Mimiru: "Someone thought it was a good idea to go to that church for whatever reason. I had only vaguely heard about the place from those that had been there previously to visit the priest for....I don't know, an assignment or something.

Either way, we went there and he starts waving a gun around and that weird kid showed up and started swinging that bayonet around. Azuma....Azuma tried to disarm him and the priest....shot him."

Lara<That's quite alright. I already know what he would say. He told you how it gave him the power to move through time & influence the actions of others, most notably by controlling his direct descendents, such as Roatha. He also probably questioned my trustworthiness.>

*At this time, Thiera, Senthose, & Lilith enter the cafe.*

<I don't know, maybe. Before I would have said no way in hell, but now that he's disappeared...By weird stuff, I meant like Tirea's house getting broken into and her parents dying of cancer out of the blue.>

*He puts his hands on the table*

<And this happened after Tirea texted back a number that's been harassing us ever since we got back. She also ended up in the hospital at about the same time after being attacked on campus.>

"Thank you, officer," Grimm got up and made to leave, but stopped to look over his shoulder. "Would you happen to know whether Astarte Cyprus's father has any notion of the events surrounding his daughter and these others? I recall he serves in this department."

Stefan bit his lip and looked away, "Well I didn't know, I mean he wasn't dead when I last saw him. How did you know...?"

Jane<You are beginning to sound like a conspiracy theorist. Do you realize that? And how do you know that your friend is missing if it's only been a day or so? Maybe he's visiting family.>

"Okay," Stefan glanced about nervously. "So, uh... where do I stand on that... this?"

Mimiru: "When he started waving a gun around, Euryale attacked him. She had a knife she got for some hiking trip. Azuma had his pocket knife."

*Cameron shrugs*

*She gets up & begins heading to the door.*

Grimm walked out and found his way to the front desk where he requested his items be returned as the officer had said.

"What happens to me now?"

Astarte waited for somebody else to follow first.

Cameron:<I think it's connected to the people that have been harassing us. Some other friends of ours disappeared at the same time. They were attacked by a group of guys before.>

*Eve gets up and follows, motioning for Astarte to follow her*

*Anyone with sense is now following Lara. Once she exits the cafe, she turns to the dorm building.*

*Thiera looks around, noting that all of the people in the area are now too far away to hear them, as long as they don't yell.*

T"But Stefan had a cross, which didn't bother the Shadow at all. Are you saying that its weakness is silver?"

Lara<No, but something much more dangerous, which could be mistaken for silver. And even then, it's not the metal that harms the Shadow, it's the radiation that it gives off. Remember, things aren't always what they seem.>

Grimm turned and left without bothering to continue and waited outside for Stefan.

"Okay, I will, I promise," Stefan nodded.

What kind of hospital doesn't keep in contact with the police after getting a shooting victim?

*She pushes the button for the elevator & manages to get an empty one. So she & Vanessa step in. Senthose, Lilith, & Thiera reluctantly follow.*

"We won't be wasting any time," Grimm clapped Stefan on the shoulder and began walking in the direction of Astarte's home, having found her address back when finding her home number. Stefan started after him and looked around nervously. "You are still with me, yes?"
"Yes..."

Detecting any kind of reluctance in the others had Astarte spooked and she did not step inside.

Mimiru: "Okay."

Jane<Okay, off the record--what the Hell is going on, here? I remember working on that case, but not the names of any of the victims, & I can't find their files. In fact, there's no record of any students by those names being enrolled at Ulm Pforzheim at all. Are you kids trying to play some kind of a prank? You'd better not be, tampering with police investigations is a serious crime!>

*She smacks her fist onto the desk for emphasis.*

Astarte cringed and changed her mind at the last possible moment, slipping into the elevator.

On they went.

Mimiru: "No, that's okay."

She walks out of the room.

Cameron:<It's more of that weird stuff that's been going on since we got back. Do you remember when we met before at that house where the owners had collapsed and then died of cancer randomly?>
