*Lilith puts the phone on speaker & sets it on the bed.*

L"Alright, what do you want to know?"

Jane<Just one thing: Do you know where he is?>

*The voice in his head that totally doesn't mean he's insane tells him that his enemies are the sinners of this world; the unbelievers, the false prophets, the sodomites, & those who kill or steal without God's commands, which the voice elaborates are his commands. It says that Ira has been chosen to lead them into Hell, as Satan was allowed to curse Job to bring him closer to God.*

Azuma: "You not see the part where the doctors were asking me questions to make sure I don't have a concusion?"

Grimm bowed his head again in contemplation of the information the voice was feeding him, tuning out Stefan's sudden outrage. Stefan advanced on Grimm, demanding to know how this could be okay, how he could possibly side with a person who tortures and murders anybody and how he could still be calling himself a man of God. Grimm looked up in time to hear that last part, and Stefan continued, "He's a liar and he's using you! God is forgiving and benevolent, but you're letting that kid and his monster convince you otherwise because you're afraid of him--"
Grimm backhanded Stefan to the floor, "You have no idea what you are talking about, boy."
Stefan edged back away from him, "I do know, you piece of shit, I know I let myself sin out of fear and confusion but I won't--"
"Won't what?" Grimm leaned down towards Stefan and sneered. "You won't do as you're told? You'll disobey the word of God? You will risk His ire?"

Eve:<He's likely at the old church some of our friends were at earlier or the asylum.>

Tirea:<He kicked our asses and left.>

*At the statement that God is forgiving & benevolent, Stefan is reminded of him flooding the world, destroying Sodom & Gomorrah, the many people the Israelites were ordered to destroy, the many Biblical laws carrying the death penalty, & the passages on Hell & Revelation.*

L"That sounds about right, but I don't think you should go looking for him."

Jane<And why's that?>

L"He's--well--not himself. Uh--plit personality! Very dangerous."

Jane<So he went crazy & THAT'S why he kidnapped Aroma Zingingzer & Sab Rosa? Is that what you're telling me?>

Azuma: "Why should we believe you? Word is the priest that shot me isn't locked up. Ain't too big of a stretch to think you're letting any other loons wander around freely."

"I know... I know that God wouldn't turn my life into this!" Stefan lifted himself up, justifying to himself that he took most of the events of the Bible on a metaphorical level to begin with. "I won't let you besmirch the God I've known my whole life, you spineless-- hey!"
Grimm grabbed Stefan by the collar and dragged him to the door, shoving him out and onto his ass, "Fine! Take your chances! I have heard the word of God and I refuse to shelter a coward and a doubter!"

Eve:<Crazy is close enough. He's also killed a few of use in the last day.>

Cop<You seem to be suggesting that the Pforzheim Police Department is somehow conspiring against you.>

Jane<That's a serious accusation. What makes you say that?>

Azuma: "I'm saying the police force is dirty. Unless you have a better explanation for why the man who shot me is walking the streets right now."

Stefan was still down on the ground when Grimm slammed the doors in his face. Standing, he sniffled and dusted himself off, then started walking into town to find a crowded place like a food court to sit.

Grimm stormed into the back room to make himself an angry cup of tea.

Eve:<We were sent some rather gruesome images.>

Cop<I think that's enough. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to resume the investigation & speak with your doctors.>

*Instead he finds himself put into a choke hold & dragged into an alley by Senthose, who appears to have stolen clothes from a hobo.*

L"She's right, telling her this is pointless. Ira has a lot of ways to make things disappear."

Jane<Who in the world is Ira?>

L"Roatha's split personality."

Jane<This story is ridiculous.>

L"It's the version of the truth that you're most likely to believe."

Jane<Now that's scary.>

Azuma: "Like that'll go over well."

Eve:<Well, I gave it my best shot.>

Stefan thrashed around, "Oh please, who is this?! Are you with Ira?!"

Tea time in Grimm's quaint little church.

*Senthose squeezes harder to cut off his speech. Also breathing.*

"No. I plan to kill Ira, I just need a weapon. You wouldn't know where I could get a gun, would you?"

*He relaxes his grip on Stefan's throat just slightly.*

L"I guess so. Can you let us know if you find him?"

Jane<Of course I will be coming to question you if I do.>

*Lilith sighs.*

L"I guess that's good enough. Just...be careful, Officer."

Jane<You don't need to be concerned for me. I'm not afraid of some punk, no matter how twisted he may be.>

"G-Grimm, Grimm's..." Stefan's thrashing died down. "Gun. On him. Please..."

Grimm took his tea out and sat at a front pew with a copy of the Bible.

Eve:<Do not underestimate him. If you take anything from this conversation much it that.>

Jane<Duly noted.>

*The phone clicks off.*

L"Well...should we go to the hospital, then?"

Eve:<I don't see a better option. We should probably go tell Astarte and Nero what's going on.>

"I don't know!" Stefan tried to shake his head. "It's the only one I know about, I'm not helping him any more, I promise!"

"Then prove it by helping me get it off of him."
