Hitomi and Angewomon get the hell through the portal followed by Mr. & Mrs. Alla.

*Patamon, of course, fails. Mr. Rakshashi points at Kurata.*

Mr.<Hey, that's the guy who threw us in prison!>

Mrs.<And you told us Euryale died--you were trying to get rid of her, weren't you!?>

Kurata<Well, you're smarter than you look.>

Female Mercenary<...No offense, Sir, but that was kind of lame.>

Kurata<Regardless.>

<"Yes, he's a bad man, but don't worry about him, we'll handle this! Venusmon, open the portal, everyone else, hold them off!">

Kurata<Do it. I'll send some Gizumon to back you up.>

*Kurata turns to head back up the stairs with a wave of his hand. The man & woman are both surrounded by red Lights of Digivolution. A burst of fire emerges from the woman's. Spreading wings & a snapping tail dispel her aura to reveal Megidramon. A torrent of darkness emerges from the man's. Red eyes within the darkness faintly illuminate the cloaked form of Daemon. Meanwhile, Venusmon flicks her fingers like she's sprinkling something, causing a Digital Field to begin expanding from her hands.*

Ikkakumon<Regardless, it's just you, me, & Sakuyamon now.>

Ophanimon<Technically, you mean to say, "you, Sakuyamon, & I." You see, the implied clause to that sentence is--">

*Her explanation is drowned out by the shattering barrier.*

Ikkakumon<No time for a grammar lesson! Harpoon Torpedo!>

*Tactimon catches it as Ophanimon generates some Sephirot Crystals & fires them.*

<"You have to degenerate in order to pass through the portal, so go first, & we'll cover you!">

*In stark contrast to the violence going on in the human world, everyone who passed through the portal finds themselves standing in the plains in view of Venusmon's Sanctuary, tall grass swaying in a warm breeze. They didn't appear in exactly the same spot, but nobody is more than 20 feet away from anyone else. Far off to the east, a pillar of violet light can be seen behind the sanctuary & some snow capped mountains. A similar pillar can be seen on the horizon to the west. Unfortunately, what can also be seen in that direction are holes opening in the sky about 200 feet off, with Gizumon pulling themselves through.*

They all book it through the portal as there is no way they're doing a damn thing.

Sakuyamon conjures up some fox spirits to swarm Tactimon while her parents flee through the portal as I forgot to mention it previously.

*Everyone but Dianamon heads through the portal as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Dianamon remains to back up WarGreymon*

Dianamon:<Two on two. Seems more fair than usual.>

Data<Your calculations are inaccurate--our side is, in actuality, composed of 4 separate Digimon.>

*The enemy Bio-Hybrids decide to fill the corridor with an immense blast of flame.*

*When he's unable to block them all, the skeletons climb over each other to create a wall to protect Tactimon, being shattered into pieces in the process. Gomamon reverts & starts hopping towards the portal, but Tactimon slashes downwards, sending a shockwave at him.*

*He points to the Gizumon, who have of course begun their flight over.*

*Dianamon spins her scythe to block some of the flames Anime Style*

*Cameron and Biyomon biomerge, then Ornismon takes to the air, shrieking and sending a dazzling laser out of his mouth at the Gizumon. Knightmon approaches on foor*

Sakuyamon moves to intercept the attack.

Monodramon Digivolves for some inane reason as who knows if Venusmon's curse has worn off.

*Since all that has been specifically said is that she has moved in the line of fire, I guess Sakuyamon has been slashed, & now pieces of her armor are breaking off.*

<"Go through after him! Then I'll come through with MadLeomon!">

Tactimon<I've no intention of letting you escape. My undead army has you surrounded, & is ready to-->

*Ophanimon's wings & javelin seem to burst into flame, & in the flash, her armor changes color. She then swings, causing 3 bursts of flaming light to tear through the undead & forcing Tactimon to jump back to avoid it.*

Tactimon<What in the world is this!? A Mode Change into an undocumented subspecies?>

OOC: Before anyone complains, I want to post a reminder that I specifically said that anyone who's signed up a Burst Mode can use it at any time after obtaining Mega form.

*WarGreymon, Venusmon, Dianamon, & Datamon are hurled through a new portal by a pillar of fire that also shoots out of it. WarGreymon limps to her feet.*

<"We have to get out of here! Kurata will just keep sending more reinforcements!">

Venusmon<You may join my Followers & I in flight, forsaking this valley for the Tunnel to Hope & Light.>

*Tsune turns & tosses up her arms, but Gomamon doesn't turn away from watching the advancing threat*

Ts"So hurry up & show us where it is!"

G<Yeah, not to be rude, but the Gizumon will be able to hit us soon.>

*Tsune lowers her arms & tears up a bit.*

Ts"...I'm so sorry for being rude, Lady Venusmon."

*Dianamon stands up as well*

<Let's hurry. Ornismon should follow.>

Sakuyamon goes through the portal.

Azuma: "You got a magic carpet to carry everyone?"

