People gang, uh, trying to kill a priest. One of them hit me in the nose and it feels kind of broken... I didn't start anything."

Eve:<I'm sorry, we've had a long morning. No need to snap.>

*She texts Lilith there location and tells the others to meet them*

*Lilith responds that she's on her way. Vanessa makes a noise & leads them into the cafe. She heads to a more enclosed booth in the back where a relatively short woman, maybe an inch or 2 above 5 feet is drinking a coffee. She wears a long, plain gray dress that matches her hair, which is tied back. Her skin is slightly loose, indicating that she is elderly, but she has little to no sign of skin or breathing disability.*

Vanessa<Well, I brought them.>

*The woman glances at them, then pulls a piece of paper out of her pocket to read it.*

Woman<There should be 16 of you left. Oh, that's odd, one of the names has reappeared. Olligschläger, Stefan. Look out for that one, it never brings them back out of the kindness of its heart. Though even if someone's name is here, that doesn't mean that Ira doesn't have them. You have met Ira by now, correct?>

Eve:<Good morning Professor. Ira sent us a recorded message a while ago telling us who he was and that an ally would meet us soon.>

*She sits down next to her and gets out her laptop*

<Ever since we were rescued weird stuff's been happening to us. Our friend Roatha disappeared a day or two ago and we thought he might have gone to the church. When we got there, we went inside and found the priest. He had a gun out so we tried to leave, but he went for Euryale.>

*Takes a breath*

<He had her on the ground so Tirea and I went to try and get him off. This guy with a bayonet about our age stabbed her in the back while we were running, and while trying to fight Euryale the priest shot Azuma.>

*Another breath*

<I hit the guy in the head with my backpack and he ran off, while Euryale and Mimiru knocked out Grimm. That's when we called you.>

"Yes, we're done."

"I'm sorry!" Stefan wiped sweat from his brow. "I don't tell lies, I was raised to never tell lies. Thank you for your help..."
