Jack: "Spitefulness is not an attractive quality to have. You were chosen because you may be able to work alone if the situation calls for it. I'm going to be honest, pyrokenetic abilities are not unique to you. The other member of the team with such abilities is just incapable of working alone."

???: "In a manner of speaking, yes. Now be a good little bat and behave, or you'll find out what else we can do to you."

She begins to leave, stopping at the door.

???: "I would also advize against blabbing about what went on here. Not just for your sake, but those around you."

It'll be a long walk. A cab or the bus is going to be a lot quicker.

*She goes to a bus stop.*

T"Looks like some kids want to meet with me this afternoon."

A"How do you know they're kids?"

T"They are trying way too hard to sound formal, want to meet me in the mall of all places, don't even tell me what I'm supposed to be looking for, & overall project a lack of life experience."

A"Are you going to meet with them?"

T"Of course not."

*So she responds to that comment.*

Secondly, I do not know who Thiera Psyche is, but now that her name has been plastered all over this blog, I will find out and place her under my protection. I must insist on not posting speculation on my identity here, as it is irresponsible and could get innocent people hurt. From now on, any such post will be deleted as soon as I see it.

With no plan further than her small rebellion on the roof, Jin walked to front of the rooftop and glared down at the street as though hoping for something to kick off.

"Undoubtedly inferior," Grimm sneered. "Are we going?"

Taiyo: "Okay."

Jack: "In the sense she can't turn into a human torch under extreme duress. Also we're waiting for you to get out of bed and dressed."

He gestures to the guard outside.

Jack: "He will lead you to the bus once you're ready."

Jack leaves.

She ignores him and leaves, her entourage in tow.

Mutant Buster: "Ma'am, was it really a good idea to mark him?"

???: "If he's smart, he won't try anything stupid. We might even be able to use him to promote the MRA."

A bus eventually arrives. She'll have to transfer to get to the docks, but it'll take her there.

V"Alright. See you later, then."

*Having posted & shit, they get ready for classes.*

Jin jumped down to ground level and started walking to a bus stop, still frowning uncharacteristically deeply.

Grimm got up, got dressed and approached the guard, "Ready."

*Cameron gulps and rubs his arms again*

*Kylie is home from school because of what happened the night before. She sits on her bed holding Benjamin, who is busy chewing on her math homework*

Taiyo: "Bye."

The guard escorts him to what may have been a school bus once upon a time. It's painted blueish grey with the word Clanstein Rehabilitation Facility on the side.

Jack and The General are standing out, talking about something until Grim boards the bus where the follow suit.

I don't know what Jin has in mind, but let's say she has neglectful parents and there's a bus coming.

*Cameron waits for his parents I guess*

Grimm sat near the front of the bus with his arms folded and his customary sneer on display.

Jin asked the driver if the bus was going anywhere near the non-specific hospital.

*Presumably they disconnect, Ven calls Thiera, & is told that they have classes but can talk later, so Ven gets ready & heads out for work.*

On the bus is some medical staff, Jammer, and a pair of females that either than their hair color (one is a redhead while the other has dark hair) look identical, as well as Jack and The General.

It'll be a bit of a lengthy trip from the outskirts of the city to the bloody end of the world.

Cameron's morning is ruined when Detectives Alec & Raferty arrive.

Raferty: "You're Cameron Sorenson, correct?"

*Luna gets on a bus.*

Cameron:<That's me.>

Jin hopped on the bus to go to the hospital.

Grimm didn't want to talk to anybody, but kept aware of any other conversations he could overhear.

Jack and The General are talking low enough for assholes to not be eavesdropping.

The bus passes a dirt road, an old farm barely visible in the distance. The twins start going on about how it's "Oooh, so creepy," despite the rumors about it being far less horrifying than the actual truth.

They might just see a couple of vagrants walking down the street. Or it's just Aroma & Thiera. I get them confused some times.

Both of them get to experience trips of different lengths and see different sights. What can only be described as a convoy of various cars and SUV's pass by Luna's bus.

The vehicles are all fairly recent models, symbols of status and wealth depending on who occupies the vehicle.

Jin's bus does not get such a view.

The detectives introduce themselves before getting down to the brass tacks.

Raferty: "We took a statement from a Jin Zhou, the one that brought you here last night. We'd like to hear your side of the story starting with if anyone else was with you two at the sight of the fire."

OOC: Who ever met a vagrant with a pair of evening gloves? Except that one time she was a Vagrant AI. Also, there is nothing that I can do about any of this.

Cameron:<There were some people attacking us, but no one we knew.>

*Still driving*

Jin and Grimm each continued their relaxing commutes.

The bridge leading into the city comes into view. One of two ways into the city by land. That'll be something worth keeping in mind for the future.

They arrive at the college before the vagrants Psyche & Zinergizer because driving is faster than walking.

The hospital comes into view, a police cruiser in the parking lot. Jin's day probably got worse.

Raferty: "What did the others look like?"

Multiple vehicles come to a stop in an old warehouse. Kyle Malkovich and Sun-Hi exit a black SUV and wait for the others to exit their vehicle.

From a red SUV comes a Cambodian woman, her attire very out of place among the other two. While Malkovich and Sun-Hi are dressed like they're going to an office meeting, the Cambodian dresses like a movie star going to an award show, wearing a flashy bright blue and gold dress.

From two other cars, a late model sedan that has not been maintained comes some white dude with Aryan features possibly trying to imitate some kind of gangster style with his black and white track suit and gold chains while from a recent model Mitsubishi comes a well dressed Thai man.

Malkovich: "Good morning, Pike, Hansel, and Boon-Nam."

The Cambodian woman, Pike reels at the sight of Hansel.

Pike: "What is this low-life doing here? And what is this all about Malkovich? Why have we not wiped those Tyranno Boys off the planet?"

Kyle: "We cannot keep warring with these kids. There is nothing to be gained and eventually even if only to keep up appearances, the police will step in. And my people have been working with Hansel's crew for some time. It cannot hurt to bring some young blood into the organization."

I suppose Thiera & Aroma keep going & Luna gets off at her stop?

Jin wasn't all that surprised to see a police vehicle around a hospital, especially when she knew for sure there was a mutant in there. She waited to get off the bus, then head inside and to a receptionist.

Cameron:<People in HAZMAT suits and a lady ninja with super speed.>

*They find a parking spot, which probably isn't the easiest thing*

For whatever reason the bus goes by the construction site in the center of the city, it's coming along quite smoothly after three years.

Jack mentions something to The General about headquarters.

Receptionist: "Hello, how may I help you?"

Raferty: "What about a man with a mask?"

If only it were so easy. Now she has to transfer to another bus.

Pike: "They shot up my place of business! They killed your nephew! Nothing to be gained? What about respect? These idiots have complete disregard for what this organization was built upon. If this goes on, we might as well return to the old days when all that mattered was who had the most bullets."

Kyle: "This is my city! We do not make a move unless I give the okay. These freaks are just another speedbump to be barreled over. There is nothing to gain and plenty to lose from warring with them. If they continue to be a problem, I will deal with them when the time comes. Until then, you bite your tounge!"