<"Don't answer him, just lead the way!">

Data<I must protest that you presume to address Lady Venusmon in such a vulgar manner!>

<"No time! Just hurry before your little robot butt gets blown off!">

*She shoos him away, just before a Gizumon's laser would have struck, & turns her head towards Sakuyamon. He follows Venusmon back in the direction of the Sanctuary.*

<"I'm glad you're okay. That just leaves Thiera & DemiDevimon--oh, yeah, & MadLeomon. Where are they?">

*As one might guess, the Gizumon are now firing, even though they're between 50 & 75 feet away. However, new Digital Tears are opening all around their location, seeping red ooze.*

*Ornismon dives out of any beams coming his way before firing again. Dianamon shepards the Sorensons and Psyches away*

Ornismon:<I'll try and wait for her!>

Sakuyamon: "They haven't come through yet."

Angewomon fires arrows at the Gizumon.

*As promised, Ophanimon eventually backs out of the portal, holding MadLeomon. However, things quickly become a clusterfuck as the area is filled with skeletons, Gizumon, & converted Digimon, plus the Bio-Hybrids coming through."

E<"I'll make a path!">A

*So she tornado's through a bunch of Gizumon & converted Digimon, knocking them over & heading towards the screen. Ophanimon tries to ward off as many skeletons as possible with her javelin & flies after her. Gomaon Digivolves to Ultimate & picks Tsune up, bashing away enemies with his hammer. Unfortunately, he is also a big target, & it's not long at all before large swaths of his shell have been stripped away by the corrosive attacks of the artificial Digimon.*

Tactimon<Gevurah, after them. Vanessa, stick with me to pick off the stragglers.>

*He approaches the fleeing Rakshashis with his blade drawn in front of him. Daemon flies towards those fleeing for the stream, lobbing fireballs at them.*

*Dianamon takes to the air and fires an Arrow of Artemis at Daemon, while the fleeing humans try and not get hit. Knightmon digivolves and picks up Lyra and her family. Meanwhile, Ornismon roars and firs on Tactimon*

Assuming Venusmon's curse has worn off because this would be mad counter productive, Cyberdramon roars and takes after the Gizumon, energy circulating around its claws as it rolls and weaves to avoid lasers.

Sakuyamon envelopes Daemon in fire while Azuma and the parental figures flee.

OOC: It. Was. Not. A. Curse.

*There are Gizumon all around him, & the ones he's attacking are more than happy to bite the bullet to wrap their limbs around him, to hold him down for the others to fire upon, & maybe even get a point blank shot in themselves. Tactimon uses his sword to deflect the laser back at Ornismon. The skeletons begin to form a perimeter around this group. As Daemon falls out of the sky, Venusmon, Datamon, & those who followed them 1st start to cross the stream, which now simply forms a bridge of giant flowers instead of miniature rafts.*

E<"Where are my parents?">A

*As she looks back, something strange happens with Megidramon. Beams of red light begin shooting out of the Digital Hazard symbol on her chest. Where they strike the ground, it cracks, & where they hit the sky, storm clouds gather.*

*Ornismon flies out of the way. Meanwhile, Dianamon fires on Daemon again. Knightmon and the others cross the river*

<Ophanimon, we need to DNA digivolve!>

Angewomon fires on the Gizumon wrapped around Cyberdramon while Sakuyamon lets loose with fox spirits on the skeletons.

Ophanimon<You're probably right!>

*So they fly towards each other & become a giant, glowing bird, with 2 humans sitting on top. Varudoromon immediately starts blasting light rays at Tactimon, who staggers from the assault.*

Tactimon<It attacks fast, but it won't be able to dodge well with those kids on its back!>

Megidramon<Understood.>

*She opens her mouth to let loose a torrent of flame, but has to duck aside when War Greymon almost Great Tornado's through her chest. She blasts the fire at War Greymon instead. The cracks in the ground become deeper as Zudomon reaches the bridge with the rest of the parents. The skeletons that haven't been destroyed race towards Sakuyamon as the Gizumon fire at Varudomon. Behind Angewomon & Cyberdramon, there emerges a Paildramon with red blotches & 2 [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] growing out of it via red cables.*

*Dianamon flies towards the skeletons, slashing with her scythe. Varodurumon releases another blast of light at the Gizumon*

Sakuyamon slams their staff into the ground, erecting a shield that extends outwards at the skeletons and hostiles that are in the path of its expansion.

Angewomon directs her arrows towards the Paildrabomination.

<"We can't fight all of these things, just keep going!">

*Megidramon coils around her as she says this & starts chomping down on her head.*

Tactimon<So you destroyed my undead army. I can always make more.>

*Tactimon slashes the ground, causing it to jut off into a huge mountain range that blocks off the Sanctuary. This is on top of the cracks that Megidramon is causing developing into great crevasses & the storm flashing overhead. The Paildramon is destroyed after 2 arrows pierce it, but its Agents fly towards Angewomon. More Gizumon & Paildramon just like that one continue to emerge from the various portals, despite Varudoromon continuing to blast them.*

Venusmon<Datamon, lead them to our new home.>
